it should be two screen modes gray and another two with black backround .

Mar 17, 2014I am working on a 2-color newsletter in Indesign CS5... black and Pantone 227U.
Whenever I place a duotone .eps (black + 227U) or an Illustrator vector .eps with 227U in it, the color mode for that swatch changes to CMYK. An Illustrator vector which is 100% 227U also gives me the same issue.

Photoshop :: Document With CMYK Colour Mode
Aug 30, 2011I've only ever created graphics for the screen, now I'm trying to create something for print.I started a Photoshop document with a CMYK colour mode and soon discovered it would only let me choose colours that look murky on screen.
I've been all over the internet to read about CMYK vs RGB etc and I've seen things to suggest that printers can't print the vibrant colours we see on screen. Fine, but what about the magazine I have next to me where I can see beautiful vibrant turquoises and fushias? How did THOSE colours get on to the paper?
If a CMYK colour looks murky on screen will it look more vibrant when printed?

In CS3, at the bottom of the tool bar, is a tool "screen mode" that lets me open a file that doesn't fill the screen so that I can put two or more small files (images) on a new blank file. I have not been able to do that in CS5. I do not know how to show two (or more) files at one time in CS5.1.

Oct 25, 2008I have recently upgraded from CS3 to CS4 and have a slight problem with standard screen mode.
When I open an image in standard screen mode the image does not fill the screen and the amount of screen the image fills depends on the percentage magnification.
I have to drag the image with the cursor to fill the screen.
When I open a new image the same thing happens, it reverts back to partially filling the screen.
This only occurs in standard screen mode, the other two modes seem to be ok.
I have a mac pro, os 10.5.5, 8gb ram

GIMP :: Changes Colour When Switching To Index Mode
Oct 28, 2011I have been using indexed mode to save 8-bit png files for the web, just as one would through the Save For Web interface in photoshop. sometimes it works brilliantly, usually when very few colors. but sometimes it changes some of the most dominant colors in the image. for example, if i make an image with background in #f3f3f3, two antialiased type layers in different colors, flatten the image and switch to indexed mode the background will change to something like f3f201 or whatever depending on the colors of the type layers (even if i choose 256 colors...).
EDIT: ok those exact instructions didn't actually replicate the problem this time that i tried it, but nonetheless the problem exists. if no one recognises it i will save the file it occurs to next time so you can all replicate the problem.
EDIT 2: happened immediately. i have attached a png of the file, even if you set it to 256 colors, switching to indexed mode will change the white background to #fefffc. once again, one could go into the color map and change it back to pure white, but to be completely correct one needs to change every color in the shadows (and antialiasing) that fade into the white, which will also have been offset by the switch to indexed mode.

From here, whatever window I open, ie my browser, explorer, etc, photoshop pops up in the background minus all the menu bars. Oct 11, 2012I am trying to stack a number of TIFF images. When I start the process, I cannot minimise the window or hot key into any other. I can get to other processes via the Start button but once up, they stay up unless I load something else on top of them. Left to itself, it can stay like this for several hours. ...actually, I just changed the objects layer to a differrent colour which seems to have made Illustator select the next colour down when in Isolation made.

I'm in Full Screen Mode 95% of the time and 100% when I'm retouching.After the most recent update OpenGL funtions will become disabled when I go to Full Screen Mode. This is very annoying! My MBP is connected to a 30in Dell Ultra.

Photoshop :: Image Won't Stay Still In Full Screen Mode
Aug 31, 2012In CS6, full screen mode, the image keeps moving up, down or to the side if my cursor gets too close to the edge of the screen. sometimes I'm not even at the edge of the screen but in the middle of the screen, I move the cursor right, the document goes to the left. In the old days the window stayed put unless you used the handtool to move it around. Is it possible to go back to this mode?

Until now I have ignored this but I really want to start making the most of my screen space. I don't understand how people can go into full screen mode without tabs of their open documents. It makes the experience completely useless to me and I can't believe I can't find any solutions online. I feel like I am overlooking a simple button somewhere on the screen thinking "surely Adobe would include this!?"

Jan 5, 2009For some reason the 'Full Screen Mode with Menu Bar' option has a blue background now. The background used to be gray, and then one time i opened up Photoshop and now the background is blue. It is very annoying and affects my painting. The grey was neutral, now it is blue so my colors are going to appear off.
If you don't know what i mean: Open Photoshop, make a canvas (new image) Hit the key "F" on your keyboard 2 times so the canvas takes up the entire page but the menu bars are still up. The color around the canvas is Blue, when it has ALWAYS been gray.
