I have Corel Videostudio X5 Ultimate.I have a "interactive" DVD with links you can click on when the DVD is in the computer (its a tutorial DVD). As it happens the DVD is allowed to legally be copied and burned onto a new DVD for safe keeping. Now, when I tried that out, I cant figure out how to do it.
The DVD of course have its "invisable" files as well as movies and other material on it. And when copy image DVD and burn it, it has to be possible to click links and so forth. Not only copy a random movie file. It has to be literally the entire DVD. Everything to work basically.
When I tried Corel Videostudio X5 Ultimate to copy image of the DVD - basically copy & burn the entire DVD, it doesnt seem to work. It opened the dialog and I choosed various options like select source etcetera. But it only seem to copy the movies and source files, but the dvd isnt interactive when copied PRIOR to burning it.
Both Corel VIdestudio as well as other Open Source software like ImgBurn/Free Easy CD DVD Burner creates a folder/project with all chapters, but wont retain the interaction made by the author with clickable links and all that. So it doesnt seem to make the job.
DO I need to buy Corel owned Roxio to get this job done, or can I use Corel VideoStudio X5 Ultimate?
For this example let's take in account that I have 2 identical in every aspect copies (meaning size and content at this point) of the very same image.
1st remains unedited,
2nd is edited only as far as concerning the image > adjustments menu through changing mostly channel mixer, selective color, saturation etc values and had an object attached to it atop of the original depiction before being edited as a whole.
What I want to do is to edit the 1st image, compare in some certain ways the colors of it I guess with the ones of the 2nd, match for instance where color hex value X (and horizontal/vertical X,Y coords - is it needed in order to be more precise and avoid mistakes?) (I guess again) from the 1st image is edited into color (or even additional settings atop of that?) hex value Z, do that automatically for all the combinations and immediately apply the same changes I applied from 2nd pic when unedited (and looked exactly like 1st pic) to the very same 2nd pic in start, TO the 1st pic in the present case. Also in order to do this "color matching" before applied or not I need to set out-seperate the area where I have added an additional object in the 2nd picture and fill it possibly with the original content from the 1st(can it be done in one move) in order for the process to be complete?
That means I turned the 2nd image into a combination of blue-green-red colour (and other) from orange-yellow-cyan (just an example) I want to do the very same to my 1st pic which is orange-yellow-cyan etc.
I am trying to find a faster way to save my images. I shoot in raw, save raw images as jpegs after editing them in Camera Raw. I am using Photoshop CS6 on a Mac version 10.7.5. When I save, I either have to save as a copy of the exisiting image, or replace the image I'm working on. Other forums I've read said to make an action to save and create a function key to make this process faster, but my function keys aren't working, and playing the action I've created still makes a copy of the image.
I want to copy one image and paste it into a selection (masked) of another image. I have the option to paste into which works but would like to be able to paste in Place as I believe this makes it a smart object and references the original file.
I have been using gimp now for about 2 months and have just upgraded my OS to Mavericks and upgraded Gimp to 2.8.8.
Upon doing this I seem to have lost the ability to copy/cut an image or part thereof from one open image into another... Example:
I have an image window open with a picture a car and I have an image window open with a race track back ground.
I want to copy the car from image 1 into image 2, but for some reason I cannot do this function anymore. When attempting it, once the item is copies to the clipboard and I then swap to the second image, when I paste as a new layer it pastes the clipboard from that image and not the image from the first window...
I'm trying to write a script to batch process a number of files. I want the script to open file a*.png, convert black color to alpha and paste image b*.png on top of a*.png (both are the same size). The script converts black to alpha, but it doesn't paste image.
I am using Corel Video Studio 4. I just finished editing a video just under 55 min. in length. It took 5 1/2 hours to render to DVD-R. There doesn't seem to be any way to copy the DVD-R.
My Windows 7 operating system can't read the rendered copy, and if I have to wait 5 1/2 hours for each copy, I won't have enough done for Christmas. Is there any way I can get the finished show from Video Studio 4 into some other format that is able to be copied in normal 16x disc speed?
I want a plugin for Paint.NET and i will show what i want to say in some pictures. For this exemple i will have :
A. a transparent image (800x600) B. a red ball image (32x32)
1. I have the A image. 2. I copyed and pasted the ball image B on the A image. 3. Now what plugin i want to make is to expand the ball B selection on the all A screen/canvas. 4. Now the ball image B will be expanded on the all screen of A.
Installed VideoStudio for compatibility with Windows 7. Used mainly for editing out commercials fron television programmes recorded onto DVD. Both single use and re-recordable discs used. Everything worked well though the program is top-heavy for my requirement. Automatic suggestion last week that I install an update. The update failed and the problems started. I can no longer import from DVD. The process appears to run up to 60% then stops. The program then stops responding and has to be closed using task manager. The DVD can only be ejected by re-starting the computer. Tried removing VideoStudio using the clean-up tool and following the regedit instructions. Re-installed but no improvement. Suggested workround by Corel is to copy the vob file from the DVD to the desktop, rename this file as a mpg then import into VideoStudio. This does not work. So at the moment I have un-useable software.
