How do I make a pasted image more transparent?
all transparent png files copied from Chrome and pasted into Photoshop CS6. The background is black rather than transparent. These images are one I created and exported using "save for web". It worked fine in CS5 so it must be a bug.
I constantly have to edit images taken from our website so being able to copy an image quickly with transparency intact is very important. I'm running CS6 in Windows.
I have been creating some images for e-mail marketing and would like to spice it up with some colored backgrounds. How do I make my images transparent without using polygon tool.View 3 Replies View Related
This error doesn't happen with the 64Bit version, nor does it happen in CS5 64 or 32bit, and not in CC 32bit (downloaded the trial to test to see if it was a 32bit compatbility problem) and none of these cough up this error.
I haven't copied or deleted any parts of Adobe or any files in any of the program directories. It happens in Photosho I try to Browse in Bridge from Photoshop, not if Bridge is already open.
And yes, I know Extension Manager CS6 no longer supports Bridge, but I wasn't using it. This error just started yesterday. Been using the 32bit version of CS6 for certain plugins for over a year. Again, haven't deleted or added anything.
I have an image here that I cannot seem to make transparent.
It was a picture of the Vegas skyline and I was trying to make these buildings cut out and have a transparent background.
I keep selecting the white background and hit delete, but it stays white... same thing happens when I try to save for web.
I'm having trouble making my image transparent. It's a simple .jpg, logo for our company. I tried "save as" and tried to save it as a .gif... and that didn't work.View 2 Replies View Related

I need PS experts to teach me how to make a transparent image, not a background. I found a image on the website, but I've been tested many times and didn't figure out how it made like this.
the center flower is 100% transparent, but it still keeps shadow and embossed area. I used blend mode for testing, but everytime if I make it to 100% transparent, I lose everything, it becomes a flat transparent area.

When I have a backgound selected with the Magic Wand Tool or the Quick Selection Tool and I try to delete it, instead of getting the white and gray checkered background, it brings up a "Fill" splash screen, why? I'm just trying to make an image transparent so it can be moved from one image to another.View 1 Replies View Related
I am getting a hold on using various meathods to paste a selected object (a person) into another image....
but the issue i have is matching the color tonality (i hope i am using the correct word) of the pasted person matching the image i pasted into!! ...
I have tried, the hue and saturation and curves, dodge and burn, brighness and contrast, and a couple of others on the selected person/object it still looks unnatural ..
I am snapping from Nikon Coolpix L1 camera into 6.2 MPixel mode. When It comes to photoshop, I can see that the normal document size is, Width : 9.387 in and Height : 7.04 in (I am giving this reference from menu Image->Image Size).
Now, I am reducing this document into a size of W=5.347" x H=4.01" size for printing. Taking four nos. of similar documents and trying to paste all four documents into a single sheet of size 12"x8". This is because that the printing cost of a 12"x8" paper will be least, and that is why I am trying to compose four 5.3"x4" photographs into a single 12"x8" paper.
But the problem is that, when I am trying to paste (using copy-paste or drag-n-drop) any of the source pictures into destination sheet, the picture in the destination sheet is expanding and filling all the space of 12"x8".
What is the problem?

I thought the idea for the Mtext background mask was to put a transparent mask behind the text to 'grey-out' the object below the text.
When I do that and select a mask color it plots as a black box. So I select a color that normally plots as a screened entity but it still plots out as a solid black mask.
How can I make the mask transparent? Can I not mask out what's below the text? My plotter is set up to plot line weights by line color.
