Lightroom :: How To Select Multiple Keywords To Add To Images Without Keywords Collection
Aug 1, 2012Lightroom has a collection containing all images without keywords.
As soon as I apply a keyword to images they instantly disappear from the collection. This is alright when I only want to apply a single keyword, but how do I stop it happening when I want to apply multiple keywords to the same image(s)?

Jan 4, 2004I am in the process of completing my Photographic website and need to make thumbnail and larger sizes for the the site. The site will have approximately 100 images on it. Clicking the thumbnails will connect to the larger images. How do I make both sizes in PS CS? Perhaps their is a generator that you would recommend for Mac 10.2?

Apr 5, 2010I use romcat to catalogue and find files that we create. I've noticed that if X5 is installed on windows XP the save dialogue shows place to insert 'keyword's and 'notes' as before, however if X5 is installed on Vista or Windows 7 the field are now listed as 'Title' and 'Subject' and cannot be used by Romcat. Under a Vista or Windows 7 installation when a 'save as' to an X3 or earlier version is used, the dialogue box refers to 'tags' and 'comments' which are read correctly by Romcat.
Is there any way the save dialogue can include' keywords' and 'notes' without saving as an earlier version?

GIMP :: Saving Keywords To Image (2013)
Sep 20, 2013As a recent user of Photoshop, I need to attach details such as keywords to an image. This will usually be a TIFF or JPEG.. I'm new to Gimp but see in the Properties category I can enter the sort of info I want but when I try to save everything this info just disappears and obviously is not embedded in the file.

May 15, 2013I do a lot of watermarking for the images on my website an created an action for that. What I did:
place water mark select both layers align left and bottom move the watermark layer up and to the right with the arrow keys (padding from the side of the picture)
Before I apply this action to my images I make them all 930 pixels in width with the original ration, so the height varies. When I apply the action to my images, on some of the images the watermark shows up just fine (like I created the action) but on some of them the watermark shows up very small or to large.
Photoshop :: Bridge Is Loosing Images With Keywords
Oct 12, 2013An interesting abnormally with Bridge 5.0.2.4 X64
Bridge is loosing images with keywords. After purging the cache and running a search all images return. However, this does not retain the images. I have seen the images disappear while watching the screen. Subsequent searches only retains a few of the hundreds of images with the keyword.
I have also removed and re-installed Bridge to no avail. I also believe I have the latest updates?

Nov 15, 2012For the past one year I have been regularly editing my photographs in Photoshop (CS5 and CS3) and uploading them on my blog and my fb page.
However since the past 45 days I edited 5 albums in Photoshop but have not been able to upload a single photo on fb or on any other page. I moved browsers trying chrome, fire fox and even IE but nothing worked. I then formatted my laptop and reinstalled CS5 only to know that too was not useful.
I tried editing some photos in basic picassa and that worked well and was able to upload photos on fb and my blog. I then tried uploading some old photos (edited in photoshop) and they are getting uploaded. So I am sure this is a recent problem with photoshop.

Mar 6, 2012I'm on PS CS4 and an intel iMac. This may seem obvious to others, but I can't figure how the adobe navigation images (here at the top) are made. There seems to be something beyond just a gradient that is more texture oriented.

Lightroom :: Search For Images Using Keywords?
Sep 23, 20121) In LR4, Search for images using Keywords (click on arrow next to Keyword).
2) Select image, export to PS6, save as Tif.
3) Tif retains all Keywords when it appears in LR
4) Despite that, image does not show up in the same 'Search for images using Keywords'.
Xara :: Exporting Images To Website
Oct 13, 2012when i create images in Xara they look very clear and crisp but once exported and appear on the website they lose their clarity and sharpness.
Which brings me to the question.. what is the best way to export images for a website? Are there advanced settings that I may use to improve the images appearance on the website.

Oct 25, 2012I used to use Photoshop Elements and that adds a keyword to its catalog showing which camera took the image. Lightroom doesn't seem to do this. I recently bought a new camera and non of the images imported from it have the camera name as a keyword. Is there an option, which I have overlooked, that will force Lightroom to add the camera name as a keyword to images?

Jun 17, 2013In LR5, when two images are selected in Library view, the results in the Keyword Tags panel are incomplete. In my instance, two images were selected. They have some common keywords and those are properly displayed. However, the keywords assigned to only one image appeared with an asterisk in previous versions of LR, a behavior I would like to see continue.
In my instance, one keyword for, we'll say, Image A only, appears but with no asterisk, it should display an asterisk. And, one keyword unique to Image B does not appear at all when both images have been selected, it too should appear with an asterisk.
I'm on a Mac running 10.8.4 and LR CC.
CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 :: JPG Images Non Viewable On Website
Jun 24, 2011I have a website that I recently updated with a new logo created on Corel Draw X4 and then edited using Photo Paint X4. I resampled the image at 72 dpi and save as a jpg.
Once saved I loaded it to my Microsoft Windows Live Small Business account for upload to my website. It was a straight forward process. However, when viewing the website, I noticed that while the logo was visible using FireFox browser, it was not visible using the Explorer browser.
My first thought was that it must be a setting in the browser, but the image also failed to render when viewing the website through my smart phone browser.
This brought to mind that I had had this problem before when trying to upload an older logo design in the same manner. Some browsers just would not load the image.
So, I had this crazy thought that it may have something to do with Corel and the way it saved jpg images. So, I opened the jpg using the old Microsoft Paint program and without making any changes to it, I saved it from there. After that the image loads on the website with all the browsers that wouldn't work before.

Feb 3, 2005I'm having trouble saving a .psd file cut into slices for the web. From Photoshop, I go to the save for web box, and I don't want it to lose any quality at all, so I select "original" in the 2-up tab for the optimized image and save .html and images. The problem is, when I input it into GoLive and put a CSS background behind it, it has a white "crust" around the part of the logo that is transparent. How can I get it to be smooth like in the original Photoshop file?
