I took some film of some wrestling matches. I want to share it with the coaches so they can use it for training. I would like to have a 'time counter' in the corner some where for easy reference so they can fast forward or reverse as desired. Is there a way to do that?
I am trying out my new cam which can do video in 24p (23.something), and I can edit the clips, all ok. There are just two things I cannot do: Make a still (it's really the 24p material, I used a clip in 60i and stills worked), and changing the time/frame counter to 24 frames. No matter what I do, it will always stay there.
My coworkers are positive that they have been able to INSERT multiple blocks at one time but now when using the INSERT command, they can only select a single block for insertion. I tried recreating the issue and it does the same thing for me both using DESIGN CENTER and the INSERT command. Is there a setting somewhere that controls the number of blocks you can INSERT at one time or are they just delirious?
If it isn't possible to do in AutoCAD, then is there possibly a LISP routine out there that will achieve this?
I was inserting blocks. I was trying to insert more than one block at the same time. If I have to insert each block every single time, that's just so slow. There must be another way to make it easier to bring up more than one block at the same time.
I am using both Mac version and windows version of AutoCAD. In the mac version, when tried to open up block editor, for some reason, it says the BLOCKEDITOR = 0 (read only). I couldn't even get into block editor to make changes for my block.
I have bought an Easycap capture device and it is installed properly. However when I try to capture video from VHS I get the message "The sample start time is after the sample end time"
I am testing out VideoStudio X6. I was positive until I tried to make a video from .jpg. I am not able to do so. I have tried every capture option availabe, and get different errors, like "file form mismatch", cannot open display and the list goes on.
I have used the day to read about it it, try to update all drivers, nothing is working.
If I am not able to do this I cannot buy the program.

I've needed to insert special characters & JPGs in title text a few times and haven't found a method. The typical word processing stuff doesn't work: Combining half marks; Combining diacritical marks; Typing special characters (Unicode Standard) even when assigned to custom keys.
In Hawaiian, I need to use a glottal stop (upside down, mirror image apostrophe) and a standard macron over an "I" (hard to find in any language) to be correct. I don't think I'll find an Hawaiian keyboard. Changing languages doesn't work either because the restriction is; availability of keyboard characters.
I've created a Video Studio 8 project with numerous subtitles that line up with their related videos.
Foolishly, I waited until the end to create a main title still image and title wording that now need to be inserted at the beginning of the time line.
Is there a way to insert the image and title at the beginning so that all the subsequent subtitles will automatically shift to stay aligned with their related videos, or do I have to do that manually?
certainly the topic has already been covered but with the hundreds of responses I struggle to find it, then propose it a new:
how do I put in the time line already been settled for good, a video clip so that the whole time line moves?
Note: I added the other video clips in many 4-track, not using the main track, which is empty. So should I insert a video clip that I had forgotten about 20 minutes before the end, so you have to move automatically all the work (including effects, subtitles, etc), so it all coincides, without having to move the whole hand. ...
I am using version X4 and don't see option turning off image resizing. The problem appears when I want to insert image larger than a video size (i.e. 640x480). Video Studio put image to the video layer with resolution fitted to video size. I want it to put image with it's original size.
For example I want to insert image with the resolution of 1920x1080 to the video 640x480. As a result I see on the movie still image resized to the smaller resolution (640x480) - it can be fitted to the video or can maintain original aspect ratio but it has smaller resolution! Then when I wan to show a fragment of the image (let it be a 640x480 crop of the full image 1920x1080) Video Studio is re sampling 1920x1080 image to the smaller resolution 640x480 and then the only way to show cropped image is to enlarge this smaller one. When it is enlarged lets say to 120% is OK, but I need to enlarge it to 300-350%. It looks horrible.
Is it possible to insert a .VSP project timeline details within another project timeline ? My purpose is to be able to edit the various components of an existing timeline project (titles, transitions, some photos and videos deleted or inserted,...) while intergrating it within another .VSP project. I tried the "insert a VS project" feature but it is inserted as one video in the top video/photo timeline, preventing me from modifying any of its components ?
I have problem with .avi files. I can insert .avi video to library. That is not the problem, but when I want to insert it to the timeline, that show me error message, where is written: "The content of this file is unreadable." It's video from Google Earth recorded by Fraps.
I do photo editing with PSP X3. How do you insert custom backgrounds? What would be the size of such a background. On the subject, what size would I have to size photos to fill the whole frame in Video Studio Pro X3? I know the diminsions would change with format but where are those numbers? By the way, I do mostly slideshows.
I'm a professional musician trying to create material for my website and YouTube. I recently shot video with two cameras at an event. I need to learn
1) how to insert the second video track, 2) how to line it up to the exact time of the first video track, and 3) how to pan back and fourth between tracks to create a short film.
I loaded the frames (like in image) in my editor and I want to know how I compress the time? In my editor I have 12 minutes for all the frames and I want to compress at 8 seconds. The time is not active when I select all frames.
I installed a trial version of Pro X5 with Windows 7. Almost every time I try to capture video it crashes.
Camera is a Sony HDR-HC5E. The only format I am offered is MPEG. Sometimes it begins to capture, other times there is no picture on screen and nothing is captured, most times I get a NOT RESPONDING warning and Video Studio just freezes. Sometimes it works but very rarely!. I have reloaded X5 three times.
Downloaded the trial VS x6 Pro and am loving it. Been working on a project and wondering if there is a way to do time lapse of video footage. The variable speed is not fast enough for my liking and what to speed things up a little more.
I have tried to insert a mp4 video file into the timeline and it just does not see the file and if I navigate to it and try open it does nothing
I have download all patches This videostudio pro x3 came loaded on the laptop the mp4 file is from a olympus sp-800 us - I took it from the sd card and put it in a folder on the hard drive
I read all the things people have written I am not at the point of trying to create file I can not import the file at all
In timeline mode I select the beginning of a slide (about halfway through the project), then I import an MP3 file. But, it gets placed at the beginning of my project.

I'm playing around with time lapses in VS5 and am having some success. One thing I can't work out though is how I go about adding Pan &/or Zoom to a sequence. I can add it to individual images but i'm not sure how to add the effect over a series of say 300 images so that it's a smooth motion?
I'm on Windows 7 (both home and Pro workstations). I cannot pick more than one file and insert to video palette. I can insert individually. This is for all file types (.mov, .wmv., etc). It inserts the files as "uvs100215-004.mpg" "uvs100215-002.mpg" but when I hit 'OK' it says 'unable to find file'. This used to work. I have tried to remove the quotations, insert period, semi colon to no avail.
I wish to use the Speed TimeLapse effect (actually slow motion) I have a clip that last approx 8 min I would like to "slow motion" only a portion of the clip approx 20 sec. Is it possible to apply the effect without having to cut/trim the original clip. The clip properties are as follows;
ntsc/hdmv H.264 Video Upper Field First ;1920/1080 16:9 ;24bits;29.97 fps Audio 5.1 Dolby Digital
I have vs 11.5 and dvd movie factory7. When i am burning a mpeg2 file in dmf7 its burning the file faster. When i try to burn the same file in vs11.5 its take hours.
I am generating a video with lots of still images in it. I want the default transition time for the crossfade to be 0.5 seconds, but I can't find any way to specify anything other than integer values with a 1 second minimum. Is it possible to do this or do I have to modify each transition property?
I'm using VS 11. I want to insert some text in 2 separate title boxes. I have selected the multiple titles option. But I can't figure out how to actually insert a second box. It inserts one, and that's it. I'm trying to create a narrative-text screen that has a main title with a large font, and another box with text in a smaller font. How do I get a second box to appear?
