Photoshop Elements :: Get Photo From PDF Attachment Into 10?
Jul 30, 2013
I got a photo in an email attachment that I want to crop and save in my Photoshop Elements 10. How can I do this? When I click on the attachment (The Writer.pdf - Adobe Reader) it appears in an Adobe window with these options: Export DDF, Create PDF, Send Files, and Store Files. I tried a few things but nothing works.
I need using the feature which allows users to send an edited photo via e-mail. I've done it 100's of times with earlier versions but can't locate the How To.
With Photoshop 11, when I Share a photo through Email attachment I am unable to add any text to the Email. Can this be fixed? If I purchase Photoshop 12 will I eliminate this problem?
HAve Elements 11 and can't get email attachment to work. Only choice for mail is adobe. Get no response when ask to resend email verification. Now what? Using vista
how should I size a photograph to attach it in sensible proportions to an e-mail when using Elements 11? In Elements 9 I set the dpi at 72 and then the longest length at 1024mm. he shortest length was set automatically by the programme. Elements 11 doesn't allow me to do this. I've tried starting off with 72 dpi but as soon as I enter the longest length the dpi changes. This did not happen with E9 and in E9 the size of the attachment was measured in KB's but with E11 I finish up with quite large MB sizes.
I am not able to share photos by attachment to e-mail with Elements 11. After I select the photos, etc. it goes through with "preparing photos" and that is it. It just goes back to the calendar screen shot.
I have PE9. When I try to send a photo as an email attachment, I cannot input any contact info. I get a pop-up that asks me to sign in to my Adobe ID. When I try, it says Photoshop.com is not available, error code 400. At no point do I get to a screen that allows me to input contact info, even from the Edit menu. I deactivated, uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Still have the problem. I don't have the problem on my laptop which I didn't provide with my Adobe ID.
When trying to place an image into a new document in photoshop elements 12, I select all-copy-paste the image (or even drag it) over to the new doc created. However, when I do this - the image does not paste in at the same size. It typically shrinks down in size. Do I have to save the file, close out and then open the new doc and PLACE it in the document in order for it to keep size? There must be a better way to do this. Basically, how can I drag a photo that is 4x6 over to a new doc while keeping the size at 4x6.
in elements 11 how can I extract a person from one photo and insert that person into another photo? I'm totally new to this and my software booklet doesn't say and I'm lost.
I did use the scissors and eraser tool to cutout unwanted background, and now I have an image I want to save and copy to another photo. The problem is that Elements 11 won't let me open up another photo at the same time, or let me copy the selected image to clipboard to paste on a different photo.
I have PSE 11 and I am creating a Christmas theme with various pictures. I have my main photo with 6 layers including a tree and figures which I can move independantly and the background is the checkerboard as the main layers are turned off with only my selections showing. I also have another photo where I have selected part of it and also turned off the main layers leaving a small part with checkered background. When I have the main photo loaded and drag the other one from the photo bin with the move tool, nothing appears on the main picture. I have already dragged the Christmas tree in the same way and that worked. By the way, all the files are .PSD.
I have Photoshop Elements 10 which I work with sparingly. I would like to outline a section of the photo (a face) and somehow select it to be the whole photo - in other words to get rid of all background elements. I can outline the area with lasso, but do not know how to just save that area. When I save, the whole original photo is saved. I also tried the magic extractor, which really worked to make just the face and crop everthing else out, but it has a white background the same size as the original photo, which means it is essentially a reactangle with a face in it. I am trying to just get the face so I can paste it into a document, sort of like when people put heads on fake bodies. This is for a church newsletter. I have done this with my old Picture It software, but that was on my old computer. I think I should be able to do this with all the gadgets Photo Shop has, but I must be missing something.
How can I blend a photo into another photo. In other words, when I load a picture into elements 9, and I load another picture on top of that one, How do I fade it in where it is seen but but is faded in?
I have a scanner issue and wanted to load a psd to show the problem (600 almost looks better than 1200) but when I upload, it gets rejected. It's ~21 M.
Another issue re: scanners. Mine only has jpeg, bitmap, png and a few other file types. These are actual photographs and I'd like to scan them in RAW.
I was wondering about how to use annotation attachment.
I am not getting how the option is used.
I am trying to attach some attachment to leader but it causes some saving in temp location (deeper in temp location) instead of creating the association to the leader.
Is there a way to attach any animated file in the drawing such that the attached image remains animated in the Drawing file also (for example animated GIF images)?
Please see attachment. There are two structure label styles in the attachment. The one on the bottom has the leader attached to the edge of the structure and the one on the top has the leader attached to the centre of the structure. How do I change the attachment point for the top label so the leader attaches to the edge of the structure as the bottom label does? Can't seem to find the parameter to change??
We have this problem at the moment with an Microsoft excel file that appears to have become stuck in the External references list, Ref C1-01-06. We would like to remove it if possible as it is now superseded (we can't change the file name unfortunately. What do we do if we can't reload, detach or bind? Its not referenced into anything else that is attached to the file, it is a direct attachment of the file that we are in.
