Photoshop Elements :: How To Dispose Off Preliminary Download Files

I just downloaded Photoshop Elements 11 using the Akamai software. I now have big files on my desktop:
-- 1.16GB Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 folder;
-- 1.21MB PhotoshopElements_11_LS15 extractor file;
-- 10.5MB Akamai_NetSession_Installer application; and a
-- .98GB PhotoshopElements_11_LS15.7z file.
What am I to do with these files? Can I put them in the trash? Do I need to save them somewhere for some reason, and if so, why and where?

And several related questions. This is new to me in Ps CS6 (Mac OS 10.7x, dual displays). Image files always appear in a second window but will open no larger than will fit into this first window. Once open I can open my image window to extend beyond the original empty window. If I have images open and I close this empty window my images close too. How did I become so unfortunate and how do I become fortunate again?
Related questions:
In Ps CS5 I used to be able to move the image edge to well within its window to facilitate work at or near an edge. This is not possible for me in Ps CS6 and I can find no way to change it.

i have a combo box which choose from 3 items one is blank. the triggered item changed event will erase the old set of corresponding xdata in the selected object and populate with new ones read from different text boxes. i was able to set the xdata for the first time ok. but when trying to dispose it won't dispose.

I have photoshop cs5.1 extended on a win7 desktop and photoshop touch on an android tablet. I've read that there is a plugin called touch app plugins and I'm directed to adobe's download page but that plugin does not seem to exist there. Where can I download the plugin to open .psdx files in photoshop?

I just purchased and attempted to download pse 12 (i had version 6) onto my Mac osx and it will not open. Either a box of random script opens or I get an error message that says there is no application to open this software.

i bought adobe cloud and i started downloading all the software and deleting old version. I didn't know there was a special way to delete adobe application so i just dragged it into a program called app cleaner and it deleted all the files. But it won't let me put cs6 photoshop on my computer because it still thinks i have cs6 photoshop beta. how can i get photoshop back onto my computer.

I just shot my first batch of RAW images using the new Nikon D800. When I downloaded the images using Bridge the thumbnails in the download dialog shows the images. But after download the images are not being shown. Instead I get an icon. If I double click on an image I get a message that camera RAW doesn't recognize the file and a recommendation to update.
I have checked updates from within Bridge and from Photoshop and both tell me that everything is up to date. Photoshop tells me the camera RAW plug in is 6.6 and that is the latest shown on the Adobe download page. According the the information page 6.6 is compatible with the D800.

I am trying to load the Actions Exchange for PSE11 as recommnded by Scott Kelby but can't open the .ZXP file from Adobe. Searching the net seems to produce various programs that all look a bit dodgy and seem to want to do other stuff e.g. Regedit. What I should do to open this file in a safe and simple way. Why doesn't Adobe Bridge download files from "get photos from camera", error message" Adobe Bridge CS6 cannot obtain files from this device. ensure that the device is connected properly,or that the battery is charged,and try again.
When I'm using a card reader that does not require batteries, is it because they are Leica DNG files??? I have managed to drag and drop instead but would prefer to use "get photos from camera".

I had Elements 11 since it came out and it is only now that I decided to use it cause I was using Paint Shop Pro X5 Ultimate (which I am use to). Anyway, my question is where do i download frames to use for my graphics and also what directory/folder do i put it? Also can i use frames from PSP X5?
