I am having difficulty downloading my raw images to photoshop elements 11. Files are currently on a thumb drive, but I don't know how to download to elements. I have the thumb drive plugged in --- not sure where to go from here. I have verified that I have the plug in - version 7.1.0.354.

I use my card reader to download images. In PSE11 how can I be selective in the number of images I download at any one time. Say there are 200 images on the card & only want to download the last 20. How do I avoid downloading all 200 images & then having to delete the 180 I had already previously downloaded?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just shot my first batch of RAW images using the new Nikon D800. When I downloaded the images using Bridge the thumbnails in the download dialog shows the images. But after download the images are not being shown. Instead I get an icon. If I double click on an image I get a message that camera RAW doesn't recognize the file and a recommendation to update.
I have checked updates from within Bridge and from Photoshop and both tell me that everything is up to date. Photoshop tells me the camera RAW plug in is 6.6 and that is the latest shown on the Adobe download page. According the the information page 6.6 is compatible with the D800.
If it is possible to download images to my hard drive so that I have connected to a WMS server to obtain? Basically I am wanting to be able to send an autocad drawing with an aerial image to someone that does not have autocad map, and wanted to know how I can download the image so that I can send it to the person with the autocad drawing so that they can see the same aerial image that i do.

When I plug the reader into the USB port I get an error message saying, "images on card do not meet download criteria". The thumbnails appear in Library mode but when I click on "Import", another error message appears saying the files could not be read.
As recently as last week I successfully downloaded images from the same card. As usual I reformatted the card before going on today's shoot.

The first step was to uninstall the current version of the Browser. I did that. When I tried to download the update, I got a note saying something called "AIR" was required and would be downloaded. As the downloading proceeded, a not appeared saying that an error had occurred. I couldn't finish the download. Now I have no Inspiration Browser, which is evidently necessary in order to view some videos and tutorials.
