Installation went smoothly. But I discovered Adobe does not include the latest ACR version. SO I have ACR 7.1 installed. Well, it does not support the D7100
Went to Help menu. Updates option is not highlighted. Cant use it!!! Why ? My product is installed and registered ?
Anyway, I went to the ACR download page. No ACR 7.4 alone but ACR with DNG. What the hell I took the last one. Version 8.1
Downloaded DNG 8.1 and installed it. Fine. Well, I can start DNG alone but no ACR visible. Back to PSE 11: It still only sees ACR 7.1
Have I downloaded ACR when I downloaded DNG ?
Should I download it separately ? Where from ?
If I did download it, how do I make PSE 11 recognize ACR 7.4 is available?
Extremely frustrating evening: I hesitated upgrading to PSE 11 for months because of this type of problems. When I finally take the jump, it hits me in the face.

Feb 26, 2013It said there were updates in PSE 10 (help/updates) for Application Manager and Camera Raw. I let it install both, I rebooted, and the ACR says 6.7 and not 7.3. It will not read my Canon 6D RAW files. When I check help/updates again, it says everything is up to date.

Jan 14, 2013Apologies if this has been dealt with before but a quick search hasn't revealed anything. Downloaded Elements 10 Editor from the Apple App Store and have been using it without problems.
Have just updated my EOS5 to an EOS5D Mk.III, downloaded the latest RAW Plug-in but I keep getting an error message saying this update is "not for me". The work around is to covert files to dng and then open but this creates lots more files. So in a nutshell how do I update the RAW converter?

Dec 14, 2012I updated Camera Raw today (12-14-12) through the Adobe Software Updater. Now when I start PSE 11, I get a message that the software has exceeded its activation limit.
I rebooted the computer, and the same problem re-occurred. Upon startup, PSE 11 pops up a message that the software activation limit has been exceeded.
Let me be clear, I bought the application from Adobe, I have a valid license that was delivered from Adobe via email, the software has only ever been installed once, on this machine.

Mar 7, 2014PSE 12 was working fine until I updated to 12.1. The opening screen comes up as before when you click on the desktop shortcut. The organizer will start from the opening screen, but not the editor. I changed the option to have the program open the editor directly instead of the opening screen and now nothing appears when you click on the desktop shortcut. I am able to open both the organizer and editor by clicking on their respective exe files in the program folder. I am running Windows 8.1 / 64 on a Dell Inspiron 3847 w/ 8 GB of memory.

Mar 28, 2013I'm at the stage where I input my date of birth and choosing a personal URL for Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. I DO NOT use symbols. I have tried simple words and names and sometimes include numbers. I've checked both boxes referring to updates and agreeing to the Terms of Use. I click on Update Account and I get this message:
"And error has occurred, and your changes were not saved."
I have registered the program on the website. My account is identified and recognized. Why can't I get passed Update Account? Why must I have a personal URL if it's the only thing stopping my progress?
