Basically, I need to align tire tracks to a path. I’d like to have 3 pairs of tracks, 2 are wiggly like a drunken driver would cause, and 1 pair is straight, also on a white background.

Is there any way of adding a music track to my slideshows or do I have to get other software to do this?
How can I disable, when using of multiple audio tracks, one or more audio tracks?
I use a audio recorder for the sound, so I want to disable the soundtracks of all other cameras.
The settings of the audio mixer are not saved. I am using Premier Elements 11.
I would like to have the overlay tracks be increased up to 99 tracks, like some of the other programs have. They also have more audio tracks available as well.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have an edit. I got about 5 layers (text , mograph etc). Now if i go to the middle of my edit and i want just to insert a gap at my current position so it will push away any clips at any track to the right side away from my positioner. So i want to make a room to add more clip in the middle of my edit and i want it to ripple all clips in all tracks. I found that i can ripple only in current track.
I will normally select all clips located in the right side of my positioner (all track). then drag them to make a space (gap).
How do I draw railway tracks on a map?
railway tracks can consist of 2 parallel lines with small lines across them or a single line with small lines across it.
edit I guess I should be looking for a railway brush ?
I am wondering if there is another method to control volume levels on the audio and voice over tracks. I am thinking particularly about a method to easily (automatically) reduce the volume of the background music when a voiceover starts and raising it again after the voiceover is finished.
I find the existing process of capturing a volume node fiddly and, for me, a bit hit and miss.
I'm using Videostudio 12 pro, and am using all 6 overlay tracks for chroma keyed effects. What I'm trying to do is order the tracks so I can control which tracks lays on top of the other. This can be done in Paint Shop Pro or any other publishing software, like Publisher, but I can't find anything that allows me to do this in Video Studio.
I've found that most of the overlay tracks lay on top of the previous track and it's causing difficulty in ordering the people in my clip. Is there a way to control this? Example, I'd like overlay track 5 to go on top of overlay 4 but it won't work.
iF you use 4 overlay tracks. If I want to insert it later into a movie in the middle of a video track timeline.
How can I do it. Because the effect is only on overlay tracks.
Is the a way to change it so all the overlay tracks merge into one video track in the timeline ?Then I could inset it anywhere I wanted in the timeline.
Also when you want to make a DVD one option near the bottom is "use first clip as introductory video" What does that mean?
I have video files of the same performance from two cameras, and want to cut and match between the two. In the past what I've done is lay the firstone on the main timeline and then cropped where necessary to allow cutting to the overlays in tracks 2 and/or 3 as needed. This however proves to be rather time consuming and occasionally I get timing issues.
is there a facility in VS X4 to lay both tracks side by side (losing the audio from one of them) and then block out sections as required by (eg) making the overlay transparent, and thus keep the timing the same all through a piece...?
I know that ProX4 does not provide panning and zooming of video, but any way to do this using the overlay tracks?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to add an additional audio track to either the music track or voice tracks? In other words, instead of one voice track and one music track is there a way to add a third track? I have many sound effects and music and there are parts of my project that need more than two audio tracks.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a clip where I have tracked the motion of two eyes (not the eyemovement, but the location). The tracking is awesome by the way. The placeholders are following the movement very good. My goal is to have some kind of effect on the eyes (scary, sci-fi etc), like lens flare coming out of them. But I can't figure out how to add this effect to the motion I have tracked. I have tried adding the effect to the place holders, but it looks very ugly and they are still just a couple of squares.
how I can add an effect to a motion track like this..?
Using ProX2 . . .
Making a DVD NTSC slide show of some Christmas pix. Opening photo is outside of house with snow on the ground. It's in vertical orientation (taller than it is wide). To show the entire house photo results in a video image of the house with black areas on the left and right of the photo. No problem.
As it fades in from black, thought it would be cool to have actual snow falling over the photo. Fine, fired up Cool 3D PS and made a particle overlay avi file of 720x480 of snow falling.
I insert snow avi into overlay track #1 over house photo. Of course, since the house photo is not 720 wide, the snow also falls into the black (border?) area outside the house photo. No problem. I just adjust the overlay avi so that it's the same dimensions as the house photo. Okay, the snow looks a little too distorted that way.
So, I return the overlay avi back to it's original 720x480 size and insert a black jpg into overlay track #2 to cover the snow on the left side of the photo. Insert same black jpg into overlay track #3 to cover the snow on the right side of the photo. (Creating a two track, pseudo mask?) For the most part, it works. In the preview window it looks great (doesn't it always?). When I render it, though, there is snow falling just outside the left and right edges of the house photo. Not much, but enough to be noticeable. The pseudo mask idea works, but not 100% for some reason.
Been moving the black jpgs in overlay track #s 2 & 3 more and more onto the photo, but when I render each version it doesn't seem to make any difference. What am I not seeing here to fix it? Just want the snow to fall on the photo and not outside of it.
Summary . . .
Video track: House photo (and other images)
Overlay #1: Snow particle avi
Overlay #2: Black jpg covering the area left of the photo
Overlay #3: Black jpg covering the area right of the photo
P.S. - Think it would matter since I did not resize the house photo, leaving it in it's original 3000 x 4000 file size?
I have been using VS since version 9 and I seem to get the same thing on each version. After I have completed the project and burn to DVD the audio track seems too loud. I don't seem to notice it playing back the file (computer speakers aren't much chop) but once in the DVD player you always have to quickly turn down the volume once it starts playing. There is no static or distortion its just too loud. I now go into every song I input on the audo track and lower the levels. And it only appears to be the music. Audio in the video clips comes out at normal levels and does not need adjusting. If anything I have to boost the video clip audio because it's too low. The songs I import are directly from CD's or MP3's from my music folder.
Its not a real problem as I can fix by constantly lowering each song but is there a way to set the preference to lower the output on the audio tracks? That is to see the level automatically set below the 0 line when music is added. Or is it something in the burn proceedure in MF7?
Turned off tracks will NOT be ignored when exporting. This is a trap!

Only one or the other will playback and not together at the same time. I am using a ProAvio Video Box with a RocketRAID 644 controller. What gives? Why am I not able to hear all the audio tracks during playback?
I've got an issue seeing video on video track 1 when I have something on a track above it. Â I have video on track 1, and above that I have a gap with a text fx placed on it (it's a lower third name key). Â The track indicator is located on the track with the text fx (see the attached "timeline" shot), yet all I see is that key without seeing the video below it (see attached "canvas") Â Everything has been rendered, so I don't understand what's wrong. Â And when I export the timeline, the black remains.
