Photoshop :: Deactivated, Trying To Reinstall CS4,...
Jun 3, 2009I just deactivated my copy of Photoshop CS4 on one of my desktops running a windows XP prof. I did not uninstall, only deactivated. When I try to install CS4 on another computer (Win XP) I get the red cross indicating a wrong serial key.
I have only installed CS4 once. Registered the product. Does it take time before I can install the program again or do I need to do something so that I could install CS4 on another PC?

Dec 7, 2013Was always able to print multiple photos with borders/effects etc using a Dell computer but unable to do this with Mac Book Pro 15 inch. Firstly it directs me to "Editor"( i.e.unable to print from "Organiser ) but canot find "Picture Package".

I already did the migration of the photos to the iMac. I do not know how to setup the PSE10 library on the iMac (already installed). should i use iPhoto?
Also, I have a large number of photos and considering whether I should have 1 catalog or multiple? I organize my photos by trip or year depending... each folder can have over 1000 photos in it. I experienced very sluggish performance on the PC and I only had a couple of folders...

Nov 5, 2012I am trying to restore my catalog into a brand new iMac with Mountain Lion and max memory.
I have created the backup several times, reconnecting all pictures and writing the tag info to the pictures.
After the restore. All the pictures are present and the category info on them seems correct ( properties and icons on the thumbnails ).
The catalog shows all the categories and sub-categories but selecting a category just gets the message that np pictures match the category.
If I try reconnect it says it's not required.
I've tried 4 times and I'm assuming it should work.

I installed another 8 gb of ram but PSE fails to recognise the extra ram so I can only get it to use 3gb. If I reinstall will it recognise all my ram? Mar 25, 2013I recently purchased an Imac 27" and am trying several different ways to migrat my 27,000 picture library:
I do a backup on an external NTFS drive. I doc to MAC. On the first attempt, I was able to locate the tly file, but the backup failed at 63% on soime mpeg conversion error. Since that time, the Mac can no longer any files in the backup folder (however if i connect to PC the files are all there) I originally migrated the folder structure and imported all the photos. It asked me if I wanted to import all tags and i said yes. However, it filed all my tags inder "Other imported tags" section, and losing all my original tagging structure. I am now tryiong to write tag information to the files and transfer via Migration assisttant, but am worried I will have the sma results as above.
