Photoshop Elements :: Can't Edit Text Part Of Message
Dec 2, 2013When using PE11 for emailing photos I find that I can't edit the text part of the message. Everything else works fine. I never had this problem with PE5.

I have my email sharing preferences in PSE 11 set to use Adobe Email Service. I successfully verified my email and I am able to send photos using this service; however, I am not able to edit the message that accompanies the photos. I can type in the address line and subject line of the email dialog box. But, I am not able to type in the body of the message. I would like to be able to write a personalized message. I believe that I was able to type a message in previous versions of PSE.
Type a custom message when using Adobe Email Service? If yes, how can I enable that feature?

I have a family photo including many text layers. I'm trying to edit the text in a selected large multi-line text layer. I'm following the steps from the appropriate PSE article, but I always end up creating a new layer and the red/green no-go/go option. I thought I should just be able to double-click the text layer and start editing.

Oct 24, 2012Just purchased Elements 11 - excellent product at the price and am having a great deal of fun using it.
One frustrating flaw within the Photo E-mail service....
I've been using the Adobe e-mail service and it sends e-mail just fine having set up the account as required.
Each new e-mail appears with the text "Here are the files I want to share with you."
Now I'd like to replace that with some different text. I can delete it and replace it on the first editing page, and it stays there after I click 'Next' to the following 'Customise Layout' section.
Clicking on 'Next' after this page, we have the final e-mail page, and the text has reverted back to 'Here are the files I want to share with you' again......
I can delete it again, but cannot type in any further text anywhere on that screen.
Shame, because the programme generally is superb. Have transformed a number of pics already, and it would be nice to use the e-mail prog that's built in as I'd like to use it, adding text as required. Otherwise, why have all the font and layout choices available if not??
Photoshop Elements :: Deleted Text Option While In Edit Mode Under Content
Sep 7, 2012I was trying to get rid of text and change it. I have no clue how to use this product but thought I would mess around with it. I think I really messed up. I clicked on the letter and then drug to the garbage can thinking I was deleting the text. It said permanently deleted and I now don't have the text option under content. How do I get it back?

Feb 13, 2012I have created an action in Illustrator CS5 that ungroups a radar graph and deletes the axis lines. And I would like to run this action on a batch of 100 files. The problem I am having is that when I run the action, I get the following pop-up message at the ungroup command:
If I click OK, the action continues. But, as part of a batch, it becomes a bit tedious to have to click "OK" 100 times, and it sort of defeats the purpose of running the action as a batch.
I see options in the batch window to override action "Save As" and "Export" commands, but is there a way to have the batch override this confirmation message? I suspect there may be a way to do this with a script, but I am not proficient enough with scripting yet to take that route.

Aug 2, 2012I'm working with our new copy of AutoCAD 2013 and using the Visual LISP IDE to create code. I also have an AC2009 machine right next to me for other tasks. On the 2013 machine when I click the "Load Active Edit Window" button it switches to the console screen but there are no messages printed like:

This of course is making it extremely difficult to debug. I have checked the environment settings and they are exactly the same on each machine. The AC2009 machine prints the messages but the AC2013 machine is just giving me a blank console screen.

Apr 29, 2012I'm having this strange issue with the Photoshop type tool in Photoshop CS5. It might be, although I'm not sure, a bug. The tool itself is working and lets me add text and edit. But the box that shows up when editing text (and the blinking line that shows where I am in the text) - has gone invisible. I am having this issue in only one document. - I tested the type tool on other documents, and everything was normal. I've looked up shotcuts and hotkeys to check if I've tapped a key or something, but it doesn't appear to be so.
Now about the document; it does have quite the amount of text layers, and a lot of text in them. I've tried resetting the type tool, and I've restarted the program.
When I restart the program, the tool works as it's supposed to - but after editing or adding a new text layer, the editing area is gone again! Is this a bug, or have I touched keys that do odd things?

I have parts with lots of faces and need to rotate all the faces at the same time, like 2012.
Also, I need the changes to be updated in all iparts, whereas at the moment the Adjust only seems to affect each one. Again, much less limited, but I need the option to update all at once too.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Can't Edit Step Import Part
Dec 20, 2011I got this part from a customer and when i try to say cut off one end of it (because it is a casting and i need to put a few machined features on it) it will not let me? I am using the datum planes to sketch on so it shows you the part sideways or longways. i tried both different planes. it seems if you try doing it looking into the part it lets you but not from these planes.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Edit Mirrored Part Parent?
Oct 10, 2012I was wondering if there is a way that a mirrored part can be redefined. Problem I have is that after renaming the parts in the assembly the mirror will no longer update and references the original part before being renamed. I can't seem to find a way to redefine this so my mirrored part will update. To date I have been deleteing out the mirrored parts and creating them again.

May 22, 2008I have Photoshop Elements 5.0, but not Premiere Elements. I'm creating a slide show of 415 photos, and I added a soundtrack with about 10 music tracks. All the music tracks have been copied from music CDs. It works fine in Preview mode; but when I save it as a .pdf file, it won't play back with the entire soundtrack. The sound stops after about 2 tracks, and I get an error message. The error message reads:

Acrobat has encountered an error while playing this media clip.
It doesn't appear to be a file size problem. I've tried saving it as a medium size file, instead of a large file, but I still get the same error message when I open the saved file. (The large file is 170 MB; the medium file is 134 MB.) Also, there doesn't seem to be a problem, if I only include 2 music tracks.
Does Elements 5.0 support this kind of soundtrack? Will it work if I get Premiere Elements 3.0? Or do I need to get Elements 6.0 and Premiere Elements 4.0?
