View 2 RepliesElements 9 , I can not save the contact book. I have tried entering info. in the shared photos e-mail and in the edit contact book , nothing saves for the next time you use the program.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to save contacts in either Elements Organizer 10 or 11 in the Contact Book, it saves nothing. After I click the save button and reopen the contact book, anything I entered is gone.
I've tried entering names as I'm preparing to send e-mail, I've tried doing it through Edit>Contact Book..., and even by adding a New Group to the Contact Book before entering new name, none of which work.
I saw how to create and print a contact sheet, but I want to save it and then email it. I don't see how to do that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have X5 and am trying to figure out how to get the specific entries in the Media File area to save with the project they were used and saved in.
If I use 5 video and 1 audio files in a saved project, I would like those 6 entries to show up in the media library each time I open the project.
Is there a way to do that?
I used to know how to save my X5 configuration (screen layout, options settings etc.) by saving some registry entries. I've forgotten how to do that. I'm using 7 (not pro) now, how to do that again?

I want to keep all my class photos separate from my personal stuff. I created a separate folder for the photos and a separate catalog. Since I had imported the photos before I created the class photo catalog, I need to move the catalog entries - how do I do that?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen it's time to print and save contact / index sheets, Lightroom enters another dimension.
Workflow as normal up to this point: Import (with 1:1 previews) a folder of NEF+JPGs, maybe a hundred or two. Edit, rename and export. Enter the Print module and setup (for the thousandth time) a contact sheet showing maybe 30-50 pics per page.
Select "Draft Mode Printing" and hit PRINT and sit. The "preparing print job" progress bar appears and starts to tick off images, at about 10 seconds apiece. In LR2 this *entire process* took 1-2 seconds. So, an hour and a half later, my contact sheets are ready. I could hand-draw them faster.
It does it in LR3, LR3.2 and LR 3.3. It *never* did it in LR1-2.7.

I would like to use the contact sheet and save instead of print. I see you can use it almost like a template in the Mac version, but in the PC version all you can do is print.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have PE9. When I try to send a photo as an email attachment, I cannot input any contact info. I get a pop-up that asks me to sign in to my Adobe ID. When I try, it says Photoshop.com is not available, error code 400. At no point do I get to a screen that allows me to input contact info, even from the Edit menu. I deactivated, uninstalled and reinstalled the program. Still have the problem. I don't have the problem on my laptop which I didn't provide with my Adobe ID.

I want to include a 3000 word story on 3 or 4 pages. I have spent hours trying to do this. I thought I would be able to easily copy and paste from Word but that isn't working for me. I have retyping the whole thing in "Your Text Here". I can't seem to make it work. Pane sizing is an issue. Editing after I have typed several paragraphs. I am about to give up. I can't locate any tutorials etc on how to do this. I bought Elements 11 for Dummys and they might as well have skipped photo books. It was useless.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to create a book, for home printing, to cataloge the life of my new dog. It could therefore eventually contain a large number of pages and I will need to add pages as time goes by.
But I would also want to print pages as they are designed and add them to the binder on a regular basis. Problem is that I have been completely unable to find any option for printing selected pages.
The programme only seems to be capable of printing the whole project, which means that if I have 50 pages all of them will be printed once I hit the Print button. I have searched all of the print options, page set up otions etc. but cannot find anything that allows me to print, say, pages 25-30.
