AutoCAD 2010 :: Every DXF And DWG Appears To Be Corrupt

It appears as if every DXF or DWG file stored on our server is corrupted. Everything was fine until my boss tried to open a DXF file earlier today and got this message:
"new.dxf is not valid DXF file
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded."
His PC has been sending out distress signals and is due for replacement so I didn't think this was that unusual. However, I tried to open the same file on another machine and got the same message. I got the same message attempting to open on my PC using TrueView 2010. I then checked other DXFs and got the same problem. DWGs just say "drawing File is not valid".
The only glimmer of hope I have is that I did have a few files saved to my desktop, rather than the server, and they open just fine. My instinct is that my boss has been 'button bashing' (he has previous) but obviously won't admit to anything. What other causes are possible? Virus?
Our machines are running AutoCAD 2010 and I've attached a 'corrupted' file.

On randon saves and converts within Adobe Illustrator, layers comprising photoshop files appear to have corrupted, and display with horizontal banding
We've been in contact with Apple support who have replaced the Motherboard, Graphics Card, Hard Drive and Power supply - the issue is still occurring
I've swapped out the bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse in favor of a USB and disabled Wifi & Bluetooth to exclude other hardware issues

i have created a block or several and made them annotative and I have worked with them, and the drawing for some time now without any issues. However, randomly during work, I suddenly noticed that all annotative blocks are displaying every scale associated to them all at once.
Upon closer inspection it turned out that different instances of a block with different values of attributes have been inserted as separate blocks with randomly generated names *U808, *889 etc. Each one of these generated blocks has in itself lines and text values, but duplicated or triplicated, in different sizes matching what have once been scales.
I cannot edit these generated blocks, they are not listed when I go to BEDIT.
Even blocks that didn't have any attributes, a block that is only a single circle, has been corrupted in this way.
P.S. I use AutoCad 2012.

I am an interior design student and my floor plan saved to USB seems to be corrupted now. It keeps saying File is not Valid. I was working on it last night and saved it like normal and today it won't open. This is my only copy of the file and I don't want to start over. How to recover at least part of it? It's on there somehow. It's showing that the file contains 1,024 KB.

I receive this pop up message every time I open a drawing. How to stop this from happening??
Not sure what info you may need I'm running windows 7 with autocad 2010. I also have autocad 2005 loaded on the same machine and this box does not appear when opening drawings with it.

when working in my current drawing (Model Space), i create a new mtext item, and it shows in bold, i am aware of the common problem of the text items having a z height other than 0.00 causing this, but i have checked, and reset the z height, have also tried the flatten command, and even tried explode and then flatten/z height.

The “window selection” selects only what appears on the screen! I wanted to select a page number located on the lower left corner of each title block of each drawing but found out that the “window selection” doesn’t keep selecting what doesn’t appear on the screen (if zoom in is applied)! For example, if I select a number of drawings and “zoom in” is applied then the window selection will only keep selecting what appears only on the screen!
Then how to let the “window selection” keep selecting all the objects regarding whether they appear on the screen or not?

I have a dwg with (dynamic) blocks and when i do a find and replace, it finds ivisbile text that aren't there. i did allready purge, there is no freezed or off layer. even when i copy the whole drawing into another empty dwg it appears.

The AutoCAD doesn’t show the “intersect osnap” at certain zoom!
The “intersection osnap” between a “hatched rectangle” and a “DASHDOT2” line appears and disappears depending on the amount of zoom!
As I zoom out the “intersection osnap” appears but when I zoom in, it disappears

I have a problem with a laggy autocad file that has been created from revit. Basically, what I have done is exported the revit title block to autocad so I can use it in dwg’s, hence keeping all of our drawings looking the same across the project. A little further down the line I have noticed a few anomalies when working on this revit-born dwg…
Firstly, the smallest (but most annoying!) thing is that when working on the drawing, selecting and deselecting ANYTHING will result in a half second lag. The program simply freezes for half a second.
Secondly, I notice that snaps are hindered, cad not recognising intersections and endpoints etc showing that ‘fragmented’ looking icon you see when snapping at a funny angle in 3D. Flattening does not vet this problem either. I picked up a lisp some time ago that takes a more forceful approach to flattening, which worked at first but then two days later the problem recurred, obviously where I had added to the drawing.
Thirdly, I duplicated this cad file and worked on them both for a period of time, then tried copying & pasting at 0,0 world coordinates from one drg to another only to find the copied items disappear! Deleted absolutely everything in one of the files, re-pasted and zoomed all in a bid to find the lines but still nothing until I use qselect to indirectly select them.

Out of the blue a LISP routine is not loading correctly. I get an error message (before I re-load file) that there is a problem with ACAD.dce file. When I re-load the routine it gives me a message that there is a problem with the dialog file (redefining object) Now, I did recently refine my search paths. All other routines seem to load fine and are without problems.

I just got a new laptop, it's totally clean.
Installed F-secure and made exceptions rules for all Autodesk related stuff
Installed Office-package.
Downloaded and installed Autocad LT 2014, no problems detected but when I start I get this error message.
I got less then 2 hours to fix this and a few other things I havn't gotten to yet and I need this laptop up and running tomorrow for a seminar.
"A display driver file (.HDI) is missing or has been corrupted. The program will be closed."
This problem may be caused by missing .hdi files in the following location: "Autodesk>Autocad LT 2014>Drv>
I can't find the specified file under the folder so I'm guessing it is missing, any quick fixes for this?

