I built op my catalog, creating events, tagging people etc. Now I would like my girlfriend to also use this catalog. (I can build up a new catalog but then I lose all the events, tags etc).
I put the pictures and catalog in a shared directory but I can't find a way to make Photoshop use my catalog when I go to my girls friend's account. How can I do this?

Sep 6, 2013Right now, as far as I can tell, the address book is a totally independent list that does not read from your address book, doesn’t automatically remember addresses you send emails to, and has no provision for synching to any other address list.

Sep 8, 2012When the IP address of one of my scanners was changed (due to power outage), two listings of the scanner now show up as separate devices with the same name in the PSE9 WIA list - one of these with the old obsolete IP address. The same device is also listed with the new address and it works. How to I delete the WIA listing with the old IP address?
Only one entry with the IP address for this HP printer/scanner shows up in the Windows 7 list of printers. So this WIA list is a remanent of the past. How do I get rid of it?

Nov 24, 2012Everytime I try to run the program I get an error message saying "Attempt to access invalid address". I am using Windows 7 64bit.
I have unistalled and reinstalled PSE5.02
Unistalled Google Chrome
Set antivirus to silent/gaming mode
Ran as administrator
Ran in compatitibly mode, Windows XP service pack2
I really need this working, I need to use it for a project thats due Monday!!

Aug 28, 2013I have in excess of 64,000 photos catalogued in Photoshop Elements 11 stored on a NAS drive in various folders such as: \10..253.20.37photo2013USA, \10.253.20.37photo2012Canada . The problem is that I have recently changed ISP & the internal IP address of the NAS drive has changed to \192.168.1.78 consequently the ‘location’ of files stored in the catalogue is now incorrect. I wondered whether I could do some form of update on the catalogue database file to replace 10.253.20.37 with 192.168.1.78.

Nov 5, 2012I am trying to restore my catalog into a brand new iMac with Mountain Lion and max memory.
I have created the backup several times, reconnecting all pictures and writing the tag info to the pictures.
After the restore. All the pictures are present and the category info on them seems correct ( properties and icons on the thumbnails ).
The catalog shows all the categories and sub-categories but selecting a category just gets the message that np pictures match the category.
If I try reconnect it says it's not required.
I've tried 4 times and I'm assuming it should work.

I installed another 8 gb of ram but PSE fails to recognise the extra ram so I can only get it to use 3gb. If I reinstall will it recognise all my ram? Will I still have all my photos on the organizer?
