View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm putting together a series of images, and I want the horizon line to be a constant from image to image, though they were not that way in the original files. I'm assuming that I should go with the picture that has the smallest distance from the bottom of the picture and then crop the others so the distance appears to be the same in them as well. But is there a way to make that a simple process?

But the issue is when you select the crop tool and enter a custom constraint and crop
The image size is sometimes a full 2 inches off of what you set as a crop?! I havn't run into this before
[I do know you can use the drop down box and use {size and resolution} but I want to know why it doesnt work under custom and unconstrained]
Photoshop Crop won't complete when trying to crop an image. This just started a couple of days ago and I can't figure out what's going on with it. This happens in Photoshop CS6 and CC
View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen I select the crop tool, my image disappears during the entire crop process. I can only see the image in the preview pane. Why is this happening? I am using the most current version of Lightroom, and I am on a PC.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden, when I try to use Liquify in CS6, I get the following warning:
"Liquify is capable of utilizing the Graphics Processor on RGB files to increase performance. The color mode you have chosen will not utilize the Graphics Processor."
If I click OK and continue, the image is just blank inside Liquify. It used to work just fine. I am in ProPhotoRGB colour space.
CS 6 raw conversions of Nikon Raw files, it makes a blank thumbnail with only the image file name, it does not do this in CS 5.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am wondering how to resize an image using the points around the image when it is on a blank file. (I have multiple pictures on a page I've created - for a scrapbook) Currently, when I use the middle points on an image, it stretches the picture and distorts it. How do I get it so that when I use these points it doesn't stretch the image, but crops it to a different size. (And by doing this, parts of the image is lost, but thats ok)
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open an image in Photoshop CC 64-bit on my Dell XPS 15 L501x laptop with nVidia 420M GPU selected as graphics processor, the image is blank. If I go to the performance preferences and untick "Use Graphics Processor" the images are shown correctly after closing and reopening image (the same issue occurs with Basic, Normal and Advanced drawing mode selected).
I assume that Photoshop will run slower not using the graphics processor, so would like to sort it so I can use it to improve performance. If I remember correctly, on the trial version of CS5.1 on the same laptop, I just disabled OpenGL and the images were displayed fine. Is there any way to just disable OpenGL in Photoshop CC 64-bit (or resolve this another way)?
resize this image into a resolution of 1280x768 (height = 1280px, width = 768px) and keep the blank background. I know the original 'X' is in a square shape so I'm unsure if it can be put into this vertical rectangle shape. I want the four coloured bars to continue into each of the corners and also do another copy with a sort of glossy reflective look applied to the colours if possible. Maybe also as the image is being enlarged, make the bars slightly wider so they don't look long and skinny

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to crop an image & CS4 all of a sudden isn't cropping the image. It completely disappears when I go through the process. Here's the process I have been using & always works until now.
1. Open the image
2. Select the crop tool
3. click & drag to cover the area I want to keep, while the area I want to crop is shaded black
4. hit "Enter"
5. the image is cropped.
Ok, now what's happening is when I hit Enter (step 5) the image completely disappears off the screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got a million years experience with PS, PSP, various CAD programs. This is actually more of a drafting project but that shouldn't matter. I've got separate layers for certain guides and lines and text and that's about it. So I need to send something out for review.
Export or Save As as [ANYTHING], pdf, png, jpg, 'web,' even tried swf, creates a correct -size- image, but the only -content- is the one -last- -layer- that I created which happened to be text.
So just for fun I deleted that last layer and now it exports a blank image of the correct size.
I tried specifically Selecing the items I want exported, result = same blank image.
I don't see any 'flatten' type function as in PS that might crunch everything down to one layer.
I've aparently got something either enabled or disabled that tells it to 'draw nothing.'
I don't see any facility here to include an ai file with this Q. I could put it up somewhere else but I rather doubt they'll allow a '*.ai' so would have to go through the renaming stuff both upload and download. And if they have an 'file inspector' of any kind it'll be disallowed anyway.
ill be working on a project for about an hour and ill pres enter after moving it and it will just crop out the middle of the image? even if i dont press save, it will reopen and still be gone. it also effects not just the image i was working on but some of my other projects from photoshop im doing.
View 20 Replies View Relatedgetting the image in this[URL]....link. I just need the air freshener symbol in the middle, the blue tree. I have been able to kind of get it seperated from the background but it always ends up being a little blurry or fuzzy on the sides. I really need it to be crisp and smooth like it is in blue.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've got a 3008X2000 (this is the largest file size that my camera shoots and that's what I mostly shoot in) image and I would like to crop at 10w by 8h for 8x10 prints. When I select the crop tool and put in my values of 10w and 8h and 200 or 300 pixels/inch, I am only able to crop most of the 10w, the 8h seems to be fine. I've tried cropping using the same method in 6w by 4h and this crops just fine. Why am I able to crop 6x4 but not 10x8.
It doesn't do this with just this resolution (3008X2000) setting, I'm only able to crop most of the 10 inch width in all of my images.
I would think that when I crop using the values 10w X 8h that I would be able to crop all of the image and when I crop using the 6w X 4h setting I wouldn't be able to get everything.
Can you draw an accurate crop line using the pen tool.
View 2 Replies View Related- how can i alter how close it crops the canvas? at the moment it crops right up to the image, i need to to crop leaving a 1mm gap arround the image.
is this possible?
From time to time and more than bearable as all the published pictures need to be manually checked to detect if the probleme occured, LR5 publish a picture with only the watermark applied and not the picture ! Which results in the watermark on a white background as below.
