I now have windows 7 64 bit and I have done some research and found that the plugin is not supported for my operating system. here ever used DSB Flux and has run into this problem. found a filter that does the same or any of the things that DSB used to do?
Is there a replacement plug in similar to the "Variations" command that was thoughtlessly aborted in CS6... ANYTHING SIMILAR AT ALL. Â I know what all you "pros" will say, but I have been using it since it was created and I like it
All of a sudden, PS will not allow me to type. This is not the same as the usual problem I've seen others have, where they can type, but can't see what they are typing (which is usually a result of font size).
In my case, it's as if PS does not respond ot my keyboard at all. I select the type tool, draw a text box, and I can see my cursor blinking waiting for me type something in it. But when I begin typing, the curson remains where it is and continues to blink, as if it's still waiting for me to punch keys.
I've opened previous work, and was able to select text and delete it, but I can't edit it or add to it. Anything that involves typing won't work. Again, it's as if PS has stopped responding to my keyboard commands. In fact, it won't even respond to the ESC or ENTER keys when the type tool is in use.
It's obviously NOT the keyboard, because I'm able to type in every other program (including ImageReady). But just for grins, I've installed new batteries to my keyboard. I've tried an alternate keyboard. I've tried deleting my preferences (ALT/CTRL/SHIFT at program startup) to no avail. I've even gone so far as to uninstall and reinstall the entire program.
I'm Looking for a Photoshop plug-in/filter that can "explode"/"pixelate"/"crystallize"...but not like the default filters in PS
(i am using CS4 on PC)
Imagine an image, lets say a leaf. i am looking for a filter / plug-in that can make small cubes out of the image and then expand/explode the cubes (large pixels) so the leaf looks like a "digitized explosion/expansion"
since i can not post links do this to see an example of the effect i am looking for: input: world-map-basic-dots-vector into Google, pick the first link at vector stock dot com and see the dotted world map (a simple example)
This could (in theory) be done by hand not using ANY effects/filters/ plugins but it would take a long time to do and would be very hard to edit after the cutting has been done.
OK, my friend has an iPhone and he has a photo program that let's you select a color (such as red) and take a photo. When it comes out, everything that is normally red will be red, but anything else will be gray (b&w)
Is there a plugin that will allow you to do a post-processing to a photo like this?
I have a new 15" macbook pro, and have the set requirements to run Photoshop CS6 even after the recent updates. However, I still cannot access the "Filter Gallery", and when I went to find the so called "Filter Gallery" plugin folder--what do you know that plugin is missing all together.Â
I've already done the Preferences, show all plugins, etc... deal and this is not the issue here. My Filter Plugin is missing all together, and my macbook pro was purchased brand new from the Mac store, 3-4 months ago.
I have been a paying Adobe Creative Cloud member since day one, when it first became available, and now I'm over the top upset over this problem! How can I fix this missing plugin?
What is a VERY good noise filter plugin for X4 or X5? In the past few months I demo's Adobe's Lightroom which had an excellent noise removal capability.. AMAZING really. The problem with Lightroom was NO support for PNG files.. and I have 10's of thousands of them. Many of my images need such a noise filter, and the stock one isn't so hot.
Font Flux Architect characters in normal and bold formats are displayed as blank squares, though italic and bold-italic format display them correctly. Print preview shows all formats correctly.
I have a PS (7.0) layer and want to replace speicfic RGB values with a nother RGB value. For example replace RGB (220,220,220) with RGB (125,135,145). I am trying to create an action to automate this process for multiple PSD.files (approx 50) that need the same RGB value conversion. I tried using the "replace color" but this defined an area to modify not a specific RGB value.
