View 3 RepliesI am editing a video and have added some music in overlay track 1. Easy to do was to have the music come out of the front left and right speakers and the captured video audio to come out of the centre speaker. Is it possible in Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 to assign the audio track to a specific speaker or do I need some other s/w to do that?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I am in the sound mixer and select for instance the music track, and want to drag the note symbol down toward the surround speakers, I have to hold the note with the mouse all the way of the entire music clip, otherwise, the symbol note returns slowly back to the center.
Is there any way to keep the note symbol fixed in the desire position without holding the mouse all the time of the entire music clip? I am using VS4.
I don't know if this problem was already there in earlier 3ds max versions, but i cant find anywhere on the internet how to create a shadow on a invisible plane like matte shadow could :

View 4 Replies View RelatedI drew a box, then applied a drop shadow going to the right. I duplicated the layer, then dragged it to the left of the first box. I edited the drop shadow to go to the left, and it changed, but so did the first one. I cannot get the two drop shadows to go in different directions.
I've tried different things, drawing separate boxes, etc. but it still will not work.
Does anyone know why this is happening or why I can solve it?
How can i make a shadow? Tried "drop shadow" but need a much wider shadow.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a shadow but I'd like to make it so it appears like it's in 3D. The shadows utility under Layer Style makes a shadow as if the object would be floating on top of the other layer. But what if I would like to make it appear as if it would be touching the other layer at one point. For example a ball on a table or a person standing up on the grass.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm building a web page and wanted to add some drop shadows to my photos to make them pop a little. how to add a drop shadow,
1.First way was I selected the entire photo and tried a layer effect. Didn't work.
2. Then I created a new layer that was a rectangle. put it behind the background copy and tried to add the dropshadow to the rectangle thinking it might show up from behind the bg layer. I couldn't even add the drop shadow to the rectangle.
I must be losing my memory, where it is that I can add a shadow to some text. I just did this about a week ago and now I'm a blank.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen i apply a drop shadow to one layer, then add a drop shadow to another layer, their directions stay linked so when i change the direction of the 2nd shadow, the first one moves too. Why is this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have found a strange problem with CS4, if I load a file, create a background of a solid colour, and then paste in a masked image, the new image appears OK, and sure enough I can see that it is in the center of the background. if I then try to add a shadow to this top layer, nothing appears?? If I try the same thing in CS3 it works! does anyone know if there is a reason for this, or if I am doing anything wrong? I was wondering if there is a memory issue or if there is a setting somewhere that I need to check out. It does seem to happen only when I am working with some large images, I have though tried loading one of these images and then reduced it to 800 x 800 pixels, but still nothing happens. I really would love to find a working solution if anyone out there can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using Photoshop for a while in various graphic-oriented tasks. The problem I am facing is as follows: I was asked to do a watermark on some images on a net-store. The problem with this is that I want to do them in an unorthodo-style. See I have done it all before, just canīt remember, nor find information on how to do it. I want to do the "watermark" from a shadow of a text, so that the shadow follows the pictures curves. I remember that there is somewhere in there a function that allows you to "count" the depth based on brightness etc. In other words I want an effect that a text is casting a shadow on a 3d-object, which here is a 2d-photograph. Somebody following me?
Could somebody please help? I have already made a font of the logo that is to watermarked. I plan to cast a shadow from it on the pic, then copypaste the upper part so that the text the shadow is casted from doesnīt show.

Is this function not available in Photoshop 7?
I have click CTRL+J and set Layer and than removed Background in Layer.
After I clicked on layer I have also defined shadow.
Why is there not visible result with shadow and how to define also border (possible also round border).
how would you take a normal looking picture and add enough shadow and glow to make this?
