View 1 Replies View RelatedTried to sync up Reflow CC with Photoshop CC with no luck. Re-started, re-downloaded, re installed and again, no syncing was possible. Searched for a plug-in people mentioned I could manuallly install, no luck finding. Chatted with support, and was told to call as I needed more of a "specialized techinal support". Called, spoke to nice man who was supposed to transfer me to a "specialist" who could further assist me, but after 40 mins of waiting on the phone, I hung up. Re-started, re-downloaded, re installed AGAIN, only this time Edge Reflow promped and error message when I tried opening it: "...Environment No Longer Supported...".
Although Edge Reflow isn't one of the main tools (yet) in my workflow, and I know It's still in beta, I'm already pretty frustrated with the whole process so far in terms of getting it to work. It looks like it has a lot of potential and really wanted to give a try...
I still don't have this option from the generate drop down menu Where is it, thought it was included in this update
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if you could generate a 3D poly line from a surface which I have sliced. I am trying to establish retaining wall heights in a cutting on an embankment. I have generated the slope using 2 3D polylines offset and edgesurfed between them. I then put my proposed footpath at the desired location. When I needed to slice the mesh I had to convert it to a surface. It worked but I now do not have any nodes that I can connect vertical lines to in order for me to design wall heights etc.
Is there a way to generate a 3D poly from the sliced edge of a surface.
I made a simple file with a retangular box in a new layer, which I filled with a color. I then added an image in another layer. I labeled the image layer as a image.png.
The image was transferred as an asset to Reflow, but not the retangular box.
I have tried all kinds of shapes, and none of them are transferred to Reflow.
What am I doing wrong?
We are using iPart - iAssembly workflow with Inv-2013 and Vault Basic 2013
My question is related to released state of iparts. Currently we are generating/ releasing
all the iparts when new member is added in order to manintain the parent child version relationship
Example : say i have a ipart 41020.ipt and i have members 41020- 001 ~ 008 . I check out the parent
from Vault and add 009 member to it.
Question :
Do I have to generate all and check those in to maintain the version relationship between the child and parent inside
Vault 2013 ?
Or
Only generating 009 will maintain version relationship inside Vault 2013

Is there a way to feather my edges with increased intensity closer to the edge? To be specific, I'd like to start the feather 100px inside the border with 60% opacity, all the way to the edge (border) with 0% opacity. I tried doing this manually a couple of ways and it just didn't look uniform.
I have also tried with the eyes seperated (without the middle area), but I still have the same issues.
When I go to crop or move an image close to the edge of the canvas it jumps to the edge. I am having trouble especially with cropping the space between the image and the edge of the canvas the way I want it. turning off this jumping to edge problem I'm having?
Also, I've used CS4 a fair bit and haven't come across this same problem but in PE when I'm editing things like adjusting text on a layer and I'm changing options with hotkeys to resize the text box for eg, Elements seems to jump to the background layer quite alot and then I have to click back on the layer I want to edit between changing tools. Is it something to do with the Esc key?
How do I fade the edges of a photograph into the background so there is no hard line? Once I did it by spraying the background color over the photo outline, but I know there is a better/easier way. What standard filters apply only to edges? I frequently want to do a torn edge, wavy edge, etc.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to replicate the attached effect and am wondering the best way to go about doing so. I need to make mocks of a Facebook game for this company so it should be a close as possible. Particularly, I need to generate the blurry circles and grainy-ish effect that is primarily seen on the orange background where the nav bars lies. I could, of course go circle by circle, but I feel like I've seen a filter to create these circles before.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI believe it was in CS4 that Adobe expanded the use of automatic layer masks ... perhaps it was with adjustment layers (I'm not quite sure)
I don't know about others, but it would save me considerable time in the long run if every new layer, (whether it is generated as a copy, from a plug-in, as a cut, or as a new blank layer) recevied an automatic layer mask. It takes no file space, but more often than not I find myself needing one. It sure would be nice to jump right into masking rather than having to first create the layer mask. Why did they stop at adjustment layers?
Am I alone in this?
This was a handy feature in previous versions, but I cannot find it in the '12' version. Is there an alternative way to generate a tag from a folder name?

I have an existing HTML page (created in Adobe Muse) and I am trying to draw some Adobe Edge objects on top of the page (e.g. a rectangle or an image). When I look in the layers panel, the Edge objects show as top in the list. However, visually when I look at the page, the elements show behind the pre-existing HTML page from Muse.

I would want it to fill a grid, with a patch of the color with the colors name underneath it, and with the name of the swatch as a header on a black background. Maybe even with the lab, cmyk and rgb values underneath each color. The colors need to be arranged in the same manner as in the swatch.

I have a hardware/software monitor calibrator to calibrate my desktop PC monitor for Photoshop work. However, when I transfer these photos to my phone, they display with an ugly color tint.
Is there anyway to display photos correctly on a cellphone or tablet that cannot be calibrated? In theory, it should be possible to generate a color profile for the phone/tablet and store the profile on a PC. Then I can convert photos to this color profile in Photoshop before transferring to the phone/tablet.
Using Autocad 2000LT and trying to locate as many 1.5" diameter circles as I can within a 21" diameter circle keeping all the circle .500" apart from any other circle and .500" away from the outer edge. Am using the array function. Trying to bring the first circle up to the line thats .500" in from the 21" outside diameter.
First when I zoom the 1.5" circle looks like a series of lines, not a smooth round circle. First how do I smooth out the appearance of the circle. Second, what commands do I use to move the edge of the circle to just tough the line so that when I measure from the outside dia to the far edge of the small circle I get 2".
In version 5.2 for Mac i'm seeing Export -> Long Edge / Short Edge giving the wrong result... they seem to be inversed... I.e. defining a long edge seems to result in an exported image with that length as the short edge.
