View 2 Replies View RelatedI just starting working with AutoCad 2014 Lt....and its great. I have a problem with the interface when I have two drawings open at the same time that are xref'd...the screen starts flashing, mouse dragging and the operations are very slow. Example,. if I have the plan open and the elevations open in two separate model space drawings but the plan is xref'd into the elev for reference. Is this an issue for others? What is the fix? This didn't happen in our older ACAD 2005. It is distressing, and I thought it was a server issue, but if I work off my station only, it still happens.
View 1 Replies View RelatedApparently the issue has been happening since as far back as CS2. The flashing text cursor is only visible in the upper left hand portion of the screen. If the text your are attempting to edit is on the far right or bottom of the screen, the cursor vanishes. Some people have suggested zooming in and out, but this only appears to solve the problem because the art board may get nudged into the "good" portion of the screen. I did a screen shot and found that the cursor is only visible in about a 930p x 600p area of the window (not including toolbars). Incindentally, the is the same size that the window defaults to when initially opened. On a HD monitor, this amounts to a very small space.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am encountering some frustrating issues with AutoCad 2114 and Windows 8, some examples are as follows.
-Flashing, glitchy, slow selection tool.
-With all snaps on, it seems as though it is harder than usual to get it to respond.
-Rotation of 3D items very slow.
-Items disappear when zoom is used.
-Redefining blocks, the parent block either increases or decreases in size.
-When opening a dwg created on 2007 one dimension moved from original location.
- Drawing extents changes and now longer can be zoomed as before, I have tried the F1 help to define the drawing limits and this has not worked.
I am experiencing two problems. One is the tool icons in Photoshop are disappearing on the screen. I move the cursor and see nothing on my screen.
The second problem is at other times the proper tool icon and function is not showing up and working. I select for example the pen tool and the hand tool icon show up and the function works as the hand tool not the pen tool?
I am using the final released Photoshop CS6 software, not beta, and am having the same issue with the Patch tool. I start to drag around an area to make a selecton, and the screen goes blank so that I can't see where I'm making the selection. When I release the mouse, the image appears again. Another problem which may be related is that sometimes when I zoom in, the screen goes blank. Closing Photoshop and re-launching it usually fixes the problem, but is an annoying time-waster. I have the most current update from the Cloud for Photoshop CS6, 13.1.2.X64.

When I use PS, sometimes the circle which indicates the size of the draw tool or the earse tool is freezing on my screens. Even if I close PS, it is still there or even when I lock my computer is still there.

View 1 Replies View RelatedCS 5.5. Just restarted Photoshop and still the same problem. I should be able to hold down the space bar and grab the screen to drag it around. Not working anymore.
OS X
CS 5.5
It seems difficult to make small on screen movements without the tool jumping. Would it be better use a low DPI mouse or a high DPI one? Wouldn't you get better control with a low DPI one?

how is this done?
Why does dragging on a Touch Screen change the cursor into a Hand Tool? This did not happen in CS 5.5 and I could edit on my touch screen monitor. With Photoshop CS 6, as soon as I start to drag, the cursor changes to a hand cursor. I have look at all of the system options and nothing seems to affect it so I have to assume it is something wrong with Photoshop CS 6.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAs in title, in Photoshop CS6 I seem to be getting an awful lot of flashing of the image area. By "flashing" I mean that the area turns completely black for split second fairly often. It seems to be somewhat influenced by my actions, as when i alt-tab out of photoshop with the window still visible, the image area stops flashing.
My PC's specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
AMD Radeon HD5770
6 GB RAM
Windows 8
I seem to have found the thing causing the flashing, it seems to only occur when an area of the image is selected.
When I use adobe photoshop, when I perform an action, for example, magic wand, the whole adobe screen goes black, then goes back on. I have a new, fast computer with lots of memory, Window 8.