I tried to use the lens flare filter in Photoshop CS6.While the lighting effect is interesting, it introduces ugly artifacts like blue or orange blobs (which are supposed to be the reflection of the diaphragm, but do not look anywhere close to that, but instead are just cheesy looking blobs of color). Â In the "movie prime" setting blue lines are added which have nothing to do with lens flar.On top of it, the preview is about the size of a stamp. Any way to use the filter without getting these artifacts, or is it - what I assume - just a useless toy filter, that has probably been dragged on for years and years because it's always been there? What do you use to create a lens flare effect? Are you just building it from scratch with brush work?
I've seen some stunning "face replacements". I just can't get the textures of the two source photo's to match perfectly. For instance a coarse photo from a newspaper and a high res photo. I use PS CS6.
I have an image in which I am trying to replace the black coloring in a flag to pink, but the replacement isn't going through. The flag only becomes a greyish color.
To replace the color I used Image--->Adjustments--->Replace Color and then selected the black with the eyedropper, and change the color on the bottom to the pink.
I need to change a solid black shape to a brown color, but the color replacement can't change b&w to actual colors right?
Well I know I could select it and just fill it, but it gets too pixelated; the edges on the shape are a little feathered.
When I do the color replacement tool the value changes nicley, but why can't the color change also...is there any method that can change this black shape to brown without having to cleanup the edges?
I cannot find my copy of CS2 to install on new machine. It was actually an upgrade from CS that I had downloaded...somewhere...I called Adobe and was told they cannot supply a replacementI would need to upgrade to CS3 (which I'm not interested in at the moment). I find this hard to believe...have I been informed correctly? Any ideas how to obtain a replacement (not interested in cracks, btw)?
OR can someone tell me the exact filename of the original download so I can refine my search on my old PC?
I have a few photos of some models dressing in solid color outfits. I would like to add patterns in place of the solid colors. Is there a quick method or auto action, that allows you to do this?
camera raw filter does not show up on the filter drop list on CC. I am trying to determine why this is the case. So far everything else seems to work.
I am trying to change a silver to a deep reddish brown but when I try the colour is off..Here is what I have tried.
I have used the colour replacement tool as well as the Hue tool but like I said it produces a variation of the original colour and the new colour.I have also played around with desaturation but with the same colour I end up with a pink. This was just a shot in the dark.
My issue is I have a panel that is a gradient background and I need to change the color from yellow to blue. I have successfully changed the solid color to 0072b9 in the top left using the Color Replacement tool, however cannot work out how to change the rest of the image.
The "swoosh" in the middle of the image seems to be a different layer perhaps? Every time I change it, it goes purple and changes the rest of the image. I wanted to fade out 0072b9. I tried to replace the more faded part towards the middle / bottom right to 5ACCFF which is getting lighter but it just dirties up.
My lod laptop died. Reinstalling Photoshop 6 (! ) on my replacement, I was disallowed from registering, receiving a message that the software had already been registered.Â
I need the word "JUVENILE" replaced with "MAGNOLIA", and "CHILD" replaced with "GHOST" also "WILL SMITHS GHOST WRITER" completely deleted. I need the replacement text to look exactly the same as the original.
When I tried to use it a second time, instead of replacing my color that I click on with black (my chosen color) it changes it to gray. When moving the tool over other areas, it grays them out as well. It looks as if the tool takes all color away.
I have the correct tool settings: Mode: Color, Sampling: Once, Limits: Discontinuous, Tolerance: 30% and Anti-aliased is ticked.
I have also reinstalled Photoshop, but it still didn't work.
I know there are many posts in different forums about the colour replacement tool (believe me, I've read them all) and some people have had the same problem as me but no one yet has come up with a solution.
This tool is fantastic and allows you to change the colour of an image without affecting the texture and shadows.....SOMETIMES!! Code:
the Color Replacement Tool in PS CS4 but I can't make it work. I thought it should allow me to pick a color as the background color and replace that color with whatever I define as the foreground color. Does anyone have a good tutorial on this tool?
I'm actually trying to turn the background of a picture of my grandson black eliminating the brown blanket he's laying on. Is there an easier way than color replacement to do this?
