Photoshop :: Enhance Writing On Poster - Darker / More Vivid
Aug 28, 2013
Just working on a little project for a good cause (Global Health Initiative). enhance the writing on the poster? Darker, more vivid, whatever to make it stand out more, while still looking realistic?
I want to desaturate this pic and add some blending things like I do on most pics but I want to keep the eyes blue. I went into quick mask mode...but I cannot make it look natural.
I have just purchased this upgrade software having used XARA Xtreme4.0 for many years. How can I change the black background screen with white writing to grey with black writing?
took photo of rainbow landing on a church doorstep. no neg. how to enhance colors of rainbow- narrow slight arch across half of photo. ? Have WOW 7 1click gradients but cant figure out how....
I managed to take some photos of the biggest fish in the sea, these really are once in a life time photos for me. Unfortunately I lost my underwater camera and the one I hired was not such good quality.
I would really like to "fix" these as much as possible. Their is alot of noise, the colour is off - the photos lack detail in either the shark, or myself. I was thinking I would have to work on the images separating myself and the shark and clean them up seperatlely. Either that or take the best photos of the shark, and the best images of me and combine them. Some people may say this is fake but IMHO it's just recreating
I need to use Color Variations under the Enhance > Adjust Color menu, but it's greyed out when I scan in an image. I know it doesn't work with Indexed Color images, but I don't think that's what I'm scanning in. I'm using Photoshop Elements 9 and an Epson Perfection V700 Photo scanner.
Looking for the steps for scanning so that I can actually use this option? It's very important.
PSE11, expert mode, when select enhance/adjust levels/lighting - the histogram does not 'pop up' as it did before, instead the dropper draw icon is enable and the only way to disable the dropper is alt F4, this is happening with other enhance options as well.
Note that the quick and guided mode are still working.
Expert mode was working fine till about 2 weeks ago, the only updates that have been done to the laptop have been the microsoft auto updates.
OS win 7 Java 7.45 flash player 12 active x
Have done an uninstall and reinstalled, but the issue still remains.
Need to understand what has caused the expert mode enhance options to be unusable.
I have Elements 10. Whenever I try to edit, brighten, enhance in any way animated GIF files with Photoshop, after I save the files again on my computer, the files no longer are animated, I.E they don't move no more.
I save the files as GIFs. The files were originally saved to my computer right, they moved like they should. How can I edit animated GIF files and still have them be animated?
I'm trying to compare a selection made with the Auto-Enhance check box on and off with the Quick Selection tool, though I'm not seeing a difference. My understanding is that it gives the selection a smoother, less blocky edge,
1. even though I'm not seeing a difference, is there a reason to just not keep it checked all the time? 2. Can you apply this checkbox after making a selection or only prior to doing one?
When I use the 'Convert to Black and White' menu option in Photoshop Elements 10, it does a good job, but it still leaves the file in RGB format (Colour)??
I am working for a Publishers, and I keep forgetting to convert the file to Grayscale after running the Wizard.
Wouldn't it have been easier to add this as an option at the end, and have they done this in Photoshop Elements 11 (or later...)?
I set levels in photoshop and then when I open them on my PC in Windows picture viewer they are much lighter and overexposed looking. How do I set up my photoshop CS2 to be at the same level.
way to get an image a have darker in the bottom , i need the image to get darker in a progressive way , starting from the middle and when get to the bottom , to be completelly black..
i'm downloading images and open them in photoshop. the only problem is that when i open them in photoshop, they all appear really dark, and when i view them in any other viewer they are lighter and how i saw them on the net.
I'm working on a poster for a production of Julius Caesar and I'm trying to create a propaganda poster very similar to the one below. Any ideas on how to turn a regular photograph into a style similar to the one of Lenin? I'll try and post the picture I'm working with as well as the example poster. I've tried posterizing and blurring and colorizing but I can't quite get the yellowy tint as well as the kind of dotted shadows seen in the picture.
I have for a long time been an advocate for the darker interface, using it mainly in After Effects. So it's great that the CS6 apps have taken this to other apps in the Suite. However Save for Web has been missed out it seems. Anyone else think this should be able to be darkened like the rest of the PS interface?
