3ds Max :: Exception - Breakpoint Has Been Reached

I used to be a decent 3D modeler back in the day when 3D Studio was around. Now I am trying to get into the modding world and was suggested to get 3D Studio Max 2012.
I turned off all my apps, Aero effect, disabled all anti virus and any other non system applications before installing. Additionally I installed the SP2 and Product Update 8. regardless of what I try, if my Graphic mode is set to Nitrous, I get following error:
Exception: Breakpoint has been reached and I get a CTD(Crash to Desktop) followed by the general windows that pops up from Autodesk to send an error report. If I use Direct 3D, I get a similar message and CTD. Open GL works, but looks terrible and the view ports don't refresh right etc, making it unworkable
This is my system specs:
i5 3570k CPU
Sapphire HD Radeon 7850 OC w 2GB of VRAM
(driver Catalyst 12.6 latest driver)
8 GB DDR3 Ram
AsRock z77 Extreme 4 MB
Mushkin 120GB SSD HD (where 3D Max 2012 is installed)
I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, etc but no matter what I do, I get the same exception error and CTD

After almost 10 good use, I get an error message when starting ACLT, A breakpoing has bee reached. (0x80000003)occured in the application at 0x7c839ac5. The computer then locks up. The only recovery that I have found to work, is to reboot. I tried using the installation CD to A.Repair, B. Reinstall, C Uninstall followed by Install. None works

I have had numerous application errors which result in the PS CS4 shutting down unexpectedly. 1 such error message: "The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application 0x78138a8c". It happens repeatedly when I try and create Brushes, when I open normal jpg files, when I create new file. There seems to be no direct correlation between an action and a crash. (I have worked on CS2 with nothing like this ever happening.)

What is the maximum number of elements I can have in the timeline? I believe I have about 92 elements now and when trying to add another element it shows up at the top of the elements panel, but isn't showing up at all in the timeline?
I have tried converting some elements to symbols or grouping elements but still the new element I've added to the stage is not showing up in the timeline. I am not EVEN done adding more elements.

I am using a feature line to create a grading for a residential house pad. The county grading ordinance calls for a 6' drainage terrace (bench) when slopes exceed 40' in vertical height. I know that for corridor grading you can specify a slope bench with a subassembly but that is not what I am doing here.
I'd like a solution where the grading remains dynamic because I know that benching will cause slopes to cross property lines. I also want to keep the dynamic nature to be able to make adjustments to balance the earthwork.

I have CS4 installed on my "regular" system. Works fine. Yesterday I installed it on the laptop and I'm having a bizarre problem.
I've also got CS3 installed on the laptop, so the CS4 install was done as an upgrade. Went fine with no problems. I can open CS4, set up palettes and workspaces, open files and edit normally.
BUT, when I attempt to open preferences - SPECIFICALLY either General or Performance, I get an unhandled exception and CS4 crashes. The event log says its an Event ID: 1002, Source: Application Hang. The text is
Hanging application Photoshop.exe version 11.0.0.0 hang module hungapp. version 0.0.0.0. hang address 0x00000000.
I can open preferences on any other preference set, but if I attempt to navigate to either the General or Performance set it crashes.
YES, I HAVE STARTED CS4 REPEATEDLY WITH CTRL/ALT/SHIFT PRESSED TO CLEAR THE PREFERENCES.
I don't want to uninstall CS3 yet because I have to teach a seminar Thursday and if I can't get CS4 fully functional I'm going to have to use CS3. Is there something else I need to change/delete/?

If you key in CUI, and change the "Command List" to "All Commands and Controls", an Unhandled Exception is generated.

Using VB.net to run a standalone program that launches Inventor at the beginning. I have recently moved the program to a new computer, and all of the sudden I am getting these errors. The message box below the program reads "A first chance exception of type 'System.Runtime.Interopservices.ComExceptopn' occured in mscorlib.dll.
I turned on the exception break command when those kinds of errors occured, and it stopped on the first line of the startup of Inventor code.I have added my reference to the autodesk.inventor.interop.dll already.

I am new to developing with this API but not to VB.NET. I am trying to associate mtext to a leader using the instructions in the AutoCAD .NET Developer's Guide (115) for AutoCAD 2012 but keep getting the eInvalidInput exception. One suggestion is that an exception is thrown if the mtext does not exist but I checked the mtext objectid for null and valid which returns good. I am certain that I am missing something but not sure what. I have included my source; the exception occurs at: acLdr.EvaluateLeader()

I created a vb add-in that creates standard sheet setups using a .pc3 file called BATC PDF.pc3 . (This .pc3 file was created using the DWG To PDF.pc3 plot config - Margins were set to 0)
The add-in accomplisheds the following :

