I am trying to give a background to a Div repeating it on the y direction.
I have been fighting to solve this and I wasn't able to do it ...
I created the image in Photoshop CS3 and exported as gif.
Using WD7 Tweaks,How do I create a 2048 background image Centered and no repeating? If i remember correctly, the tweak is placed over the corner of the background page
Which layer should the Tweak be placed? this code is working but makes the image forced right.or is the new way to copy the code and place in the: Placeholder>HTML code [head]

It would be great if there is a lisp file that” manages to give all the texts (dimension text, leader text, attributes, regular text, text in blocks, fields, etc.) a WHITE background. This is quite essential since the text should not be overlapped with other objects and must be read easily on the plan sends all text (dimension text, leader text, attributes, regular text, text in blocks, fields, etc.) to front.
I have created a linetype with the text GAS OPTION in it. The line is continuous with a break around the text. In a straight line the linetype works fine (breaks around the text etc). However, when I use a polyline and spline the line for a curved line the text aligns with the direction of the line at the start, but when the line bends, the text suddenly changes direction and reads in the opposite direction. It looks like AutoCAD is trying to keep the text upright rather than following the direction of the line. When the text changes direction it also changes its insertion point and overlaps the continuous part of the line. I have 2013 AutoCAD.
Here is the string I used for the linetype.

I have cut several sections at different points along a road alignment. The sections are cut facing the same direction as the alignmnet. Is there a way to reverse the section direction without changing the alignment direction?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a path with a smooth point. The two direction points form a direction line with any non-45-degree-angle - say 11.8 degrees. I want to drag one direction point while keeping the angle of exactly 11.8 degrees.
Is there a key combination for that (Mac OS)?
I have a drawing of a stone railing section and I have to change direction in the run direction of the baluster panel. View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get one image onto a new canvas 6 times, ie when I get a 5x7 print it will have 6 little pics, like passport pictures. How do I do this?
Apparently you can tile images or create a pattern and then paintbucket the blank canvas with it, or even create a custom paint and use the brush to fill in the canvas.
I tried the pattern generator, and it gave me crazy random patterns with little fragments of my source picture all over the place.
How do you repeat a design in a horizontal box? I want to draw a moulding, say of an egg and dart or dentil design without constantly repeating insertions.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a border of Christmas lights around a photo (see samlple image below). In opposite corners of the photo are hollies & berries and candycanes. Running down along the sides, and along the top and bottom, I would like to draw a "wire", and then add little lights to it. I already have the different-colored lights as separate files and just need to know if it is possible to "string" the lights along the wire without having to do it manually, creating a quick border. Learning how to do this will also assist me with other similar projects in the future.

In previous versions, you could hold down Alt while choosing an adjustment, such as Levels -- Instead of the default settings for the dialog, you would automatically get the same adjustment settings that were used the last time (as long as Photoshop had not been closed and reopened).
Can the same thing be done with the Adjustments panel -- click on an adjustment and get the last settings that were used? I tried the old Alt-Click shortcut and that didn't work.
I have an image of clouds, 300 width and 100px high, and i want this image to loop when it travels to the right
that is, when i copy the image, and put it on the left side of the one i copied it from, it would look like its one image.
the clouds must travel to the right, and the animation must be seamless.
I want to create a repeating, pixel art GIF animation. The basic idea is nyan cat swapped for a spaceship, in my usual video resolution. Now I made all the assets, and I thought I can use the star animation as a sub animation, so I can tell it to appear in random heights, move from right to left and start at a random frame, so I made a GIF just for that. But I fail to see any sort of controls that let me do what I was planned.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not quite a novice; I know how to handle photoshop decently, and can do basic work competently. I have an idea of what some but not all of the advanced stuff does, and got handy with automation from an earlier project. My brushwork still sucks, and I'm not very good at making shapes from scratch. Now, what I need help with isn't paid work; I volunteered for light projects, hoping it would expose some of my weaknesses, and force me to work on them. It worked; I'm confronting one of them now.
Here's my problem. I'm making a seal of approval, a kind of tongue-in-cheek project, for a guy who wants it for a forum where he makes mods for a computer game. Since he's a man who tinkers with the guts of the game, I wanted the outer edge of the circle to be blocks, instead of a blue-ribbon frill, so that it imitates the blue-ribbon look, but presents the image of a gear instead. How do I make a repetitive pattern on the outer rim of a circle, and make it pixel-perfect? There has to be a better way than using the info tab to position squares pixel-by-pixel, and rotating them to match the outer edge of the circle. I've been exploring features, and I can't seem to find anything suitable.
I could use a source image to get the shape for a gear, and use that to form a selection to fill, but I want to try and do this from scratch if it's at all possible. I could also put a block in the exact center, make seven copies, and rotate them in increments of 45 degrees, and hold shift as I move them to approximate positions that look close enough to perfect as makes no nevermind, but eight teeth on a gear that fills the entire image is not much; it might work, but I think there's a better way, and I don't think it'd look all that good.
I am trying to create an action that takes one image and repeats it on all four sides to make a square (we are picture framers and am trying to create image files of our frames from one picture of a piece of frame). I have managed to create the action to do this, but some of the frames are different widths and if I set the action to go on a smaller frame it doesnt push the image up to the edge of the canvas. It leaves a white space between the edge of the image and the edge of the canvas.
I tried to set the point of origin with co-ordinates in the transform mode when creating the action, to make sure that every image went where I wanted it to, but this hasnt worked.

