View 1 RepliesI have CS5 installed on a desktop computer that crashed and I can't get it working to deactivate CS5. I am going to purchase a new desktop and would like to install CS5 on the new computer, but it was already installed on two computers (desktop and laptop) so no activations are left. I have the Disk and serial number.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIt will not install because it is looking for a prior PS. This is an older computer and I need PS5 to run Kai's power tools.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI purchased CS4 via a download and installed it on my laptop. I now want to install it on my desktop at home in the US, but I'm puzzled as to how best to go about doing this because I only have some files on my laptop from the original download purchase. I do not have any installation disks to install CS4 on my desktop. How do I go about installing it onto my desktop?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have CS2 installed on my main workstation, but now I have a laptop and it would be great to have it installed there as well. I've tried customer support but I don't have that many hours to wait on the phone. Is there a way I can get an additional license and download for CS2 for my laptop?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just installed PS-CC and LR5 on a new computer after a catastrophic failure on the old one, which was running PS-CS6 and LR4. Is there a way to recover my custom settings and presets from a full backup of the old computer and apply them to the new applications on the replacement computer? I have full backups, but no export data for any of the settings or presets. And because the old computer is dead, I can't just run an export.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just bought PSP X3 and am unable to install it. The autorun window opens, but I can rarely make it past the licencing agreement, sometimes to the serial number entry, before everything comes to a complete standstill and I have to restart my computer. I've tried installing it under a different user with no luck.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new Mac with Mountain Lion, and I'm trying to migrate my software from the older Snow Leopard computer. Nothing worked using Migration Assistant, so I reformatted to start clean, and tried installing everything directly from disk. Everything from CS 5 seems to install OK except Illustrator. I've tried four times now and itfails every time. This is the same disk I used to install it onto the Snow Leopard computer. I don't see any scratches or any physical damage to the disk, and it's been sitting safely unused for a couple of years, anyway. What's wrong with Illustrator and Mountain Lion? If it's just some quirk with my disk, is there any way I can download Illustrator CS5 from somewhere else and install it with my own registration/installation code?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to decide whether it is worth keeping up with the C3D releases every year. One thing I wanted to try was to see if 2014 worked any better on the key things I need, but I don't want to stuff up my 2013 installation. know if I can do a separate install safely?

Just installed X6 on a computer everything was working well then I installed the latest hotfix now all I get is a blank error window (no text a red circle with an X on it and an OK button.
It never finishes loading. Has not since installing the hotfix.I tried repairing the install, dumping temp files, F8 on start and none of them made any difference.
Is this supported by Autodesk, and will installing both products create any issues?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have CS2 Premium which I'm running on an older PowerPC Mac (G5 - Dual 2.3 GHz ) running OS 10.4.11. I've had this setup for many many years (registered/activated with Adobe) but suddenly one day I could no longer launch my Photoshop app: when I clicked on the Pshop icon it would start the launch (open) procedure ... and then almost instantly it would quit (in just a few seconds ... before the application even got to the 'title/credit' screen).
Â
I've recently tried uninstalling CS2 (everything except Acrobat) and I ended up doing a manual uninstall of Version Cue. I've been on Macs for 20+ years so figured this would be a pretty straightforward procedure - uninstall -> reinstall and then back to work. Nope.
Â
I'm attempting a fresh installation direct from the original CS2 CDs. In any event, when I try to (re)install CS2 - and after going through the standard screens with Adobe's usage terms agreement and installation hard disk selection -Â I arrive at the screen where one selects which application(s) to install by checking the various boxes (or alternately, to install the entire suite) but the 'Adobe Photoshop CS2/Adobe ImageReady CS2' line and checkbox are grayed out, so it will not allow me to check them and continue with the Photoshop installation process.
I started a new computer with LR5, and it runs fine. But, when I imported my pics from a previous computer running LR4, all the pics loaded into the new LR without any tags or processing. How can I get that info without having ot reprocess thousands of pictures?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Master Collection CS5.5 with all the latest patches on an iMac 27" (mid 2010) with 16 GB Ram, 2.93 GHz Core i7. When I worked in Photoshop, always after 2-4 minutes I got immediately a blank screen and the iMac was powered off. Someone in the thread said, that's always if you work with a resolution of 300 dpi. I remembered, that this was the first time, I used 300dpi, because normally I work only with 72 to 150 dpi. So I opened a new file with 150dpi and I could do the whole work WITHOUT crashes!
Â
I also think that this is normally a memory problem with bad RAM, but WHY is it only triggered with 300dpi? I will do a Test also with 400dpi so I know, I can only work to 299 dpi, or I can only NOT wort WITH 300dpi.
I have exhausted the disk space on my MacBook Pro and need to purchase a model with more space.  Can I move my CS6 to the new computer, and if so, how should I do so?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like to uninstall PS CS4 on the same computer and keep the third party plugins in filters and goodies as well as my scanner twain without having to reinstall them. I seem to be having a problem with PS on my desktop but not on my laptop. Is that possible and if so how can I do it?Â
View 2 Replies View RelatedI’m going to be getting a new computer soon and was wondering about how to change over my Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 to the new computer. In the past, when upgrading to a new computer, I could deactivate Photoshop through the help menu. Photoshop CC no longer shows that option, and since only two copies are allowed at once, I’m at a loss as to how to retire the copy I have now and switch the account to the new computer in such a way that Adobe can verify I have done so. I also have both Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 on another computer.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI need to move my CS4 suite to my new Mac (from an older Mac) and I can't for the life of me figure out how I can do this without the original discs. I've tried simply moving the files over on a drive and then activating with my serial number, but apparently I'm missing some files from my old machine.
Â
I can't find any downloads of old trial versions to use and the subsequently authorize with my serial number.
How can I transfer PsCS6 from my old computer to the new one?
