Is it recommended to uninstall 7 before or will it CS3 cope with it there?
I called a customer support rep at Adobe today and she told me that the education discounted version of CS4 will not allow the user to post photos on a website. Is this true? Does anyone know if there is functionality in the regular version that is not in the education discount version?

View 9 Replies View RelatedOne of the features I was really looking forward to in CS6 was creating fillable forms with ONE application. I created a form following the step by step instructions in classroom in a book for CS6. When I opened the exported form in Reader X, I get a "This operation is not permitted" error. I opened the completed "end" document in the lesson to make sure I didn't commit an error, and I got the same message when exporting. I have looked for places in menus to modify security restrictions and I can't find any. I installed the updates and that didn't solve the issue.
I saw one solution posted which is to open the document in Acrobat, then do a "save as" option. Is there anything we can do that doesn't involve buying additional software? If this is not the case, then Adobe seriously needs to change its training and advertising about this functionality.
In this lesson we will consolidate code to prevent code reuse. Follow along as we demonstrate by doing the following and more:
Apply a color to a form command button, loop form controls, and save and get the color from registry

I am working on a form (global) and have added a picture with a parameter and a picture folder underneath. So that the picture displayed on my form will change depending on the parameter value. Here comes the trick. Only text parameters can be used!On the form editor only 'Text parameter' can be selected to drive the picture selection. I actually need an integer, so that i can use my User/Excel parameters from Inventor.
I can work this around with an iLogic rule to equal the value of my string Picture Parameter with the relevant integer Inventor parameter, but the rules need to be run before the pic and the form updates (by pressing the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the form and then the assy updates too. So this takes a couple of minutes)... whereas if it was an option on the form editor then the update would be instant without waiting for everything to update...
Is there a particular reason why the Picture Parameter only can be a text parameter?
How do I take still pictures from Photoshop 10 videos?

Within my java app, I create XFDF and FDF files and open them in a browser. They are suppose to merge and display to the user using the form. However, on my Windows (local machine) they don't merge but display the actual file data.
I don't have this problem when working from my Unix server. It's only when I'm working on my local machine (using Windows XP, Apache, Tomcat, IE 6.0). I'm using the same code and the same forms but they just aren't displaying/merging.
I am installing the webapp to run on a laptop and it does the same thing. I need it to display the forms for printing and not the xml/fdf data.
I have modified my Apache conf file to include the following line:
"AddType application/vnd.adobe.xfdf .xfdf"
and it didn't help.
Is there something else that I'm missing with maybe an IE setting or Apache or Tomcat that isn't allowing it to merge?

I received a floor plan from our corporate office and can't figure out how to color code restaurant table sections. There has to be a way in either adobe 7.0 pro or in ps 7.0 that you can fill color into an object. Also, for some reason when i create text boxes they don't appear nor do they print. I am really really new to editing pdf files and ps and adobe 7.0 pro.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have Adobe CS3 and I am a registered owner. Opening any of the programs a blank screen pops that has a heading "Adobe Design Suite Premium CS3" which I believe is the form to fill out to either register the program or activate I can't remember which.
I have had the program for about three months and occasionally this screen would pop up but with a form that could be filled. I just closed out on it because I had previously completed all the "paper work" What do I need to do to get my programs back up and running?
I recently tried to open Photoshop (for Mac). Normally the register "Adobe Design Suite Standard CS3" pops up asking me to register (with the whole register form) and i just click register later. But now the screen is popping up completely blank.
No form, graphics or buttons. And i am unable to close it. Photoshop and the project i am working on load up but i cannot access it because of the register form window. How can i get rid of this? None of my adobe products are working.
I have Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64-bit). I'm trying form a text box where the words form a perfect square (allowing for different words to be different sizes). How would I do this? It's a concept that is a little hard to explain.

I am using Photoshop CS2 and Image Ready CS2. I have my signature scanned into a JPG file, and I have a form that requires my signature also in JPG format. I want to be able to paste the image of my signature into this form, but I don't want it to erase anything in the backround, that being the actual signature line on the form. I can't quite figure out how to do this using Photoshop.

nstall of CS2 on my Win7 64bit machine and in the process I find that CS2 is no longer supported, (no big surprise,) and CS2 may have issues with 64bit.
I only really use Photoshop, so I'm thinking maybe I should look at why I should or shouldn't upgrade. (Amazon has the upgrade @ $153.xx USD or something like that at the moment.)
I do original art, inputting drawings and manipulating them in Photoshop, as well as working with digi photos. Worth the upgrade? What's new that I should be aware of?
I have CS3 and ultimately want to upgrade. In the short term, I need to deactivate the computers that previously had CS3 on them. I don't even have the computers anymore. I will then just reload my existing copy of CS3, get it re-established and move on from there. What is the simple way to do this?