I am testing the application functionality with a wide variety of our AutoCAD drawing library. I have ran into some anomalies with some of our drawings that have a large number of sheets:
Exceptions obtained Random) - via .dll (Random FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading Oxffff Exception at ........No exception - using CommandLine "Publish" using DSD created by routingNo exception - via Visual Studio debugging (speed via debug infrastructure is 1/10th publish speed)
Routine works well with drawings that have smaller sheet counts(10 or so) sheets.
I am configuring the Visual Studio solution so that it can be executed without the supporting database

I have been using AutoCAD 2013 for 2 days now, and already the new version seams so unstable! lots of errors every where!
sometimes the file gets stuck, and while you draw the file looks empty, yet when you restart autocad, you see everything you didnt see drawn.
yet this doesnt appear all the time, but the error I will be discussing does:
Try enter CUI and set the Quickcalculator pallet to appear on the right or left side of the screen. Close the CUI, and everything is going fine, and the pallet appears normal. Yet close Autocad and start it again, and an error will appear on start it says this:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Width and Height must be non-negative."
and the Quickcalculator pallet will appear floating in the middle.
I tried everything, but no use. The same error over and over again. This didnt happen in older versions and no big changes happned to the CUI interface, which makes me conclude its a bug.

I've recently ported some code from VS2008 and AutoCAD 2010 and realized that the eNotNewlyCreated exception continues to be raised when inserting blocks in a loop using AddNewlyCreatedObject in code that I'm pretty sure is only being called once.

I am experiencing the error mentioned in the subject regularly. After a random number of times (occasionally the first time, mostly it requires several attempts), a click on the open icon in a toolbar, or an attempt to open a file from the file menu, will result in the program immediately crashing.
I've tried searching via Google, and within these forums, and haven't found an exact match for the message I'm getting. I've seen that e06d7363 can be thrown due to incompatible .dll files within the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable package, but those sites indicated a location other than 75fab9bc. Some sites mentioned the file history being a problem, so I've disabled that within AutoCAD. Still no luck. I then deleted the associated history registry key, and the problem still continues. I restored the reg key, and...here I am, posting to the forum.
I am using AutoCAD 2007 LT with Windows 7 Enterprise, 64 bit, on a HP i7 laptop with 8 GB of memory (not sure of the exact model, it's a work computer). The Microsoft Visual C++ x64 Redistributable version on my machine is 10.0.30319.

i try to open Adobe Photoshop it gets through the loading screen and then comes up with this error message: "The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812aeb" and it closes the program wether i hit "OK" or "CANCEL"
I have tried a number of different photoshop versions including CS2, and 7.0, and i have gotten the same error message every time. I have obviously tried installing and uninstalling. This error does not occur when i run my copy of Adobe Photoshop Premiere Pro 1.5

Every time I try to use the plugins, I get "Access violation exception at 0x156D3F60" and it won't let me continue? I get this message everytime.
I have sent this to XARA support twice and has been in the Que for 2 weeks?

Recently I found that I couldn't import a .bip file onto my CAT rig. Here's the error message:
Unknown system exception
and highlights the following line of code:
local liindex = FindCATNode catNode;
I've tried several things and copy/pasting the error to google only gives a single page of results, with very few possible solutions. There was one saying I should replace the highlighted code with a different piece of code and restart max. this just changes the error message.
Another solution was to get max 2011 32 bit, save it there and open it up in 2012, however other posts had the exact same problem with importing 2011 files into 2012. so that also doesn't seem like a working solution.
That's about when I reached the end of the page... Could it be that importing the original BVH onto a biped and exporting the animation to .bip caused the .bip file to get corrupt or something? I've tried loading the BVH file onto my CAT rig directly, but this just crashed max.

When defining new LISP function with .NET, I think it's necessary to first check for the argument validity (number and type) and I am convinced the evaluation must stop in case of invalid inputs (as the built-in LISP function work).
For this, I use some classes which inherit from System.Exception:

This works quite fine except the message in the command line is followed by an eInvalidAdsName stack trace and, in the Visual LISP console, the message is: "; error: ADS request error".
So, is there a way to avoid the eInvalidAdsName stack trace in the command line and have the thrown exception message in the Visual LISP console so that it mimics closer the built-in functions?

My first time using Edge. I exported an html file from Muse & just wanted to animate some buttons on the page sliding in. But when I click on anything thats a button (from Muse) I get the Exception Error message "An error occured. Please save your work and restart Edge Animate"
It seems to happen to anything in the file that has more that one state. Is this something that I cant do in Edge?I've tried restarting. saving as a different file in a different location. uninstalling/re-installing Edge.
Not sure if it matters: The buttons that I'm trying to animate were not automatically created from a Muse Widget. I made the different states in Photoshop & imported as a photoshop button.

I have a massage of "Unhandled c000001dh Exception at 776a50d0h" when I want to add any text field to a drawing.
I had an AutoCAD 2014 but I did reinstall it to 2013 and there is no change.
There is no answer for bug report as well.
