I'm on Win XP Home Edition, HP laptop. I don't think I've installed any new fonts or anything...
When I want to use the healing brush in Elements 9, having alt clicked to take a sample to brush over an object I want to remove, the brush samples continuously as I brush despite the Alligned check box being unticked. How can I get the brush to just use the original sample rather than going on sampling?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to get a planet to just spin continuously around - which I can do with a timeline animation - unfortunately the animation starts slowly at the beginning and slows down at the end - even if I loop it.
How do you get it to smoothly rotate forever without speeding up and slowing down. Someone mentioned using the graph editor - but as I said I am new to this.
Is there a tutorial for this sort of thing. I have done a lot of googling without any success.
I'm just starting out trying to make a plugin for Illustrator CC and have been a bit stuck the past few days, so I have a few questions. The plugin I'm trying to make would have it where when you mouse over a path, an annotation pops up to display the length of the path, reguardless of what tool you have selected.Â

The major question I have is if it is possible to make a plugin that runs in the background without having to select it as a tool?

I've been going over the SDK and guides and have tried altering the annotator sample project along with trying to make it from scratch, but I haven't gotten the results I want. I got Annotator to display the length of paths, but I can't remove it's tool properties or make it run like it's always selected. When I've been tryng to build from scratch, I don't see how to track the cursor since it seems to need the AIToolSuite. I've also tried to use AINotifierSuite with kAIArtSelectionChangedNotifier, but haven't gotten it to work correctly and it wouldn't work just by mousing over paths if I had.

How come some AI Files I use in a comp, that has the continuosly raterize option checked, becomes soft when the 3d layer option is also checked?

The AI object looks slightly unsharp until I click continuously raterize, then it is good to go to scale anyway I want. But it get blurry again if I click the 3D Layer option.

Note that this blurring takes place whether there is a camera or not in the composition and that nothing is animated so it can't be a motion blur issue.
In my office of about 30 computers and over the course of about 10-12 months we have been experiencing a problem with project navigator. When opening ACAD or changing projects about 60% of the time it gets hung up and the load bar perpetually loads over and over again. If just left to run it takes 5-10 mins to load the project then ACAD will crash after a couple of commands. If opening the task manager and ending the program it will often freeze the computer for about 5-10 mins as well.Â
  We have been actively using the project navigator for years and not until the last yr have we been having this problem. We bought pretty much the whole office new computers a few months ago and the problem still exists. We are running AutoCAD Architecture 2012 and our machines are window 7, intel core i7 3.5 GHz, 8 GB ram, 64 bit operating systems, with a Nvidia Quadro 2000 graphics card. So our machines are solid.
I am using LR 4.3 with Photoshop CS5. I have found that after editing a picture in photoshop (transfer from CR2 to .TIFF file) it correctly transfers back into LR as an updated .TIFF file with all edits from PS. However, on further editing of the picture in LR the image is refreshed after EACH edit (ie. file reloads into LR taking a few seconds). If I am trying to apply an edit as the refresh starts then that edit gets lost i.e. NOT applied. The refresh happends after ANY change to the file. It is very frustrating as it wastes time and makes editing slow (have to keep waiting for a refresh). It does not appear to happen in that way when editing CR2 files.

I have only noticed this feature since installing V4.3 although it may have been happening in previous versions.

I am using W7, i5 2.5 Ghz processor and 8 GB ram with dual screens.
I have a continuously moving looping slide show that has back and next buttons. When you press the next button it should move forward one where ever it is on the timeline every time you click it and the same for the back button.

This is the code I am using but the the problem is that it goes to else {sym.play("one");} when the button is clicked. No matter where in the timeline the next button is clicked, it goes back to number one. I don't know much about coding and I have tried everything to fix this but I am stuck.

I have a problem with polar tracking.Previously it was possible to hover over a point, then define the tracking direction and then specifying the distance. In 2013, the polar and object snap tracking path go away / ends when typing the desired tracking distance. Then the tracking direction has to be defined afterwords, which is new to me.That means that its not possible to define multiple distances continuously AFTER defining the tracking direction.

I am rather beside myself, I have an iMac running 10.6.8 with 4GB of memory. I would love to copy and paste the crash report but it's not letting me do that.

I've been running CS5 on my Win 7 64 bit Asus laptop for 6 months without an issue. All of a sudden CS5 has started to crash when I run Photomerge, view the System Info, etc.

I've tried reinstalling CS2, reparing premissions and a new user account.

The issue can occur when opening the program, opening a file or doing nearly any action when a file is open. No specific file seems to be causing it, sometimes it will run without a problem for an entire day and other it's constantly crashing.

I downloaded the Photoshop CC/LR5 combo a few days ago, and since then the programs have been crashing my PC. (I've attached a screenshot.) This has happened at least 8 times, twice already this morning. Before I upgraded, I was using CS3 and LR4 and never had this issue.

at first i didn't know what was causing it, but after it happen over 20 times while scaling an image (dragging by the corner) i am sure it is due to photoshop.

As soon as I open a photo an resize it, the most basic function that I can think of for this product... it crashes I have run updates, I have looked through all of the forums here etc Nothing that relates to me or that has worked so far.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just joined Creative Cloud. I uninstalled my trial versions of CS6 (which were working just fine) and then installed CC versions of them. After Effects CC is working great. Photoshop CC, however, keeps on quitting the moment I try do something like apply an effect or resize the image. I'm not get a crash report from the Adobe Crash Reporter so here's the Apple crash report. I'm running 10.8.4 on a mid-2012 MacBook Pro '13 i5.

I open say a blank canvas 20x20 then open a photo I wish to transfer onto it.  On the photo create a background copy and select the move tool, once the photo is on the canvas I then select the resize tool to make the photo small on the work area and then everytime is stops working and say a fault has occured photoshop will now close?
I have been having a lot of crashes lately at seemingly random times. I could be changing the opacity of a layer and it crashes, using puppet warp and it crashes, using free transform, so it doesn't seem to be a particular feature that is crashing it. Every time I use the type tool, the crop tool and HDR merge the app crashes, i'm currently using the trial version and this is not encouraging me to buy the upgrade from CS4 which i'm very happy with and never have these sort of problems.

Then, I scanning a document. Everything worked fine. Today, I downloaded and ran the Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 update, and now Photoshop won't stay running. I ran the app and tried to scan a document. It crashed before the document could scan. I ran the app again, this time naviating to a file, but it crashed before the file opened.

I have tried removing all traces of it including in the registry and a full uninstall and re-install, but it still will not run.
I tried a system restore to 4 days, and 1 week, and 9 days before prior to when it started crashing, and it still fails to open up.

I have an Intel premium 4 Processor.
I just downloaded the CS4 free trial, but as soon as I open an image, I get an error and the program closes. I called tech support, and they sent me here.
The exact message says (as soon as Photoshop opens "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Check the video card manufacturer's website for the latest software."
Then, as soon as I open an image, I get another error message and the whole program closes. Does anyone know how I should proceed? Do I need to download everything all over again?
