View 3 Repliesi need to remove the camouflage from this image so i am basically left with a white template with the wrinkles to add on my own camouflage to it, i've tried manually removing the camouflage by layer masks, but it was a messy result. i can imagine it would need a grey scale somewhere?
there's the image:
P.S there was a template by the game developers but all links to the psd file are now dead.
I am looking for a variety of camouflage texture fills. Â

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm running Windows 7 64Bit running Adobe CS5 Master Collection. But ever since I allowed CS5 Photoshop to control my printer (HP Photosmart Prem 310-C) to do a test print of a graphic that I created all of my Blues print a violet/blue color, no matter what color blue. It has even affected MS Word & MS Project when I try to print blue colored font or Gantt Chart blues will no longer print blue, but will print the same blue/violet color. I've even tried a brilliant blue which will all view great, but prints the same shade of violet blue! All my colors and Blues will view great! I've calibrated my monitor and I've reset my printer several times and still the same thing! I never had this problem before I downloaded Adobe CS5! A strange thing is that I can run check printer test and the data & image that is stored in the printer will print blues perfect, including running a copy direct from the scanner bed and it will produce perfect blues. I almost feel as though Adobe CS5 has possessed my PC and printer, how do I get it back to printing like it did before installing CS5 Master Suite?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been noticing that photos in magazines lately have a certain look where it seems like cross processed film, but different. The photos have a blue cast and kind of look like when they shoot scenes during the day but process it to look like night. I'm wondering if there is a filter or process in Photoshop that does this? I will insert a link to a photo of this techinique below- Jake Gyllenhaal from an issue of GQ to demonstrate what I mean...
View 7 Replies View RelatedI went to Hawaii and because it was too sunny I couldn't see the colors of my photos very well, so they turned BLUE. How do I fix them in Photoshop CS 2?
I don't want anything complicated because I have quite a few photos.
When red eye is the problem, the red eye tool works well, but when the flash has resulted in blue eyes, I have more of a problem corrected. I usually wind up using the stamp tool to copy darker areas.
It has been suggested to me before to use the replace color adjustment, but this doesn't limit to the area of the eyes I have selected, but highlights areas all over the image.
Also if I use the wand tool and paint or bucket another color the effect is not smooth as with the red eye tool. This is CS6
i want to reproduce this effect of blue-ish on some personal pics but i don't know how they really made it!
i know it's a combination of burn, dodge, color range + levels but still i can't reproduce it.
how to get the blue tone like in this picture, while maintaining the true whites and blacks?

I've had this problem before... where I go to hit a keyboard shortcut and end up in some sort of gray scale mode. I'm not actually in "gray scale" though; I'm still in RGB mode but the image title bar says "blue/8".

I've tried everything I can think of, but now many of my options have been grayed out and I can't select certain menu functions. There was an easy fix with CS4 I found online, but I don't remember what it was and this seems different.
When I try to use the liquify tool on a layer that I'm working on, it only shows the layer in this blueish color and I can't see what I'm doing until I hit the "ok" button.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an issue where in Photoshop, opening a menu and clicking on something like, File > New or any other option, will leave a blue shadow on my screen, of that menu item. It persists over every program until I restart the computer, even if Photoshop has been closed. This has only happened in the last week.

Is this an issue with Photoshop, or is it my computer?
On the left you see the result of making a 3d layer of the hat with a clean install of PhotoshopCC. On the right, exactly the same procedure in CS6. I'm looking forward to using the Generator features of PhotoshopCC, however this bug is a real showstopper. The objects render correctly,
but the preview is always Blue, and I've tried everything to change that.I have found no reference to this behaviour/bug anyehere on the net.

My whites and light grays seem blue. For example, if I create a gradient from white to black, the lighter grays, will seem bluish. (See link)
It's not my monitor or color settings because when I save the images, they export in the correct shade of gray. (See link)
Also, the canvas itself doesn't come up blue. It remains white, like it should. The blues occur in shades of gray such as e6e6e6,

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a new Dell Vostro 1000 laptop, running Windows XP.
I'm the editor (copywriter, proofreader, layout person, etc., etc., etc.)for a quarterly journal for a non-profit organization. The journal is created pretty much entirely with PageMaker 6.5, with the photos being worked in PhotoShop 7.0. I know... XP and PageMaker 6.5 have some problems, but I never have or had this problem with my desktop, and the few problems I do have, I've managed to get around.
What's happening is, when I convert an image to grayscale in PhotoShop, it doesn't appear grayscale on my monitor... it has a blue hue to it... it also looks that way placed in the PageMaker publication. I'm sure it's just some simple setting on the laptop, but I haven't a clue what it is or where it might be or how to change it so that when I tell it grayscale, I actually SEE grayscale (not bluescale!). It's important that I see (at least relatively closely) how it will look in grayscale so I can adjust the contrast, levels, etc., as many of the photos are 100 years old and so need quite a bit of "playing with" in PhotoShop.
