I'm trying to install Elements 10 & it tells me to close "ShellExtLoader" to be able to continue the install. I don't know what this is & can't find it anywhere. So I'm stuck - it won't install.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a picture that I added people to from other pictures. Now I want to put this picture with the additions into a folder because I make calendars every year and wanted this picture in for the calendar. When I go into the picture and right click to try and make a copy the brushes and come up and tell me to pick a size and it looks like I am in the cloning and I cannot get out. I cannot see where I can click to say that I am finished with the editing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have no problem getting into my Photoshop Elements 8, have no problems going into Editing and editing photos, but when I try to get into the Organizer, Photoshop Elements closes, totally. This has happened in the past when I've been either working in Organizer or Editing, closed Photoshop, and then opened it shortly thereafter. However, if I closed it and waited several minutes, I'd have no problem getting into Organizer. Not this time. Was in it earlier today, couldn't get into Organizer when I tried later, waited a long time several times, with no luck.

One correction: If I open Elements and try to get into Organizer, Elements closes totally. If I'm in Edit and click on Organizer, nothing happens. I'm still in Edit, but can't get into Organizer from there.
Program will close when trying to print.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI open a jpeg in Organizer and then move to edit. BUt then I can't figure out how to save it or close it or whatever you are supposed to do. I just got through with one by exporting it so I could use it in a Publisher project, but it's still in Organizer (PSE9) with the infamous red band. I can't get into the editor because it's busy and I have to finish editing. It's like an endless loop.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to crop or move an image close to the edge of the canvas it jumps to the edge. I am having trouble especially with cropping the space between the image and the edge of the canvas the way I want it. turning off this jumping to edge problem I'm having?
Also, I've used CS4 a fair bit and haven't come across this same problem but in PE when I'm editing things like adjusting text on a layer and I'm changing options with hotkeys to resize the text box for eg, Elements seems to jump to the background layer quite alot and then I have to click back on the layer I want to edit between changing tools. Is it something to do with the Esc key?
When I try to load updates, I am informed that I must close cs5.5 bridge. I then do so. I then try to load but am informed that cs5.5 bridge needs to be closed.

I purchased and installed the Adobe design premium CS3.
Photoshop usually close sudently without saving files.
the close-up tool, which by default used a (+) sign to amplify detail, switched to a (-) sign to show detail further away from the viewer. That's the magnifyin glass icon. It must have happened when using the Alt key.
But the (-) mode became permanent and there was no way to change it back to (+), even after re-setting tools, and even after uninstall re-install.
It took uninstall and deleted a subdirectory and its contents, where P.S. stores user parameters, that it installed as (+) which is the default mode.
I've just upgraded Creative Suite CS4 from CS2. But now, wen i launch Photoshop for the first time, it's running normally.But if i want to close it, it seems to be closed, but a photoshop process is still remaining in memory and i cant launchPhotoshop until a kill the first process. The computer is Intel Core Duo based with 2 Gb memory and an ATI 3450 512 Mb vga card.

It happened again when I click Image >adjustments>brightness and contrast....it freezes and won't let me close photoshop. I can minimize photoshop and work on other things-just not photoshop.

I seem to be having a problem installing Adobe Photoshop CC , everything was working great in the beginning , but as soon as I began installing it I had a message display saying "Please Close The Following Application " Which in this case is Adobe Illustrator. I already have it closed , even in task manager , I can't see the Illustrator.exe.

I have been using the filter with out any problems at all up untill now.Today when I try to open it, all it does is flash up for a second and then close. It doesn't give me any error messages it just flickers and closes.

Photoshop doesn't crash, the other filters all work. Also I noticed in the filter drop down menu that the oil painting doesn't have a shortcut next to it like the others, and I cannot remember if it had one before or is suppossed to have one.
