Is there a way that I can create a transparent animation with ImageReady without it leaving a large white halo around it?
I create transparent animations with drop shadows; however, when I finish the job in ImageReady and then save it will create a white halo around it. No, I do not mean fringe. I mean a large white halo.
From the looks of it, it is as if the program can not create a image with a drop shadow with out a background to project it on. Any time that I create a transparent image with a drop shadow, it will always create that white halo.
Here is an example. However, if the board has the white background it will not be a visabel problem. This is a sig for another forum that I belong to.
When I save a transparent gif in PS (CS) and use the "Save For Web" dialog that comes up using the ctrl+shift+alt+S shortcut. From there I can chose the differerent dither and matte options.
Recently I was saving a small animation in ImageReady and I couldn't find this same dialog or any save options that would allow for the manipulation of the gif file.
I looked at "Save", "Save As", "Saved Optimized" and "Save Optimized As" and the Export feature... I'm a bit lost as to how to control the matte and dither with animations in ImageReady.
I have some text in one animation frame and in another frame it's supposed to move and get smaller. The problem is, when I adjust the size of the text (smaller) in the second frame to tween it later, the text size in the first frame gets smaller as well. I hope I make sense. Is it possible to tween text and make it get smaller in imageready?
I have a full version of PS, I have a few questions. Seeing as how I now have a full version, I have ImageReady as well. I was following a simple tutorial to get aquainted with IR and came upon a problem. How do I have an un-animated piece of text above a fading section? I know how to do fading text, but not how to apply the tween to only one section of the image.
I'm trying to add sound to an animation. I read an old thread on these forums saying that you'd need to turn it into an .avi... How would I go about converting it to such a file and syncing a sound file to it?
I've opened up a file to which i produced the other night. Through scaling down a jpeg image to a suitable size to be used as an avatar on a website, i've made 51 frames. Now before i used to save any animations via 'Save Optimized As...' then select the .gif option. The problem is, when i now go to save my file as an animation, it does not give me the option to save as .gif . The choices i have are something like .jpg / .htm or both. Also, before the save file dialog box pops up i have a message stating something along the lines of 'jpegs etc etc are not compatible with animations' or something? I've never seen this message before and have also created animated .gif files from a jpeg file in the past...
I've created a picture in photoshop and then switched it to image ready. What i'm trying to do, is rotate the picture in a full circle....but whenever i try to change the angle of the picture, it rotates all of the frames not just the one i'm working in. I'm new to imageready and i think ive gotten beyond my capabilities, i played w/ actions, but don't really understand those either. Can anyone help me figure this out?
I created my background as transparent but when I render my .mp4 or .mov 3D animation, it is black. I tried importing it into After Effects and it I can't get it to bring in all my animations I added in Photoshop? Apparently the engines are different now between Photoshop cc and after effects CC.
I have two frames with the start and end of my animation. My two layers contain a transparent background and an opaque object. When I choose the tweening option and add my specified number of frames, then test the animation, the start of the animation is 0% opaque and slowly becomes 100% at the end.
My two layers used for start and finish are opaque. I have all the checkboxes checked by default for the tweening, and I can't figure why I'm getting a fade-in effect for my animation.
I have added an animation (snow flakes falling down) in front of the whole home page of a full-Edge site. The problem is now that the snowShower symbol captures the click events.
How could I make it "transparent" to clicks, that is transmitting them to the buttons underneath?
how I changed the background on an animated gif, from white to transparent, on all frames, at one time. I did do that using ImageReady, didn't I? I must be having a major senior moment.....
i am trying to make a website with imageready, and i have the animations saved, but it wont let me optimize it (in the box) so then it automatically makes it a jpg, and i cant find a way to get it to a .gif.. because i want the animations.
I just started working with Photoshop and IR CS2 recently, migrating from PS 7. I am working on an image in photoshop and I want to jump to IR to add some rollover buttons. When I jump to IR and preview my work in IE or firefox, or view in the optimized view, it moves my images. It looks the way it should in normal view, but in the show optimized view things are moved. Why does it move the images? It seems in PS7 IR and PS worked more harmoniously. What has changed?
I was working on an image, and I wanted rollovers. I finished those up and went to save it [Save Optimized As...] and realized it was saving the images as .gif files. That's no good; it's a large image that looks terrible in .gif format.
I have been trying for quite some time now to get it to save as a 100% Quality, 0 Blur .jpg, I know I've done it before, and now it isn't working. As far as I can get is 60% [High; I want Maximum].
i have a pretty noob question, how do u make button rollovers for a website through photoshop/imageready? once my layouts are sliced, how is it possible to make rollovers? do i have to use dreamweaver? (i.e.- navigation text underlined when mouse is over it..) something basic as to that.
When I try to import/open an avi file in ImageReady, the import/open window comes up but then another window pops up telling me that quicktime does not have the plugins required to import the file and the plugins are not available on the quicktime server, when i proceed to import/open the image turns blank. I tried updating my quicktime, I updated image ready.
I have been looking but can't seem to find a good tutorial on how I can create a website using Photoshop and Dreamweaver. Anyone know of any good ones? I see talk of using ImageReady...anyone know of a good tutorial on how to do this as well?
i created 3 frames of a pic, but when i edit like the 2nd frame all 3 frames change. how can i get it so i can make each frame individual. and, is there a way to change a lens flare color?
I am trying to put together a powerpoint presentation and would like to insert a map on one of the slides. I want the map to show an animated route like you see in the Indiana Jones movies, starting at one point with a line drawn to another point. The line should look like it is being drawn, not just appear.
I'm working on an animated texture which features a frame (think picture frame) that has text panning through it, but I don't want it to show up on the outside of the frame (picture frame). How do I make this text slide through the frame, but not show up on the outsides?
I guess to try and make it easier to visualize, picture a yellow smiley face ( > <) on a white background. Next, picture a red bar sliding from the right side of the image, across the smiley face, and then off the left side of the image. Now, imagine that the red bar does not
Is there a way to get imageready cs to write the html using a percentage for each slice so the website will adjust to different resolutions I have many templates that I have downloaded and that is the way they are and they fit any resolution
well i just upgraded from photoshop 7 to CS2 and of course imageready too. so i was working with imageready cs2, trying to make a gif, when i realized that the movements werent smooth like they were in 7. heres how a IR 7 gif looked when i made it:
see how its all smooth and the fading is continuous?
well heres something i made using CS2:
in the CS2 gif, the fading is like, frame-by-frame ish. how come it didnt do that when i used IR7? im using the same steps on CS2 as i did on 7.
