View 2 Replies View RelatedI designed back side of a business card with Arial font, When I printed cards I got horizontal little lines on besides and under text lines. On computer monitor it was only showing clear text in Enhanced view mode. When I changed view mode to Wireframe, then these lines shows on screen also. I only have text on this file, no background or any other object. I tried to change the font to other font types including Tru Type fonts also, but problem remained same.
I never had this problem with X5.
So I have been adding in some text over a .jpeg image. Then I am making them into a .dwg file. I have running into a lot of issues with the text though. In the .ai file the text is all horizontal. When I export it however the text turns vertical. I am looking at the file in Autodesk Truview 2014. Just wondering if this is a bug or there is some way to avoid this. I am also using Adobe CS2.

View 7 Replies View Relatedis it me being picky or expecting too much. How come this useful feature of horizontal & vertical scaling of paragraph text fonts still haven't been implemented as of CorelDraw 14? All the other illustration packages support this feature and Corel just never seem to care about it.

I've tried some of the settings for the mleader text placement. I'm trying to get the text to sit on top of a horizontal line. And an angled leader from the horizontal line to the object I am describing, ending in a dot.
All this is working fine, the lines, dot, etc. It's set for straight, not spline. And max. 2 leader points. All works as I want here.
What isn't working well is the text placement. I am able to have the text be horizontal, this works. But I can't get it to have the text above the horizontal line. I can set the leader connection to underline top line, or underline bottom line, or underline all text. These 3 choices seem sort of retarded. The first two put the text right on the line with no space. Doesn't look good. The third choice puts the text a bit above the line, looks perfect, except that there is now an additional line below the horizontal leader line, and that looks dumb.
Am I missing something? Has this feature matured more in later versions?
So, I'm trying to make moods for forums like this: and I don't know how to make my text move vertically or horizontally. The person who made this uses Gimp as well, so I know there is a way.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a door in plan view with visibility, flip, rotate, alignment and tag attributes. It all works well except when i rotate it, the text inside the tag rotates as well. I want the text to remain horizontal and read left to right while it rotates. I searched here for an answer but it's got me £@*%ed. It works when i flip it straight up and down.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy profile style settings are great but my Horizontal Geometry Text is overlapping. I want to be able to drag the text to keep it legible. Simlar to PI and PB labels on the horizontal alignment.

My first question is actually about something I am failing to do with Photoshop CS4. I create a text, rasterize it, then create the stripes via the rectangle tool (in this case I am messing with different national colors, like Germany). Now so far so god, but I never get around to actually be able to merge the strips with the text. The closest I have gotten is to see the text behind the stripes, but then the strips also covers the space between the text. I followed this tutorial for that: [URL]......
I looked at Your Sweet Candy tutorial and, excluding some steps, seems to be relevant, but for step 15, where I do not want to select stripes available inGimp, but create new ones.
I need to rotate a snipped of text approximately 23% forward from horizontal.
I'm using 2.6.11. this is what I'm doing:
Open a new file. Select the text tool and type in text (I've tried this both on a new layer and on the background layer). Click on the rotate tool and click on the text.
Inevitably, the gunsight appears in the center of the whole page, though the textbox is selected, and when I rotate it the text stays stationary and the rest of the page rotates.
I am trying to find a lisp routine that would allow me to rotate single letter text around a central point but keep the text (letters) horizontal as I rotate the letters about that central point. Is there anything out there that could accomplish this.

When a block containing and attribute is inserted at a rotated angle the attributes text is of course also rotated - The tag is called circuit so I tried this - need some lisp to alter the size of the text?

I made a simple block for a utility pole in plan view. It consisted of a donut with one string of mtext beside it. I had created it so that the text would orientate itself to be horizontal in each viewport regardless of the ucs angle. I later added a line for a guy wire and made the block dynamic with visibility states. Now I am unable to have the text orientate to a horizontal position in the viewports.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen creating text in model space it appears both mirrored and rotated 90 degrees to the horizontal. However, when I create text in paper space it is fine. I have tried looking at the properties for the text but although I can find a place to rotate the text back to the horizontal it is still mirrored and therefore unreadable.
When I copy paste stuff from one document to another this also occurs.
I am using Photoshop Elements. I have an image with text. When I flip it horizontally (to make a mirror image) the text changes as if now I am looking at it's back side. It looks very strange.

I have a problem with "new scroll feature" in Photoshop CS6 - I didn't find any discussion about that in whole internet (maybe I used bad keywords for the finding) How can I turn off this annoying horizontal scroll feature?
I over and over again do the same - by mistake scrolling horizontally instead vertically..
I like to set lines for cropping on the canvas. The vertical ruler is perfectly accurate. The horizontal ruler is off by alot. This is on cs4. The canvas size is adjusted to be A2 (420x594mm) The crop marks are with the ruler in inches to 16x20.

The problem is when I go to Edit > Transform Path, the Flip Horizontal, Flip Vertical, and Rotate 90/180 options are disabled. I can use the other transform options as well as Free Transform Path without problem. Why am I not able to use features like Flip Horizontal?
