View 6 RepliesHow can I make pixel fonts look good? It seems everytime I use one at 10pt or 8pt they look really bad.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my fonts in adobe, because there is 1500++ fonts in my font book that already installed, but ,if i open my photoshop there is just 26 fonts that exist?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to CS5 and cannot scroll through the fonts and see the change in my type layer. I know it's supposed to work, but can't seem to find out why it isn't.
View 8 Replies View RelatedEvery once in a while my illustrator doesn't load up all the fonts in my computer and I have to restart it each time and this time restarting doesnt work at all.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open previous artwork files, to maintain or update, one of my fonts disappeared. Coreldraw does recognize the font when I open the artwork file, but within the artwork the text in this paticular font is blank. It's called Trajan Pro. All my other softwares recognize it and I can use it, except in Corel. Not sure how to get this fixed, since I never had this problem before.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to open my Illustrator application, it starts up, but right away when it is starting up it doesn't respond and it freezes while Illustrator is reading fonts.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was working on a project and went to change to a different font and all that was there are the last 6 or so that I used. When I go to the drop down menu It doesn't show any other fonts. I know there are a lot of fonts in the computer but cannot get them on the program.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just tried to open a CorelDRAW document on my other computer where I'm obviously missing one of the document's fonts.
Problem:
The CorelDRAW font substitution dialog does not list the missing fonts:
Thus, it's impossible to install them to get the document working as expected.x.
CorelDRAW Graphic Suite X6.4 @ Windows 7/Windows 8 - 64 Bit, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012
I want to see "resent" fonts when choosing, be able to type letter to get down the list quickly, group similar fonts, etc. Maybe have a magnifying glass attached to cursor to see fonts better.... Why have this not been done?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOnce I installed windows 7, while I WAS using PSE 9, I had the tiny font problem. I stopped using PSE for 2 years. I just installed PSE 11. Though better, the Font is still way smaller than I would like. Maybe it's just tougher for seniors? Can they not make the font adjustable? I was told there is no way to increase the size of the font?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt used to be that I very rarely used fonts within CS5 but recently I have. I realized that all of the fonts supposedly included with CS5 are not available via my drop down menu.
I then found these fonts in Windows/fonts so I copied all of those fonts into Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts. These unavailble fonts are now listed in that folder but are still not available via the dropdown menu in PS CS5.
I've recently read that the fonts don't really even NEED to be in the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder and that PS should actually make all of the fonts in Windows/Fonts available via the dropdown menu. Yes, I have restarted PS after copying the files and also tried rebooting my PC after copying the files. The fonts are still not available via the drop down text menu within PS even though all of them are now in both locations.
I have put some new fonts into C:/windows/fonts and they have come up in other programs e.g. Microsoft office but they are not showing up in photoshop.
i am using vista home premium with SP1 and it is 32bit and photoshop cs4.
I made a logo for one of my blogs but I can't seem to get the settings right.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from Photoshop CS3 to CS6. The patch tool did not appear to work as well in CS4 or CS5 and CS6 appears just as bad.
I've attached an image showing (from left to right) a patch using:
CS3;
CS6 Normal;
CS6 Content Aware.
CS3 is MUCH better.
my setup is: Pentax K20/80-200,2.8 Star ED, dual studio flashes with semitransparent white umbrellas, X-rite color proofing card, CS5, Syncmaster 214T with Spyder2 for calibration and Epson R2400 with all the proper ICC profiles..trying to repro an artwork with many nuances, particulary blue, red and yellow, the red one will show properly. The red gets smeary and too red.
The artwork has a little more of blue in it but that does not show up in the print, just on screen. The difference from screen to paper is too big for my taste (calibrated the day before). I've recently repaired the monitor with better quality capacitors to enhance performance.
I use glossy Epson paper. Also the blue seems to bleed when printed. Resolution of picture is 360dpi as recommended by Epson. I use "keep sharp edges"when enlarging it from the original 240dpi. This has the effect of retaining the colors at least on screen. Sharp image = more pure colors.
I am trying to make a logo. I have it complete but I do not likethat the text looks a little pixilated. I want to make the text look good, in other words make it look High Quality.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI heard wacom makes good tablets but is this still the case. Whats a good model i could get for under a 100 that would work the best with ps?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using it for architectural illustrations. I am looking for a stylus that will help with brush and line effects.
View 1 Replies View Relatedso i`ve scanned some pics, and simply used ps to crop them and when i`ve printed them off they`re quite pixilated, especially when they did`t seem that bad on the screen on ps. on the print set up the quality levels are all high photo quality level, so that should`nt be a problem. I`m just wondering what can be done to reduce the pixilation. is there an effect that`s good for this??
View 2 Replies View Relatedhow can I make a picture at low resolution, to look on the screen very good, like at high resolution (something else that "anti-aliased).

View 10 Replies View Relatednever knew there has a font folder in the user profile for Gimp until I wiped my user profile and moved all patterns, gradients, brushes, etc I have been putting in the program folder to the user profile folder because I read on here that it is better to keep all that stuff in the user profile folder of Gimp... my question is, what is the difference between installing your fonts into the system and placing them into the fonts folder in Gimp (besides all programs being able to use them)?? I've been installing all my fonts into the system I wanna use in Gimp... is it better to use the font folder in the Gimp user profile or to install them into the system?

View 3 Replies View Relatednoticed that in CS6 is u crop to 72dpi there is way to much sharpening applied to the image as compared to CS5. This is a real pain in the ass especially for a web developer.
View 9 Replies View Relatedive had a graphic requested and they want an explosion in the background. Was wondering if anybody knew a good tutorial to make explosions or how to make them in general?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm designing a real-estate flier for a friend and am trying to add some text to a white background. There is going to be plenty of text and photos on the sheet so I'm trying to use a font size of 8. When I printed this out the text was extremely blurry. I tried several different fonts with the same result.
What would be the best setttings to do something like this? I think I'm supposed to use CMYK Mode but am not sure about the resolution or the pixel dimensions.
I am trying to make a collage for a project and I need the pictures to have torn edges. Since I am using the original photos, I can't exactly tear them to pieces to get the look I am going for. So, please let me know if there is a good way to go about doing it in photoshop!
