View 1 RepliesI have CS5 installed on a desktop computer that crashed and I can't get it working to deactivate CS5. I am going to purchase a new desktop and would like to install CS5 on the new computer, but it was already installed on two computers (desktop and laptop) so no activations are left. I have the Disk and serial number.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIt will not install because it is looking for a prior PS. This is an older computer and I need PS5 to run Kai's power tools.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased CS4 via a download and installed it on my laptop. I now want to install it on my desktop at home in the US, but I'm puzzled as to how best to go about doing this because I only have some files on my laptop from the original download purchase. I do not have any installation disks to install CS4 on my desktop. How do I go about installing it onto my desktop?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have CS2 installed on my main workstation, but now I have a laptop and it would be great to have it installed there as well. I've tried customer support but I don't have that many hours to wait on the phone. Is there a way I can get an additional license and download for CS2 for my laptop?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just installed PS-CC and LR5 on a new computer after a catastrophic failure on the old one, which was running PS-CS6 and LR4. Is there a way to recover my custom settings and presets from a full backup of the old computer and apply them to the new applications on the replacement computer? I have full backups, but no export data for any of the settings or presets. And because the old computer is dead, I can't just run an export.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just bought PSP X3 and am unable to install it. The autorun window opens, but I can rarely make it past the licencing agreement, sometimes to the serial number entry, before everything comes to a complete standstill and I have to restart my computer. I've tried installing it under a different user with no luck.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just bought a new Mac with Mountain Lion, and I'm trying to migrate my software from the older Snow Leopard computer. Nothing worked using Migration Assistant, so I reformatted to start clean, and tried installing everything directly from disk. Everything from CS 5 seems to install OK except Illustrator. I've tried four times now and itfails every time. This is the same disk I used to install it onto the Snow Leopard computer. I don't see any scratches or any physical damage to the disk, and it's been sitting safely unused for a couple of years, anyway. What's wrong with Illustrator and Mountain Lion? If it's just some quirk with my disk, is there any way I can download Illustrator CS5 from somewhere else and install it with my own registration/installation code?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a new computer with PsCC installed. Unfortunately, I have to have my hard drives reformatted and Windows 8 reinstalled, so I have to reinstall PsCC on this same computer. Do I simply sign in, download and install PsCC and Bridge again when my computer is ready? Will Adobe count it as a second installation or do I need to deactivate PsCC before I reinstall it on the same machine?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a genuine Photoshop CS5 I bought for my old, not used,Windows7 64bit computer. Can aI get a transfer of my CS5 onto my new iMac computer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently installed and then updated Photoshop CS6 Extended - "About" says Version 13.0.1 x32.

Sometimes Photoshop comes up and I can use it, but then I get a Windows XP error"bark," with no error message or error dialog. Once that happens I can no longer open or edit or save images. Other times it will not completely start up.
Â
The "universal" Microsoft Windows "fix," a re-boot of the computer makes the problem go away, until it happens again. I have made sure that there are no errors in the registry with Norton Utilities. Windows XP is up to date.
Â
Is there an error log someplace that Photoshop issues? All other apps on the computer seem to work fine.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have photoshop 7 which I have used for years. My computer died (windows XP) and I had to buy a new one with windows 8 . I have re installed Photoshop 7 and now when I click on the Photoshop icon it begins to load then halfway through I get a message that says "You currently have Adobe Photoshop's primary scratch and windows primary paging file on the same volume which can result in reduced performance. It is recommended that you set Adobe Photoshop's primary scratch volume to be on a different volume, preferably on a different physical drive" The only option here is to press "OK" then it automaticly closes.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've read that there's a definite way to install CS2 (or any 32 bit version of PS) on Windows 7 64 bit successfully with some folder code "C:progra~2adobe" or C: program~2adobe...or the same code but with the backslashes in the opposite direction like /.
Â
why does the first code say "program" and leave off the "m" and other say to spell out "program" entirely? WHICH is correct "program" or "program" and which way should the slashes go? I saw a member named Marian Driscoll post about this install but don't understand how to do it each step of the way.I need a new PC and was thinking I would be forced to get a used Windows XP machine to use CS2 but would prefer to get Windows 7 64 bit but won't unless I can install PS CS2 on it successfully.

How to do this at all so needd install procedure in specific clear steps from inserting the CD to the end?
I recently have reformated my machine and installed XP SP3
sadly now, I can't install Photoshop CS3, when I double-click on Setup.exe, it show me a small bar/dialog which tells me it's extracting files, but after that, NOTHING HAPPENS
I left it for an hour, and again, nothing happens. I checked my Task Manager and I found that Setup.exe and Msiexec.exe are running but with completely 0% of system resource.
I really need Photoshop CS3 for my work.
I'm trying to decide whether it is worth keeping up with the C3D releases every year. One thing I wanted to try was to see if 2014 worked any better on the key things I need, but I don't want to stuff up my 2013 installation. know if I can do a separate install safely?

I originally installed my CS5 on a computer running Windows Vista & it worked great. I just got a new computer running Windows 7, installed my Adobe Photoshop Elements & CS5 on it, but now it doesn't work properly. When I click on the right hand triangle at the bottom of any of the tools, it doesn't open to show the different tools like it used to.
