I just installed my CS6 upgrade (Design Premium) and noticed that all of the CS5 folders are there in addition to CS6.My hunch is that it's still there because it needs to be, but if not, I'd rather have the space free.
View 4 Repliesim trying to make some text appear over a texture, and as I've been using programs such as GIMP and Paint.net before I know from them that you can have layers do this. Layers have depth settings, so layer 1 will be the lowest and so on. But it don't find these settings in autocad.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having is that when I have a shape layer with multiple shapes and I group that layer with other layers, transforming the group gives unexpected results. Currently what is happening is that all none shape layers are getting transformed uniformly and shape layers only transform uniformly shapes that are selected with the path selection tool. Previously transforming a group ignored shapes that had been selected using the path selection tool and transformed the entire group uniformly.

So for instance I create a shape layer with 3 ellipses and I select one ellipse to work on. After I create three other layers while working and I put all four layers into a group. I transform the group and what happens is that everything in the group except for 2 ellipses are now being transformed.
I am using a Nikon D5100 and shooting in raw. When I upload the photos to i Photo they are raw files. When I open them in Photoshop CS6 they are jpgs. I tried uploading the photos to Bridge CS6 and they imported as jpgs. How to open the files so they remain raw and not jpg?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf it is possible to hide a layer but make its effect remain visible. I cant make the layer all white, put the effect on it and then blend it with multiply because the background its transparent so it wont work .
P.D.: the effect im trying to do is an inner glow, I know I can do it manually but i was wondering if its possible to do that.
I've been using the pen tool for almost a month now… I'm actually getting pretty good with it now, mainly using it to make my selections more precise… I haven't even bothered to try to draw with it, yet…Â

Anyway, I was already kind of sleepy when I started to outline the chopper with the pen tool… I got pretty tired & saved what I have done into a PSD. In Illustrator I know it would probably save my anchor points…

When I click on my Path palette, I can see some of my outline… But, the rest of it is filled in with white as a shape…With all of that said, in Photoshop… Is there anyway I can pick up where I left off tracing the nice Harley-Davidson?
Or… Do I have to start all over?Â

I already tried to use the Direct Path tool & Direct Selection Tool… My anchor points remain hidden.
I just upgraded from photoshop cs4 to cs6 and all my "stuff" did not transfer over. By "stuff" I mean my actions, my Imagenomic noiseware and protraiture plugins, and various things I'm sure I'm not even aware of yet...

I've been working with and adding things to my cs4 for so long I couldn't even list them all... I just know I'm going to be missing things. How to properly transfer over all my cs4 files to my new cs6 copy? Is there a link or a blog that tells you how to do this most efficiently? I thought cs6 would overwrite cs4 and transfer everything for me but now understand that is not the case.

(I think I have imagenomic portraiture and noiseware figured out- downloaded new copies of the software). Can I just drag any items from the cs4 files in applications (on a mac) to my new cs6 files?
Everytime I add a shape or text the effects used last appear on my new stuff without my wanting it there. I have cleared my workspace and even when I begin a new project it still happens.

There are two problems
frist i don't know what font and size of the word is. But i do know it is from Ms Office
second the number are in boxes the numbers are in the same group of line and in the box but if i just remove the number by a rubber and insert number into it then people would tell that i changed it.
i want to remove the color and keep the text and the boxes.
so just make it look like a whote and black paper.
For what i know of if i use Photoshop CS3 andi sure the eyedrop to get the color of the background and the arrow it would give me the color of it and it's RGB. but if i eyedrop this how can i change the color i want to remove?
if it will remove can all the color become white the background and the arrow.
and what should i do if i want to keep the arrow?
Remeber the img is scaned not the orginal word DOC.
if i want to edit the text on the image how do i do that how do i know what font it is and how can i make the excact box? for example the first box is 1 i want make it 20 how do i do that?
I have recently started using CS2. I am noticing a weird problem when I move stuff around. It is almost acting like its "Snapping". In other words, if I try to move an object, text, selection area or whatever, its jumping about 2-3 pixels in the direction I move it instead of moving smoothly. Its kind of like macromedia flash snap to grid action. I looked all around to try and find settings for the pointer but no luck.

I'm used to photoshop on a PC, and on them ( at least the versions older than CS3 ) if you want to make a selection of something on a layer you just go cntrl click.
But on a mac I'm told you need to select that layer then go select all then use the magic wand tool, which probably won't be 100% accurate.
when i change the blending modes, to not store in history, because i find it useless and it takes a lot of history states untill i dont have mutch undos to go further back.

View 6 Replies View RelatedJust noticed this (first use of Max in a few days) so not sure what is going on, but any type of vertex (smooth, bezier, etc.) does nothing to change any vertex but they all remain corners. I get bezier handles and moving them apart moves the handles but does not change the shape of the lines going into the vertex.

If I open a ps file that's big, copy the content, and paste it into a smaller document, I have to do a Command-0, to be able to view the whole image with handles on the pasted content, then manually pull a corner with shift held down until it's close to the size to fit, then manually size the whole thing back up to 100%. Craziness.

Why can't I paste content into another doc, have the transform handles be there, with the clipboard content sized within the window?

This is simply a request to find a way to paste something big, into something smaller, without having to zoom out until I can see the transform handles.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a door in plan view with visibility, flip, rotate, alignment and tag attributes. It all works well except when i rotate it, the text inside the tag rotates as well. I want the text to remain horizontal and read left to right while it rotates. I searched here for an answer but it's got me £@*%ed. It works when i flip it straight up and down.