I am making a fiction map. I want a fast way to drop down mountains and trees and any repeating landscape. I figured a good way to do this would be to draw said tree or mountains and then set it to a brush preset, add some size jitter and spacing.
It works well except for 1 problem. The brush drops down images that are vaguely transparent so when 1 mountain overlaps another, it creates an overlay that looks horrible. As if the brush is 50% opaque.
I use the histogram feature in PS to figure out how many square feet of yarn I will use in a rug that I am making (I work as a rug designer). I am running into a problem with this which is scary because my numbers have to be accurate.
As an example, I may have a 9x12 (inch--this is later blown up to feet using a transparency) drawing. In the drawing there may be 45 organic looking shapes that will be green. I use the magic wand tool and choose all of these green shapes. What I am noticing is that once I get to a certain number (not always consistent) in the histogram reading it will all of a sudden change to a different number and go to (for example) Cache 3. Because of this I have no idea if my histogram reading is accurate.
Is this some sort of memory issue? How do I prevent this from happening so that I can get an accurate heading?

I am trying to learn what has been done to the top photo to give the look of the bottom photo.Black suit looks navy, but not too much of the original photo is different. White seems brighter and blue seems bluer.
I tried using colour match in photoshop but it didn't look the same.
Can we interrupt actions in between and give input??
View 5 Replies View RelatedI shot a photo yesterday which has a reddish tint to it. This warm glow is very important to the image and I put a lot of work into getting it right. The image was shot as a DNG and manipulate in Photoshop, I saved it as a .psd for further manipulation or correction.
Now that I got it right I lowered the bits from 16 to 8 and saved the .psd as a .jpg and it looks great in photoshop, cant see the difference on my humble monitor. But when I open the same jpg file in another viewer like irfanview, that warm reddish glow is gone and there is slightly green cast over the picture which is totally wrong.
I tried it including the ICC and without, with save for web and save as jpg, always the same greenish tint which I don't see in photoshop.
How do I get a jpg with the same colors? I want to offer it as a print on redbubble.com, so I need a high quality JPEG with the right colors.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use Bridge as my main photo organisation app. I rate my shots from 1-5 stars and then tend to double click on ones to edit them in PS. After saving the edited shot as a jpg with "_edited" added to the filename, I apply a label which is called 'Enhanced' and then apply a 'Original' label to the original jpg. This lets me immediately filter of my edited/enhanced shots in Bridge and locate the originals if I need them. It also makes the edited files stand out when looked at in a file view of Explorer etc .
Is there an action or script I can create so that when I've finished editing a jpg it will take the original file name, add "_edited", save it as quality 10, baseline optimised, then apply the 'Optimised' label to the new file and exit the original jpg without saving but with applying the 'Original" label?
I've created a curved path and am having probs creating an even line using the Stroke Path tool. What I'm after is a line consisting of:
Long Line
Space
Short Line (roughly 1/3 length of long line)
Space
Long Line
( ______ __ ______ )
But that is all I want to see, regardless of the distance between the start and end points. I use this a lot for laying out joists.
I know I could make a dynamic block of it, but that would mean streaching every line between the two points.
This happened in the middle of dimensioning A drawing. Was adding tolerance and some text to some dimensions which usually looks like this.
1.500±.001" Turn Runner
But all of a sudden it started to look like this.
1.500" Turn Runner±.001" Turn Runner
Everything in the dim suffix field is repeated twice and I don't know why.
No variables were changed...I literally did one dimension that came out normally and the next one did this.
Now all dimensions do this. There is a single dimstyle with no daughter styles.
I currently use a full version of AutoCAD 2009. One thing I was able to do previously was repeat break at point by right-clicking and selecting the repeat function.
Now when I try to do that in AuctoCAD 2009, the repeat function will result with just a plain break instead of a break at point.
My question is, how do i get this functionality back so that I can repeat break at point as many times as I need to? I use this command many times back to back and hate having to go click on the button from the ribbon menu.
I have placedmy own Origin in the center of the screen. I am constantly using construction lines from this origin using the offset command with various offset lengths. What I am trying to achieve is to enter a numeric value and press enter on a continuous cycle. Without Selecting construction line, Offset, Distance, Select Line, Select side. I have tried using Macro and CUI in the manage tab without success. I understand the concept, but lack the knowledge to succeed. I have a nose bleed from continuously hitting a wall.

I've set up an action that will add crop marks to a selected object. The action works great when clicking the play button on the panel, but when I assign a Function Key to the action, it runs the action twice (giving me 2 set of crop marks). I've tried different Function Keys thinking it was a keyboard shortcut conflict, but that has made no difference.
