View 1 Replies View RelatedI've imported a photo of a striped shirt into PSE 6. I want to put some text on top of the shirt. Unfortunately, the stripes on the shirt make it difficult to read the text.
So I though if faded the stripes a little--where the text will be--that will fix this problem.
So I need to know how to fade just that one section of the photo where the text will be. I don't want to fade it entirely--just enough so that the text is readable. That is, I want the stripes to still be somewhat visible. How much I fade them will be up to me.
1, in elements 12 how can i put two different photos side by side, then how can i clone a part from one photo on to the other?

Anyway I'm attempting to superimpose 2 images (same pixel size) that I have used layer properties to make semi-transparent, and I'd like to copy/paste one of them into the other one, and then make it so that you can see both, as they are both transparent ....
I'm trying to superimpose a label I made in Photoshop on an image of a glass bottle. I have to provide a front and rear view (so obviously the label will be reversed on the rear). The problem I'm having is with the back-side of the label. I'm trying to make it look like it's on the other side of the bottle and therefore require some kind of glass diffusion simulation.

1. Attach head of the female model to the mannequin body.
2. Change skin tone of the mannequin so it matches the skin tone of the model
3. The hands, legs, torso of the mannequin should look realistic. How can this be done? It's easy to just change the skin tone of the mannequin but making the mannequin look realistic is becoming a challenge.
4. check the attached document. The first image is the finished product where female model image is superimposed on a mannequin. Second image is a white mannequin that needs to look similar to the first image.I am not adding the female model image now. I will do that once i know if this is even possible.
Just wondering what command I use to drop out part of a photo? i have it selected, flattened and now just want it gone!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Photoshop Cs3 and know a little about it. I have a photo I scanned in at 600 ppi and I want to select part of it - blow that up to an output of at least 8" wide.
I do not have Illustrator - I use a Mac and am currently working on a project with Mac's program ipages.
I have a photo (attached) and wish to do two things with it. I hope a) to emphasise both the earthenware texture of the vase and its wooden background to give the image some contrast and b), to recolour the brown fence in royal blue. I have tried to do this using the eyedropper tool and then Image | Adjustments | Replace colour, but because the vase itself is coloured in a shade of brown I find that in addition to blue replacing brown as the fence colour, it also replaces it as the colour of the vase.
So, I somehow need to 'lift' the vase from the image, then recolour the fence in isolation, and then put the vase back into the photo - but I am not sure how to do that.
I have a photo in RAW format, shot with a flash where the photo is properly exposed except for the face on the subject. It is badly overexposed. Any tips on correcting exposure in just that area? I think I understand the general steps - mask and correct, but would like any tips since this is the first time I'm doing such a thing. Usually, exposure correction for me involved the entire photo.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to place an image into a new document in photoshop elements 12, I select all-copy-paste the image (or even drag it) over to the new doc created. However, when I do this - the image does not paste in at the same size. It typically shrinks down in size. Do I have to save the file, close out and then open the new doc and PLACE it in the document in order for it to keep size? There must be a better way to do this. Basically, how can I drag a photo that is 4x6 over to a new doc while keeping the size at 4x6.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'd like to superimpose (overlay) an image onto a background image that is comprised of stripes on a white (or transparent) background. I don't want the overlaid image to appear between the stripes, only on them. Is there any way to do this without having to erase the overlay image where it covers the white/transparent background?
Example: imagine the red and white stripes of the American flag, and I want to overlay the text of the Gettysburg Address on the flag, but only on the red stripes, and the text itself is rotated at about a 15 degree angle to horizontal. Much of the text will, thus, be missing, and it won't be readable as a text, but that's exactly the effect I want.
On Adobe Elements 11 can you rotate an insert to a photo without rotatine entire photo?

I'd like that area to be easier to read than it currently is when printed in a book project I'm working on. How can I lighten that area so the handwriting is readable, without making it feel too bright, and have it still blend with the rest of it's side AND the other side of the spread?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have two different models that I want to place on top of one another in a drawing. One is a before machining and the other is after. I would like to be able to show one model with a different line type on the drawing and have it superimposed on the other drawing so that somone can see them both and the difference between them. I looked at the Positional Representations feature and it does not seem to do this.
I am using Inventor 2013.
I have a road centerline alignment/profile. And I have a proposed storm line that can runs along either side of the road. I showing the storm line in the road profile view and am superimosing the stormline surface profile onto the main road profile view.
I also need to show (superimpose) utilities that cross the storm line onto the road profile view, I do not see that civil 3d can do this. The closest thing i have thought to do is place a block at elevation at the crossing utility crossing and then project the block onto the road profile view. (I don't see how a pipe would work for a existing utility because if it does not cross the road alignment it can not be shown at all.)
This is not the best solution because if the proposed storm line moves all the utility crossings (blocks) will need to be moved and have the elevation updated.
Is there a dynamic way to show the utility crossings?