I had a file which, opened with Civil 3D 2013, worked fine, but one of the SID images disappeared and was shown as "corrupt" in the same drawing opened in Civil 3D 2014.
The problem was that the file name contained a character in a font not recognized by R2014. (The file name was G1105001_095-ps 12_5æ.sid) Once I renamed the file and re-attached it in 2014 it worked fine. 2013 processes this font type with no problem.

I have an assembly that has both downloaded parts and self created parts.
The problem I have is that if I isolate and then later undo isolate, Inventor will appear to freeze. If left for may be 40 mins or so the undo isolate action will have completed. The progress bar (bottom right hand corner) will freeze on a particular component (I think - the numbers by the side of the progress bar no longer count).
There are maybe 70-80 parts within the assembly and there are no showing errors. Is it possible to identify the 'corrupt' component? So I can replace it.

who has a specific layer assigned for the water drop routine verify if you get the same results.
If I take a file that has the layer assigned (C-TINN-WSHD) and import my template using the "Manage-Import styles" it corrupts the layer to (AcDbObjectId::kNull), then when I save the drawing and reopen it's reset to layer (0).
Pretty obvious but this only happens when "Import Settings" is toggled on, but it shouldn't be corrupting the layer if on.
Both files have the same settings and layers in each, so it's not looking for something that isn't there.

I’ve recreated and replaced a corrupt drawing, which contained surfaces that were data referenced into multiple files. Is there a way to update the data shortcuts, so other drawings referencing the surfaces are unaffected? I’ve tried moving the corrupt drawing to an archived folder and naming the new drawing and surfaces to match the old. However, I’m not able to repair the broken shortcuts in the other drawings. The surfaces are referenced in a large construction plan set that includes sections, profiles, and numerous labels based on the surfaces – it will be very time consuming to create a new reference in each drawing.
(I'm using Civil 3D 2013.)

I have been working with attributes and visibility states for months, i've created a dozen blocks that have worked exactly as designed... Now every block i make with the same method is not working properly
attached is a really simple block. to the left are the 4 individual attributes in the block. on the right is the dynamic block with 4 visibility settings to show 1 attribute, 2 attributes, etc... everything is perfect in the block editor, in model space; vis state 1 shows 3 att's, vis state 2 shows 3 att's, and vis states 3&4 work as designed.
I'm under the gun to create standard blocks to collaborate with 2 other another firms.

ive just recovered a whole bunch of pictures from a crashed harddrive. The problem is most of them (all of them) are corrupted (i guess their corrupted). Is there any way to fix the pictures? There should be because the windows thumbnails show the pictures without errors, but as soon as i open them in eg picture viewer or firefox, they are corrupt. I cant even open the pictures in photoshop. PS (CS2) just gives me: "Could not complete your request because of a problem parsing the jpeg data".
This is what the pics look like (small one is windows thumbnail, big one is picture opened in "Windows picture and fax viewer".)
As you can see the thumbnail has no errors.
How do i fix the picture so i dont get errors after opening it?

I'm using Photoshop 5.5 and OS Lion. The Finder crashed while doing a Search. When I rebooted and opened Photoshop, every Photoshop file I had worked on that afternoon, plus two from the day before, was corrupt - nothing else was affected. Desktop preview icons and file sizes looked fine, but when I opened the files they were just bands of color and noise. All layers were gone and the size was incorrect. The jpgs I had saved from the psd files were also corrupt. Adobe blames Apple and Apple blames Adobe.

I have Photoshop cc and I would like the try and have an image with the corruption lines for an effect. I have been looking on the web for a way to physically do this by opening the file in Text Mate and swap some code (not the header) and try to re-open in ps. Every time I do this ps refuses to open the file.
I know this is slight odd, but how to corrupt an image and still have ps open the file and show corruption lines like the old days.

I have a file that is about 125megs, it stopped opening for me. I don't understand why, it's always has opened ever since I created it. Now it freezes my machine, this just started today. I'm running a G4 Dual 1.42mhz os 10.3 and 2gigs of ram. It's the only copy i have, please tell me there's a way to repare it. My Mac keeps telling me to restart every time i try to open it.

Having troubles with a registered copy of Photoshop 6, I uninstalled it and when I tried to reinstall, the AutoPlay feature of the CD did not work. I then used Explore to find the Photoshop .exe file and could not find it on the CD. I tried using the Windows Add Programs feature, and it said that it could not find a .exe file on the CD. Called Adobe customer service who referred me to technical support and while they were able to confirm that my CD was registered, they were able to offer no help as the software is outdated. It has been installed 3 times, originally on Windows 2000 and has not been working correctly on Windows XP Home Edition.

I recently had to burn a whole bunch of images onto cd, due to a harddrive format I was gonna perform...I burned the files...the cd showed no errors during burning....
not all images but almost all my jpeg files when I try to open them...in any program, I.E., windows preview, photoshop, illustrator, u name it...they won't open and I get this message...
"unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found"
I never had a problem with the files before...now I got all these pics that I need, they are very important...and I can't open them...the file sizes are the same if that matters....

I've recently gone from pc to mac. I've imported photos from pc/elements 9 to mac/LR4. I'm in the process of getting the photos organized in LR4 when I got a message that my catalog was corrupt. When trying to repair I got a message that the catalog can not be repaired. I have not backed up my catalog.
It shows that my photos are on Macintosh HD / Users / bateson / Pictures / SteveLightroom4Pictures. Is there a way to fix or redo the catalog? Or do I need to start over and rebuild a new catalog by re-importing all the files to a new catalog? It has taken me a month to import and reorganized from elements 9.
