View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm running Windows 7 64Bit running Adobe CS5 Master Collection. But ever since I allowed CS5 Photoshop to control my printer (HP Photosmart Prem 310-C) to do a test print of a graphic that I created all of my Blues print a violet/blue color, no matter what color blue. It has even affected MS Word & MS Project when I try to print blue colored font or Gantt Chart blues will no longer print blue, but will print the same blue/violet color. I've even tried a brilliant blue which will all view great, but prints the same shade of violet blue! All my colors and Blues will view great! I've calibrated my monitor and I've reset my printer several times and still the same thing! I never had this problem before I downloaded Adobe CS5! A strange thing is that I can run check printer test and the data & image that is stored in the printer will print blues perfect, including running a copy direct from the scanner bed and it will produce perfect blues. I almost feel as though Adobe CS5 has possessed my PC and printer, how do I get it back to printing like it did before installing CS5 Master Suite?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recorded an action to create a transparent image on a batch of photos. Next I ran the image processor using the File/Scripts/image processor. When running the action the error message occurs no matter how many ways I attempt to modify the action. Error: The object "Style "Shape Style"" is not currently available.
I then look in the action window to check and under the steps Make Fill Layer: Style: Shape, Style 1 appears but I can't delete it. This one error message makes it impossible for me to image process a batch of photos with a watermark on them.
I am looking for a way to change the text style used by a table style with Visual LISP. So far I have been able to get the IAcadTableStyle object from the acad_tablestyle dictionary, but there is no property for text style. Is this even possible? Code and results are below.
(defun DumpTableStyles ()
(setq dict (vla-get-dictionaries (vla-get-activedocument(vlax-get-acad-object))))
(setq TableStyles (vla-item dict "acad_tablestyle"))
(vlax-for TableStyle TableStyles
(vlax-dump-object TableStyle)

I read that it's not possible to import a style (styxml file) into the style editor through the API, there is no dedicated command.
However I'm wondering if there's a a way to have the internal name corresponding to the button as we can do for the ribbon buttons (there's a sample code which does this).
So is it possible ot get the internal name of a button inside a dialog box (style editor here) or is it really hopeless to think I can import a style with a macro ?
By the way, that would be for Inventor 2009.
There is a font and table style called "Legend" that is automatically generating and can not be purged.
I have looked through all the start up files, all the lisp files and can't find anything that would be creating them!
They appear in any file I open, new or old and even if I open a template file.
I have attached a file that should be empty but you will (or should) see both a font and table style called "Legend".

Is there any way to lock a text style so that the associated font style can not be changed?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to change the default label styles for AddSegmentLabel under general styles using .NET...
Dim X As Autodesk.Civil.Settings.SettingsCmdAddSegmentLabel = CD.Settings.GetSettings(Of Autodesk.Civil.Settings.SettingsCmdAddSegmentLabel)()
X.Styles.LineLabel.Value = strChildStyleName ... says name does not exist
or
X.Styles.LineLabelStyleId.Value = oidChildStyle ... "The type of objectId is wrong"
If I manually change it to a child style and then check the values, they are the same as what I'm trying to set them to. If you use a "parent" style then these both work. Am I doing something wrong or this another limitation?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working with a template, that doesn't allow me to change the dimension style. In the project the Use Style Library is set to Read/Write. I have created my dimension style, at this point just a copy of the ANSI standard with a text size difference. I went to my template and set that syle as my default, and saved it. Now the fact that it doesn't automatically update the drawing I had alreadycreated is a nuisance, however if I creat a new drawing, the style has reverted to a different standard, that is not even the ANSI default. If I right click a dimension and change the dimstyle to what I saved it does update, but if I try to change the style again it defaults to a random dimstyle, AND changes the style even if I hit cancel. So... the question is how to make the changes stick?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been noticing that photos in magazines lately have a certain look where it seems like cross processed film, but different. The photos have a blue cast and kind of look like when they shoot scenes during the day but process it to look like night. I'm wondering if there is a filter or process in Photoshop that does this? I will insert a link to a photo of this techinique below- Jake Gyllenhaal from an issue of GQ to demonstrate what I mean...
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if it is possible to do a style update (or style update check) upon open of a drawing?
The example would be that I have stuff made from way back that the colors/dimension sytles ect dont match the current standard and upon opening a file where they are not current, it would either prompt to update immediatly OR update automatically with no prompting (preferred method).
I am doing a massive amount of updates from old files recently and to save myself 1 - 3 clicks per drawing would be wonderful.
I went to Hawaii and because it was too sunny I couldn't see the colors of my photos very well, so they turned BLUE. How do I fix them in Photoshop CS 2?
I don't want anything complicated because I have quite a few photos.
When red eye is the problem, the red eye tool works well, but when the flash has resulted in blue eyes, I have more of a problem corrected. I usually wind up using the stamp tool to copy darker areas.
It has been suggested to me before to use the replace color adjustment, but this doesn't limit to the area of the eyes I have selected, but highlights areas all over the image.
Also if I use the wand tool and paint or bucket another color the effect is not smooth as with the red eye tool. This is CS6

I've had this problem before... where I go to hit a keyboard shortcut and end up in some sort of gray scale mode. I'm not actually in "gray scale" though; I'm still in RGB mode but the image title bar says "blue/8".
I've tried everything I can think of, but now many of my options have been grayed out and I can't select certain menu functions. There was an easy fix with CS4 I found online, but I don't remember what it was and this seems different.
When I try to use the liquify tool on a layer that I'm working on, it only shows the layer in this blueish color and I can't see what I'm doing until I hit the "ok" button.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an issue where in Photoshop, opening a menu and clicking on something like, File > New or any other option, will leave a blue shadow on my screen, of that menu item. It persists over every program until I restart the computer, even if Photoshop has been closed. This has only happened in the last week.
Is this an issue with Photoshop, or is it my computer?
On the left you see the result of making a 3d layer of the hat with a clean install of PhotoshopCC. On the right, exactly the same procedure in CS6. I'm looking forward to using the Generator features of PhotoshopCC, however this bug is a real showstopper. The objects render correctly,
but the preview is always Blue, and I've tried everything to change that.I have found no reference to this behaviour/bug anyehere on the net.

My whites and light grays seem blue. For example, if I create a gradient from white to black, the lighter grays, will seem bluish. (See link)
It's not my monitor or color settings because when I save the images, they export in the correct shade of gray. (See link)
Also, the canvas itself doesn't come up blue. It remains white, like it should. The blues occur in shades of gray such as e6e6e6,
