I have placed my assembly onto the idw and the line weight is set up correct for the majority of the drawing, but the small details, line less than 1mm together still carry the same line weight as the rest of the drawing. They are coming out far too thick as one big fat line.
Is there a way (Automatically, not RHM change layer) to select lines that are close together to move to a different layer that has a different line weight? I dont really want to go around selecting every line close together and changing the layer or weight do I?
Once I installed windows 7, while I WAS using PSE 9, I had the tiny font problem. I stopped using PSE for 2 years. I just installed PSE 11. Though better, the Font is still way smaller than I would like. Maybe it's just tougher for seniors? Can they not make the font adjustable? I was told there is no way to increase the size of the font?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am running a subscription to Creative Cloud on a new Windows laptop....just Photoshop to start with. The fonts and icons are so small I can hardly see them...I have to get really close to the screen. I went to Edit >Preferences >Interface and changed the font size from medium to large but that didn't work (or if it did, the change was negligible). My screen resolution is set at 1920x1080 (recommended). I tried lowering it but that only changed the sizes of the fonts on my desktop, not in Photoshop. I run PS cs4 on my old laptop and never have had this problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the Adobe Font Package but I'm having trouble finding what I need for my banner ads. Because I'm working in small type, I need thick fonts that look good in small, 12-16pt type.
I've found that Myriad Pro Bold is a good one for this but I'm looking for others that will give a nice, professional look to my banner ads as well.
For some reason, i have to make my text the max size in order to see them! When i set the font to 1296 (the max) i can see it as if it were approx. 18 pt or so. has this happened to anybody else? what can i do?!

Any way to have large easily readable fonts in the grid ?
I'm using the pen tool tracing a drawing and want to create the line thats thick at one end and thin at the other, like calligraphy type lines, how tdo you set them up?

View 4 Replies View RelatedIt must still be possible to simply paint a stroke with the paint brush that will fade away from thick to thin and to then to nothing. I can do this easily in my trusty PS version 6, but I can't find this feature in CS. (There's something called "Fade" in CS, but it's a whole different thing.) This is not a "nice-to-have" feature, it is essential. For example, it allows me to draw cartoons with lines that appear to be painted the way a brush makes lines that start out fat and gradually get thinner and thinner.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI reloaded my Wacom and PSD. I have current drivers and all appears as normal, however... I can't for the life of me get the settings right to draw using pressure, from a thin to think line and back. I played with those settings in Brush dynamics and it will only draw as a round stroke with no thickness variations.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to see "resent" fonts when choosing, be able to type letter to get down the list quickly, group similar fonts, etc. Maybe have a magnifying glass attached to cursor to see fonts better.... Why have this not been done?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt used to be that I very rarely used fonts within CS5 but recently I have. I realized that all of the fonts supposedly included with CS5 are not available via my drop down menu.
I then found these fonts in Windows/fonts so I copied all of those fonts into Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts. These unavailble fonts are now listed in that folder but are still not available via the dropdown menu in PS CS5.
I've recently read that the fonts don't really even NEED to be in the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder and that PS should actually make all of the fonts in Windows/Fonts available via the dropdown menu. Yes, I have restarted PS after copying the files and also tried rebooting my PC after copying the files. The fonts are still not available via the drop down text menu within PS even though all of them are now in both locations.
I have put some new fonts into C:/windows/fonts and they have come up in other programs e.g. Microsoft office but they are not showing up in photoshop.
i am using vista home premium with SP1 and it is 32bit and photoshop cs4.
I am currently converting my drawing to PDF. However, certain lines on the drawing are showing up bold and thick when converting. I understand that they are appearing and disappearing due to me turning on or off the hide/show lineweights feature. But I would like the lines to be default size. I don't need them thick.

In this particular exercise I was using only lines with modified thickness and 3DFACE once for the bottom.
1. Is it possible to cut the holes in the walls? If yes, how?
2. How to get rid of those annoying red lines (here they are the same as X and Y positive semi-axis)?
3. Where can I find 3DFACE and similar tools using UI? (AutoCAD 2012)
Borders usually align through their central axis. For example, if I want an image to touch a border an I use the match position command [eyedropper tool], the border will align according to its central axis. What I want to do is that the border should align by its external edge. I want coreldraw to consider the thickness of the border while aligning things. How can I do it?

The text inside the viewports in one drawing in paper space shows thickened when zoomed in and is hard to read, and this only happens in one drawing.
What is the setting to change this?
I have Code which creates PDF for the preferred layout using Adobe PDF. But problem is lines in the pdf conversion file is very thick and also the text when we zoom inside. I have done tried all the ways. Done with LWDISPLAY = off, LWT = off.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have 2000 objects in my drawing and they all have outline pen widths that are abnormally thick, say 5000 mm. I'm using that method to export additional info with the AI file. Of course, I use Simple Wireframe view model.
Whenever I change an object, X5 takes about 90% CPU for about 8 seconds, and during that time I can't do anything else with Corel Draw.
I suppose it is drawing somewhere and thick lines take too much time.If I change all the objects to Hairline, or I enable Manual refresh, things work smoothly.
Is there anything I could do to prevent X5 from drawing all objects somewhere? I've tried disabling Use Off-screen image, but that doesn't work.
I thought it was Windows Aero, creating taskbar thumbnails, but I suppose that happens only when the thumbnail is actually visible on-screen.
BTW, Corel 11 and Corel 7 don't care about pen thickness...
I'm trying to print my 3d model in Autocad 2012 using layout but it creates a thick outline which I don't need. Is there a way to make this outline the same weight as all the rest lines? (The line weight is normal in drawing). Also some broken lines appears when I plot this drawing which I would like to repair... If it's important: I imported this model from Revit.

Text in the model space is displayed annoyingly thick. It was always ok but something changed beyond of my knowledge in one particular project only. Can't change it back, it plots ok though.
You can compare the pictures: two different files with absolutely identical text settings... And, when I try to choose between text styles in text properties it says "The current style has been modified..." although I did not! I think both things are related some how...
I have ACad 2011..
When I create a drawing in model space and then take off several views onthe new layout command, when I go to plot the layout in PDF all the viewsappear with a really thick line weight
I have tried selecting every part of the layout and changing the weight to 0mmas it was before but it doesn't make any difference...
It seems that I have accidentally changed a setting but I don't know how to fix it. I am trying to create a circle with a thick edge/border,like this My link I am going to have text in the border. It worked fine as in previous pic but gimp wont let me do it anymore.
When I try to create a circle with wide edge now the shape completely changes to a diamond type shape My link It's not a circle anymore! I am guessing that I must have changed some setting but don't know how to fix it. I am using windows vista and gimp 2.8.4.I
why my lines are thick when I zoom in on screen yet they become "normal when zoomed out" seams to me that lineweighs are being displayed on screen, a variable setting perhaps?
