View 6 RepliesI just got a new computer and installed Product Design Suite Ultimate x64. Every time I close Inventor, the window immediately stops responding, then will only go away if I stop the process. If I click "End Task" in the Task Manager, it will start to look for a solution to the problem, then immediately close. No error report displays. All other programs work with no issue. All of the settings are default as installed.
So far I have tried:
-Reinstalling with and without SP1
-Installing the latest Autodesk Certified graphics driver
-Using software graphics
-Running as Admin
-Launching in Vista and 2008 Compatibility Modes

I have a Mac OSX 10.6.8. I can't remember where to put new fonts and/or how to install them in Photoshop. I've been searching the web and have found no useful info! I downloaded the new fonts to Library/Fonts, but that's obviously not the main place to keep them so Photoshop can find them. Where should they be, and do I have to do something special to install them in Photoshop? (I have Photoshop CS5 Extended 12.0.1)
View 3 Replies View RelatedI did a couple of quick searches on this and didn't find anything that worked for me. I have a drawing done by another user and she used the archs.shx font. So I got a copy of this font off the Internet and installed it in my AutoCAD font file along side the dozens of other *.shx files which were located therein. But when I open up AutoCAD and try to choose this style it does not appear in the list.

What if I install it from CD, because on CD there is the older not fixed version of FontNav and I don't know what to do next. How can I update it after installing it or I have to remove all Corel programs, reinstall them and update to 16.4?
I tried Nexus font (finally) and don't see why people have mentioned it. I don't like it and uninstalled it quickly.Which font manager do you think is better than Font Nav?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI have CS2 Premium which I'm running on an older PowerPC Mac (G5 - Dual 2.3 GHz ) running OS 10.4.11. I've had this setup for many many years (registered/activated with Adobe) but suddenly one day I could no longer launch my Photoshop app: when I clicked on the Pshop icon it would start the launch (open) procedure ... and then almost instantly it would quit (in just a few seconds ... before the application even got to the 'title/credit' screen).
I've recently tried uninstalling CS2 (everything except Acrobat) and I ended up doing a manual uninstall of Version Cue. I've been on Macs for 20+ years so figured this would be a pretty straightforward procedure - uninstall -> reinstall and then back to work. Nope.
I'm attempting a fresh installation direct from the original CS2 CDs. In any event, when I try to (re)install CS2 - and after going through the standard screens with Adobe's usage terms agreement and installation hard disk selection - I arrive at the screen where one selects which application(s) to install by checking the various boxes (or alternately, to install the entire suite) but the 'Adobe Photoshop CS2/Adobe ImageReady CS2' line and checkbox are grayed out, so it will not allow me to check them and continue with the Photoshop installation process.
How do I re-install AI CC after it's been uninstalled because the initial install was corrupt? AI isn't availbale for download again in the app section of CC.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMonth ago, I installed Photoshop cs6 extended on my windows 8 machine. My probelm is simply the following; everytime I run cs6 my whole computer get frozen, so I have to go and force the shoutdown, like cutting the power. Sometimes I get lucky and photoshop works, then for some reason it freezes again.
I reinstalled it many times, I even reinstalled windows 8. I started to feel that this frequent crashes are even curropting my windows 8 files, in a point that windows 8 sometimes cant get to load from the first time so I hae to repair it. Windows 8 by the way works great with me, until I install and use photoshop. Now I have got a load of work that I cannot do because I cannot run Photoshop properly.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have legal copy of cs- operated fine for 8 mons -now only tool that selects on Tools is the eraser. The selection shows on the menu bar - but when placed on image does not work. The history pallette shows it is the eraser. OS Windows XP
Have run Norton utilities, disc opti., spybot, uninstalled/reinstalled.
When working in CS2 about every 10 minutes or so i'll go into my menu bar and it's locked up. No menu's drop down. The toolbox and all the tools and all keyboard shortcuts work but that's it. When I click on file, edit, etc. nothing happens. I have to ctrl+s and close Photoshop. A real pain in the ass. Adobe was no help so I'm reaching out to all you good people. My system is clean is any viruses, spyware and ad ware. I have no other problems of any kind and I'm working with small files (avg. 2 megs) with plenty of RAM (512 MB)

how I can uninstall/get rid of Photoshop CS3?
we discovered a potential bug or issue in photoshop:under daily working conditions, 8h per day, during the last months/year i can observe the following behavior:suddenly, at any action, the photoshop interface (all palettes, windows, everything) freezes and doesnt react on any mouse or button command. can wait for minutes, nothing happens.
found workaround: switch to finder by clicking with mouse pointer into the finder desktop, and switch back to photoshop > interface is back and reacts again, everythings fine. condition of bug: very annoying but can live with it so far through my workaround frequenzy: several times a day (up to 20 or 30 times per day)

When I make a text, and if I like to change the font style how can I do this with out having to click on the new font,
every time I choose a different font I have to click on that font, and if I don't like I have to click on a different one
I like to do it like in Flash MX I move the pointer over the list of fonts and may text change the font style with out click on it
I've bought the Adobe Web Premium CS4 package a while back (when they just released CS5) and I'm having huge issues now. Basically all my Adobe applications freeze up directly or do so when using them so I'm unable to get any work done.
It used to be sporadically but recently it started happening more often up to the point that I can't start Photoshop, Dreamweaver or Illustrator without it freezing up the after the program is launched, when opening a document or working on an existing document. I've just shot a bunch of photo's at a fundraiser and want to edit the RAW images but both Photoshop and Bridge freeze up when I try to open the photo's.
I'm on a 2010 iMac running OSX 10.7.5 with a 3.2GHz Intel Core i3 and 12GB memory. I realize CS4 on OSX is 32bits but problems with insufficient RAM shouldn't be a problem, I usually have 4-6GB RAM unused.
my photoshop freezes on hand tool.. i have to restart every time it happens. I'm using photoshop cs6
My mac specification: Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 ,Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB,Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5
I need to mention that it is a student master collection
I just updated my PS to 13.1 and after i restarted my system and continued to work with PS, it freezes plenty of times.
At first it was at random but then i could reproduce the error. When i try to scroll to the end of the styles list, PS will display the styles list not properly (see image below). When this happens i can't press anything else. I have to kill PS via the Task Manager.Never had a problem with PS before neither did i update something else in the meantime.
My System:
Intel Core i5 2500K
16 GB RAM
NVidia GeForce GTS 450Samsung SSD 830 Series
Windows 7 64Bit (Service Pack1)
I did a system restore now because i have to finish my work. PS 13.0.1 works fine, no issues. But not to update can't be the final solution...
