Jan 17, 2008how to make the Pictures flash? You know when you have a layers of different pictures and then to make them flash? i know you can do it with gimp but i dont want to install it as my computer is slow enough already... is it possible to do it in PS3?

Aug 21, 2006if I have an image that was originaly 3000x2000 or so, and I reduced it to 800x600 for web viewing, and then saved it as a photoshop file, can I just open up the file in photoshop again, adjust>image size to make it go back to 3000x2000 and print it out without loss of sharpness or quality?

May 31, 2004When I save a picture that I made in Photoshop as a jpg, bmp, or png, the new file is darker than what it looked like in photoshop. Is this normal? I have always worked around this by brightening the new file. This is just getting frusterating, I spend some time on a pic for it to only come out dark.

Feb 1, 2009i make animated cartoons, and i use photoshop to color the pictures. they look awesome until i put them into a video. in the video, the quality is horrible. for example if i fade a color in photoshop, once animated, it isnt a fading color anymore, it turns into a bunch of big pixels.
even if i use the animation part of photoshop, it comes out great, until i put it in a video.
the research i have done, really confuses me, although i am a terrific artist and all that (so im told) i dont know the "shop talk" of photoshop or anything. so i am just going to leave as much info as i can and hope that someone has an idea that may help me.
im using photoshop cs3 extended.
the pictures i load into ps to color are 1024x576
the resolution is 96
its RGB color 8bit
color profile is "adobe RGB (1998)"
these videos dont get published online, they are burned to dvd's.
when i save the pictures, i just save them as jpeg. thought i had seen somewhere where it said that you had to set the color for NTCS?

Sep 27, 2012I need to save my CS6 animation as an MPEG, but the only options i have are DPX, QT and H.264. Do I need to bring it into another program ? When i try to open the .mov in Imovie, the SHARE buttons are grayed out.

Basically I have an animation with several frames, now the concept changed that new pictures should be put in it. But currently I could do only one by one copying to each frame.
The first try was maybe add to the picture to a group which is a named object anyway anyway, but as I perceive that puts it only to the first frame.

Nov 19, 2011How do I create an 16 color effect, when saving my gif animation (save for web and devices) it has an option to lower the number of colors from 256. I normally use the 8 or 16 colors as it gives a great effect to .gif images.
what you get is a Gothic type washed out effect, when you lower the number of colors, when saving a .gif . The overall aim is to have a .gif that starts at 16 colors and at the end turns into 256 colors. How can I achieve this effect.

Feb 13, 2012I accidently forgot to open a new catalogue before editing my RAW files. Lightroom 3.6 allowed me to edit all my pictures but now I can't export any of them to save as JPEGs. Is there any way for me to export these pictures or do I have to start over from square one?

Maya :: 3D Animation - Files Not Saving
May 18, 2011I have been having a persistent problem with a project I am working on. The project is a 3d animation, the objects in which were made in Maya 2011. When I started animating things in 2012 it was all working fine, but then one day it stopped saving my edits on some files.
On these uneditable files the objects cannot be deleted, saying they are parented. If I move something, save, then reopen the object will be in its original position.
New files, all done the same way with 2012 on the same computers are editing fine, but I still need to adjust some things in these old ones. Is there a way I can unlock these scenes so I can edit them? It would be lovely if I didn't have to do those frames all over again.
When I save, no error messages come up. However loading the files gives the log quite a bit to say.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Saving Animation As WMV
Nov 25, 2013But why is it that I can only seem to save an animation in Inventor Studio (2014) as a .wmv (or Windows Media File)? Shouldn't I have the options for saving it as other types such as an .avi or the like?
I could have sworn I was able to in past releases. I should be able to save it as such, so where oh where is the setting that is dictating this?
Note: This animation is a cross section, not a shaded, realistic type with lighting and camera details to worry about.

Aug 1, 2011We're having issues saving and importing skin weights, and mirroring these weights on our character meshes because our characters have some geometry that has been combined into their mesh (like eyebrows, fake spikey hair, eyelashes, etc)
Maya seems to take the UV's for all the combined meshes and stack layer them into the 0-1 space in the UV editor. When we save skin weights for the main mesh, the weighting maps are all messed up and useless for importing because they are based on UV's that are supposed to be clean and dedicated only to the main mesh.

3ds Max Animation :: Errors Saving And Loading Biped Animations?
Feb 25, 2014I'm working on a project where I need to duplicate all animated sequences for both a male and female character. I currently have two biped rigged characters. I animate one, save the .bip animation file and then load into the other. I check the boxes for "Load max Objects" as I have some objects (like a glass of water) set as an IK pivot object. It loads those into the new scene along with the new pose, but the pose goes wrong, thought just with the arms (which are incidentally the only parts that have a seperate object as an IK pivot object.)
Here's a screenshot to show what I mean:
This incorrect animation happens whether the .bip animation file I save is loaded into the other character or loaded into the same character in it's original T-pose.
Maya Animation :: Joint Orientations Changed After Saving And Reopen

I've painstakingly oriented all the joints in my human ik skeleton and then saved the file out as a backup. When I reload the file and go to component mode to view the joint orientations they are all messed up again. I've gone through this process twice with the same results.
Photoshop :: Animation Frames Side By Side Saving
Dec 12, 2012I was wondering if there was any quick way to save each animation frame right next to each other in one large png in Photoshop CS6? For example, lets say I have an animation which has 10 frames, each frame being 100px x 100px, I want to be able to save the first frame in the first 100 x 100 enclosure of my canvas, the next frame in the next 100px, and so on and so on for the rest of the frames, resulting in a png which is 100px x 1000px at finish, having the first frame at the very left, and the final frame at the very right.At the moment I'm moving each frame individually to the right by 100,200,300px however I need to do this for over 400 animations with varying dimensions, so it's a bit time consuming and I feel that I might lose track and enter a value wrong at some point. Any other program that might achieve this in which I'm able to import Photoshop animations that can also work.

When I use save or save as, to save the edited picture both the edited and original appear in the files. If I start in in Photo Editor and save there is an option to uncheck that reads "Save in version set with Original" However I am more comfortable with beginning in Instant Fix and then switching to photo editor. For some reason when I go to save after switching from Instant fix to Photo editor the uncheck feature is no longer available. step by step instructions to save revised photo afterusing Instant Fix first then Photo Editor.

Maya Animation :: Unlock The Scaling Attribute In Walk Cycle Animation File?
Feb 17, 2011I have rigged a character and made it into a character set in which i have locked the scaling attribute , I have then saved this file. I have then referenced this file and and have done a walk cycle animation and saved this file. I have then realised that I needed the scaling attribute when I have added other parts of my scene. Is there a way to unlock the scaling attribute in my walk cycle animation file or will i have to go back and change it in the rigged file, create a new character set and do the walk cycle animation again?
