AutoCAD Inventor :: Breakout Sketch Visible?
May 16, 2012There are times with a breakout that it is desirable to have the sketch used to create the breakout visible to make it clearer on what's going on. When I right-click on the sketch in the browser there is no option for visibility. How do I make this sketch visible?

Sep 17, 2007If you have a section view, shafts are typically turned off for segtioning, however there is sometimes detail such as keyways or oil holes that are required to be shown which is where a breakout, view is req'd, however it appears the only way to do this is by creating a detail view first, leading to the possibility of a lot of clutter on the drawing from detail views, as when a breakout view is created on the section view, the shaft will not participate in the breakout.

Oct 21, 2013Since Bolts nuts and key shafts are not sectioned according to standards I can´t find a way to section a shaft inside a section view without cutting through these components. I have posted in attachment an example of the problem and a picture of what it should be like.

He makes a detail. In the enlarged view he makes a sketch. He then makes a break out. Within the enlarged view, in the gap which the break out opened up for clarity of the view, are two components that he wishes to make its hidden lines visible. Doing this locks up his machine and makes a single component turn red.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Flip Breakout View Or Sketched Shape Detail
Oct 3, 2013I am trying to do a detail view on an isometric and i would like a long sausage shape angled with the isometric. the detail views are round or rectangular horizontal, i would even be happy with a rectangle on the piss in line with the isometric.
i tried putting on a sketch of my sausage shape and performing a breakout view but it will only take away the components within the sausage, i want to flip this. I then tried putting a big rectangle on the same sketch in the hope that it would leave the sausage as an island, (much like a hatch) .

Nov 10, 2004I'm using version 7, I'm trying to create a curled paper effect then paste an image on the "paper". A couple of web sites suggested creating a rectangle then create a path or something like that and then using the pen tool and the "handles" manipulate the corners. I'm not sure if I have the terminology correct but the problem is that when I create the rectangle and go to add the path (the icon looks like a circle with handles on it) it's grayed out and can not be selected and manually creating a path with the pen tool doesn't work.

Aug 3, 2013When I print 11 x 17 paper on Epson R2880 in LR the image begins printing before the leading edge of the paper reaches the printerhead (not prininting borderless.) Only happens in LR and not PS. I am using the LR paper standards for borders.

Jan 27, 2008before when i wanted a 8.5" X 11" size i would just put a piece of paper on my screen and size it up with what i had in PS....i know barbaric right !
the only reason i do that is when i make a new Doc and use a preset " Letter " it pulls up huge on the screen 25% , not actual size.

Jun 18, 2013In my workflow I often use colourprofiles for uncoated paper such as Euroscale uncoated.Uncoated profiles causes a prewiew problem on screen, since colours are wiewed unnaturally desaturated. This makes it difficult to determine if photos needs to to be adjusted or not.
By convert photos to Euroscale Uncoated, and then assign Euroscale Coated profile on top of this, i get the best from both worlds:The uncoated profile gives me the wanted total ink, and the assigned coated profile gives a natural preview without changing the separation. It works perfekt and makes it easy to match colours on screen to colours on print.
Happiness lasted until I upgraded to CS6:Since the upgrade this workaround does not work. The problem is: When I assign a coated profile on top an uncoated profile, it changes the separation/colour numbers.In other words: the ink limit increases from 270% to more than 330%, which is way too much for the paper.
the problem occur in the moment RGB smart objects are used in the PSD file (which I love to do).If the PSD is a flat CMYK-file, the problem does not occur.
Is it any way to avoid this problem in CS6?For people like me, who every day struggles to get consistent colours on screen and on print, this is extremely important. The way it works in CS6 causes a lot of problems and extra work. I seriously consider to throw out CS6 and reinstall CS5.

Photoshop :: Removing Ink Bleed Through Paper?
Nov 23, 2011I have some art I did back in high school that I recently scanned in. They are just pen doodles that I did on regular lined notebook paper. But on some of the pages I drew on both sides of the page, so when I scanned one side the ink from the other side bleeds through. I'd like to remove those portions but keeping the original lined paper look.
I tried content-aware fill, healing brush, spot healing brush, and more but nothing seems to work quite right. I seem to have the best luck with the patch tool, but for the parts selected close to ink, the replacement patch gets blue ink blur. It's like Photoshop is trying to guess what should go around those edges but all I want is just the plain selected area CS5?

Ok, on to my question. I have been trying for week to make a background similar to the one on this site A torn paper background, with a repeating part of it, so it will expand as needed, and it all fits together.
Really I would like to have it have a bit more character like this or this, but we will get to that later.
