May 20, 2012What good is the email function in Lightroom 4? It doesn't access the address book on my Mac. You expect me to import my email addresses one at a time?

Lightroom :: Add Functionality To Address Book To Email Photos In 5?
Sep 6, 2013Right now, as far as I can tell, the address book is a totally independent list that does not read from your address book, doesn’t automatically remember addresses you send emails to, and has no provision for synching to any other address list.
Any plans to change this unbelievable deficienty?

Jan 28, 2013I am making a small square book in the book module. The book only has 40 pages and therefore the spine is pretty narrow. In the cover template, the spine does show up but I am unable to click into it, where normally on other books, a yellow box appears to input the text.
I wonder if this is not happening because the spine may be too small for text. Although I did make the text in Photoshop and added it to the cover as a Background graphic. The two issues with that is that it takes much too long to tweak it, and since it's JPEG file, I am sure it won't be as sharp as text typed into LR directly. I will be making several books this size and I would prefer having it be simple and just within LightRoom

Apr 28, 2013I have made a book in the book module and was really looking forward to send it to Blurb for printing. I push the "Send book to Blurb... " button but nothing happens. I have tried to export to PDF and JPEG aswell, but nothing. I am Connected to internet, I have an account at Blurb but no reaction. Are there any settings I have missed or are there any bugs that prevents me from exporting? Do Blurb ship to Norway or is that the problem?

Feb 25, 2014I am in the process of making a photobook using Lightroom and discovered when I reached page 240 that I couldn't add any additional pages, much to my surprise. I was surprised because I knew from Blurb's website that the limit for standard paper is 440 pages and mistakenly assumed that this limit would also apply within Lightroom. I did more research online and found many others being surprised by this limitation after spending hours and days on a photo book. I will likely work around this by exporting from Lightroom to .jpg and uploading to Blurb, but that will take extra time and effort and reduces the appeal of using Lightroom to create a Blurb book. I had also tried exporting from Lightroom to .pdf only to find that the .pdf format exported by Lightroom is not compatible with the requirements of Blurb.

It renders the pages and then having rendered the cover gets stuck, about 50% to 60% through the process. None of the photographs are starred or colour coded. Feb 14, 2014I purchased Lightroom 5 and am creating a photo book through Blurb. I accidently erased 38 pages, so after I re-created them, I clicked on Create Saved Book, which put it in Collections. Now I am trying to work on the book again, and can open it, but when I go to the Library of photos, Lightroom automatically repopulates a new book with all the photos in that file and won't let me put them in the book I saved. Dec 20, 2012Per this screen shot, I am unable to view or access the filter gallery and I would very much like to. The history portion of the screen shot shows my workflow.
First I opened an image and then opened a Curves adjustment layer. Because I only wanted to change the luminosity values, I then changed the Blending Mode from Normal to "Luminosity". Then I made a minor Curves adjustment, followed by forming a new layer via copy of my original background layer.
At that time, I was unable to access the filter gallery. I therefore converted that layer I had just created into a smart object but, as the screen shot demonstrates, am still unable to access the filter gallery.
I am running CS6 on a Mac and I am working in Adobe RGB image mode, 16 bit.