I made a video using Videostudio Pro X4. Due to a PC crash I lost all the original files, music, etc. I thought "no problem" I will just copy the burned DVD. Although I found out it isn't as easy as just copying it. The copy I made won't play. How do I duplicate a DVD I made with VS Pro X4?
Having spent hours creating an image mask I am not satisfied with the altered image it is linked to. Is it possible to copy an image mask to a separate but identical image?
So I was wondering, as I have Corel Video Studio X2 and X4, is it possible to import the DVD menu templates from X2 into X4? Not the ones you can download; apparently they are for quick projects only.
I have finished a family project (mainly images with titles) for my granddaughter and burned it to DVD. I included quite a few photos of her ancestors and titled them all. I am extremely happy with the result. How I need to do the same for my grandson. This one will include all the photos I have from his birth to his latest 14th Birthday. I would like to copy the section on Ancestors from my granddaughter's DVD to this new one without having to add all the old photos again and add titles to each.
Would it be possible to load the original VSP file and delete all the other content and then add new content around it? Is there an easier and more "professional" way to do this?
I have a keyboard shortcut for Copy (see directly below). This command doesn't copy multiple. But if I type "Copy" at the comment prompt (AutoCAD 2013) the copy multiple is the default. Copymode is already set to "0".
Let's say I have a some footage in one project with all the effects, fade-ins/outs etc I want and I want to use the very same thing in another project. How can I get only this one part from project A to B.
Open a second VS don't work out of the box. It just goes to my already open window, if I try to open again. I don't want to convert is as a Video first - if I ever want to make changes this might make it more complicated - depending on the situation.
I created several projects on my C:drive and as they are now taking up too much room, I want to tranfer them to a new drive partition. When I do a smart package I lose all menus, and when I simply copy the whole VSPfolder to another drive, I need to re-link all files and even then, the menu doesn't seem to work. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to preserve my projects properly on another drive and delete the original VSP folder on drive C
I'm working on a project that pulls together many short clips from many much longer video files e.g. there might be less than a minute pulled from a 60 minute file then another then another etc. I found that my computer (which is reasonably beefy) was struggling to cope with the workload so I split the project into separate project files i.e. Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. My thinking was that once I had done all the editing I could cut and paste all the clips into a single new project file before rendering the entire thing. But I can't work out how to do it! Sure, I can copy and past individual clips or even a sequence of clips but on pasting they lose all the editing I've done! I just end up with a uniform bunch of unedited clips!
I guess the alternative is to render each project file (1, 2 and 3) separately then pull the rendered videos together into Project 4. I can then render Project 4 to give me my final 'movie'. But surely that means as I've rendered everything twice I'm suffering a quality loss?
So the question is: is there any way of copying edited video clips from one project file into another project file AND retaining all the edits?
I was wondering if there is a way to copy tracks (video, overlay, audio) from an old project into a new project. I have tried copy them and paste them but that is not possible.
An other solution could be to make a video file of the "old project" and import that on the video track in the new project.
In the past using Pinnacle copy tracks from other projects and paste them in new projects was a possibility.
I have V3, can you tell me does V4 has the ability to copy and paste transitions yet? I'm sick of doing 100 transitions and having to edit each one when I want the same each time.
When I try to capture a video from camcorder-(HI 8 Tape) it starts to copy the stops and says tape is copy protected. Then program freezes. It worked last week and this is since svc pak 2 today.
I bought the Adobe CS5 master collection from a deal at my university. This error only started happening today, it was completely fine for the last few months up til yesterday, so it doesn't have anything to do with my specs probably.
Whenever I try to copy an image (ctrl + c), Photoshop would freeze. No error, no popup or anything, simply a freeze. The mouse cursor doesn't even turn into that loading icon, but nothing would be click able and any animations (like marquees) would stop.

Also Photoshop CS5 has a lot of bugs when Flash CS5 is also open, causing a ton of crashes of either Flash or Photoshop. It's like these two programs don't like each other. I'm surprised this didn't go noticed during testing ?
I have created an image on a document sized 14.5*10 cm. I am trying to copy the whole image to a new A4 document and it looks tiny or very fuzzy (if resized). Why is the image tiny when the document size is not that much different?
Every time I try to copy an image (with a transparent BG) and paste it into my overall project I'm working on, both opened in GIMP, I always get just the selected dotted lines as an outline of the image.
I have an image of a table but a little area is discoloured. I would like to copy or get a certain colour from this image and then paste that over the discoloured area to make the table look normal. What tool could i use/how could it be done? I did try using the Clone stamp but it didnt work as expected.
