View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to disable lightroom 4 from importing or processing any file with a video extension mkv, 3gpp etc, as its really slowing down my workflow.
Â
My typically workflow consists of pulling my files off of my memory carsd manually via explorer (into a specific folder under a root folder which I create manually). I then synchronise the root folder in lightroom.
Â
Unfortunately LR4 seems to take over and hour to do this since I have a lot of uncateloged videos. LR fails each time to catalog the videos.
Â
LR3, since it didn't support video, was blazingly fast and performing the same operations in LR3 takes minutes as oppose to hours.
I just downloaded 2013 Autocad for MAC and I can't manage to see my drawing toolbars and also don't know where to find workspace settings to change my workspace to autocad classic.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI cannot stand it when I make a new layer in Illustrator and the color hint becomes yellow. This usually happens on the third new layer into every project. I can go in and manually change it from yellow to the ten plus other colors, but I just want yellow completely out of the list. It's awful to look at, and I think every other color is easier.

I am working on a visual presentation that I will print out as a booklet and each page is saved as a .psd. Is there a way to configure the psd file so that when I open that one file (call it the master file) all the images open up together. I'd like to know if this might be possible so I can avoid having to open each image/page individually.

View 12 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm working in photoshop CS2 there is allways one big issue bothering me: all the menu's that are in the way (Tools menu, Layers menu, navigator, history). Does anybody know a shortcut to hide those menus all at the same time, and a shortcut to make them reappear?
Another thing that could solve my problem is to be able to zoom in outside of the picture (into the gray area), now I'm restricted to stay zoomed into the picture (so the most left pixel will also be the most left pixel in your photoshop screen, if anybody knows how to change that..
Using Photoshop CS3 on Windows XP
Any documents opened in Photoshop have a yellow tint to them. Even new blank documents have a sick yellow overtone.
All other Adobe products including bridge display documents correctly, and all menus/panels in PS are shown correctly. The color problem is strictly within documents in Photoshop.
I've attempted to change all the color settings (RGB modes, Conversion Options, etc.) in several documents with no change. I've also closed Photoshop, located my .ICC and .ICM files in "program files/common files/adobe/color/", renamed the "Profiles" and "MPProfiles" directories and restarted Photoshop. Did not change.
I'm using ACER and LG monitors, which both seem to display everything else properly but both are showing the yellow tint on the PS docs, although the ACER (being a brighter monitor) shows more yellow than the LG does.
I use CS2 on Windows XP.

View 9 Replies View RelatedHow are you all? I just have a quick question. Is there a possible way that I can get a workspace I have and transfer it onto my other computer? The thing is, I customized it, (the name is "00001") It is not a preset one that came with photoshop.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn PS CS3 you could open as many graphical files as you wanted, move them around on the scrren, edit them, then create a new file and copy those into it creating a composite image.Â
Now, with CS6, I haven't figured out how to do that yet. If I load an image, it takes up the entire workspace, with rulers going negative to hugely positive with no reason to do so. If I load another image, I can't see them both unless I tile. if there is a way to put ALL files, say 10 of them all on ONE workspace at once? I'm almost ready to go BACK to CS3!
where my custom workspace are stored. I want to copy several I created on my desktop to my laptop. Have looked extensively without success.
Â
The ability to create customized work spaces and quickly jump between them was a major leap forward in PS. How the CS6 migration grabbed my workspace from CS5. Now I want to copy them to my laptop, too.
My problem is that when I open a new image, the image window floats behind my left-sided panels.Â
I really want it to default to a location that I set for any new document that is created or image that is opened, but I can't figure out how to save that location and I've searched online and in the preferences.
