I want to know that we can't put out any object from new blank sheet? like illustrator and coral draw..
we are running a advertising company Buzzooka Infomedia and we often use photoshop for make designs and website templetes so we face inconvenience without this feature in photoshop

Whenever I try to text on either a blank sheet or over a picture the text looks blurred/ pixalated and no matter what size I choose it comes out small.

I have a user who opens his drawings from 2012 in 2013 and they show the sheet set manager blank. He goes back to the 2012 seat and the sheet set manager displays the dwgs.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I installed autocad architecture 2012 I have this problem. When I drag a view from the project navigator in a sheet I see the content and the option to set a scale. So far so good. When I click in the sheet to set the location the viewport goes empty. I can stretch the viewport to top left to get the drawing within range and then move it back to where I want to place the drawing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running CAD Map 3D 2011 and a Windows XP SP3 machine with 4GB RAM and a 128 MB 3D card. I am trying to send the plot to a HP Designjet 800PS plotter.
The file that I am working on is not overly large and has no raster images or OLE objects attached. It does have several open database connections that I am using to theme one of my drawing layers. The sheet itself is an odd size (36" x 54"), but I have printed other drawings of this size before and I've never had problems.
When I first plotted the sheet, it was taking forever to spool, so I ended up canceling the print several times. I finally decided to try to plot to PDF, but this created a HUGE spool file (2.65 GB). Since it was actually spooling, I went ahead and let it run. It ended up taking about an hour to spool and print the PDF. Before I opened the PDF, I checked the size and found it to be about 12 Mb. When I opened it, all that was there was a blank sheet. After that, I re-sent the plot to the HP plotter and just let it work overnight. When I got in this morning, there was a 36" x 54" blank sheet waiting for me.
I've checked the basic settings and none of the layers are frozen, off, or set to not print. I also increased by page file size to work with the plot, but that does not seem to have had any effect. I've tried creating several different .pc3 files, but the issue has stayed. I am now trying to have another person open the file and print it from a different workstation, but so far no luck.
As a side note, I tried a work around by plotting to a dwf file using the included dwf driver. This spooled and plotted very quickly (<60 seconds) and the dwf file appears just fine in design review. However, when I try to print from design review, it won't let me set it as a 36" x 54" plot; it keeps with with the standard print sizes only.
When I try to transform an object my screen goes blank, how can I correct this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently moved to CS6. My object styles panel is blank.
THe panel is there with no info inside it. When i open the same job on another machine with the same specs as mine, the artwork is fine and i can see my object styles. WHen I open old artwork that has object styles set, I cannot see them, but again are fine on another machine.
I have a custom palette set on two machines. If I save a file on one and then open it on the other, the second machine does not recognize the custom colors and leaves the object blank. I can click on the palette and correct this but can I set it so that the colors will load correctly when I open the files.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a bracket within Inventor, in order to get the head of the bracket correct (so that it will fit into a bar) I want to derive the bar and use it to cut the slots needed.
Although I have had some problems with this due to the bracket being sheet metal for bend radius reasons.
I do not use the sheet metal tools in IV all that often so I fully expect that I have done something completely wrong.

"Contact page" when images get transported on to page they reduce in size.I have also tried dragging the pictures onto the page but they still reduce in size.

I have an older drawing with an outdated sheet format. I'm wanting to update to a new custom sheet format without having to redimension and recreate views. Is it possible to just update the sheet format?

I can select the .dst file, but when it "opens" I onlly have the icon in the seet set manager and nothing else, it is entirely blank.
I made a new sheet set, but now older versions of AutoCAD cannot read that one.
A collegue asked me about this as he has been given a part to model and the details are for the flat sheet not the finished model. Is this possible in 'sheet metal'? I had a quick play but couldn't work it out. Im used to creating the finished part and 'un-folding' to get the flat pattern.Detail supplied below.

This file was originally created in IV2009 I've had no problems then or with the various conversions of it.
It seems to be memory related so here's the sitrep as for memory 8GB DDR2 RAM, and Virtual Memory set at min of 8192MB and a Max of 16384MB, I did have it set a systems managed but that gave a warning of low virtual memory with almost every drawing file that I opened.
I am using AutoCAD 2013 and I working on a project of approxamitely 80 pages and I have a Sheet Set Manager set up.There are about 40 pages that have text saying Continuation on Sheet XX of YY. I managed to use a field for the total count (YY) however I need to link the XX to the another drawing. I have researched and failed miserably.

I have entered the custom properties, then when I go to the title block and try to insert the fields with current sheet set custom the drop down box is empty and then when I try to type in the custom property name the link still does not function. View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Inventor 2010 (I know this is my first problem, but you have to use what you're given!) and I need to use the sheet number in a calculation that will display the result in a text box. =((<SHEET NUMBER>-1)8)=1 displays a result of ((11-1)8)+1. I suspect that the sheet number is being brought in as text instead of a number. I tried adding atoi to the equation to convert the sheet number to an integer, but it did not work.Is there an alternate source for the sheet number that will return a number? Is my syntax wrong?

I'm fairly new to Autocad and getting used to using sheet set manager. What I'm experiencing is, when you insert a model view it brings in an xref of that model, but i'm then unsure how to add additional xref models into the same view.
For example I have a separate ground floor plan file and OS data file which I want to show in the one sheet view without nesting the OS data to the original ground floor file.
When I publish my sheet to PDF, dimensions of my sheet is broken.

When I do this and browse to the directory of drawings, once I hit next it only wants to create a sheet with a few drawings in the directory. There are 22 drawings in the directory and is leaving out about 18 when it creates the sheet set.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using the Sheet Set options to creat my Sheet Index. It imports everything just fine. My issue is when I want to create a space between sections the option to add a row is greyed out. For ex I would like my sheet index to look similer to the following

S1.41
S2.01

S3.01
ETC.
Is there a way to do this using the sheet index option in Sheet Set manager?
I'm sure it's something basic but whenever I close a PS file, I end up with an empty frame. Tools and menu bars are there. When I close the file, I want to see my desktop, not a blank PS window. How do you get rid of that blank frame?
