I sadly do not have Photoshop C5 so can not easily remove someone from photos. I tried the cloning tool to just place the background over the person to be removed but it doesn't look very nice. (I'm just starting to use Photoshop).
It is a lake scene and the person to be removed is on the far right, not in the middle of a group or anything.
So I have this photo. I see that yes I had to snap the picture before the fawns bounded off so there is a branch there. Would it be too difficult then to remove the branch?
What tools might be used to do such a job? Also I am hearing that perhaps the discoloration is a smudge on the lens. Does that seem correct?
I'm trying to remove all the added text (dates, Lakers logo in the top left corner) from this picture so it's just Kobe doing the layup as a photo. Is it possible to do this and keep it the same size (photo is larger, just click on it)?
I have a photo which I need removing an object. The photo is of a butterfly. However, there is a white sign with Thanks written. I didn't notice the sign when I took the photo. I'm not sure what is the best way to remove this sign.
I want to know if you can remove an item from a picture and it's shadow...lets say I have a picture with a vase...can I remove the vase with it's shadow from this picture to be placed in another photo...
I am using a template to create multi photo collage in Photoshop, I can't make the numbers go away. Did it once and saved the file wrong, am now having a print made with numbers on every photo. Very frustrated new user. So far, do not like working with this software. Takes entirely too much time to figure out how to use all the functionality.
I have been working on removing a tree that I photoshoped out.. the problem I have its over the top of buildings an I have been reproducing other areas of the building then reconstructing the building. I have one section that I can't really do this.
I stitched a photo together, I found another part of the image that I can use, but I need to blend it all.
If I upload a shopped image (basic editing, such as curves and selective colors for instance) on a site which anyone could see (naturally) and download if they like, can a person remove all the edit work to the point where the image returns to its first form?
What is the best method for removing White Fringing on a photo that is seen when at 100% image size ? There can be a lot of it when looking at fences and such against the sky and ground.
Just wondering if anyone knows a great fast way to remove water from a surface in a photo. The water splashes in the photos I am editing appear as dark spots(it is water on an interlocking pool deck), I want to remove the water.
I am currently using a combination of cloning, stamping, copying objects, and playing with brightness and contrast. But it is VERY time consuming. I edit photos of swimming pools quite regularly, and water on decks can be quite a problem, so I need a faster method, if anyone knows of one?
I have a stock photo of an item I want to sell but the picture shows some accessories I don't have so how do I remove these items and replace the space with the background. There are no layrers in the photo
I'm working on a portait where I want to give it a more shallow DOF (depth of field) than originally shot. In other words: I want to turn the background blurry while the foreground and subject should be sharp. I decided to use the Lens blur filter (Filter-Blur-Lens blur) for this.
Basically I just duplicated the image to a new layer, turned that layer into a smart object, added lens blur to it, then used a gradient filter on the mask in order to make the blur fade away in the front (just like a camera lens wide open would). Finally I used a brush to carefully remove (mask) the blur from the subject, revealing the (unblurred original image) bottom layer.
The problem is that the blurred layer also introduces a "halo" around things which isn't very attractive (see screenshots below). Is there a way to make the background blurry without adding halos? I've tried Gaussian blur as well but the same problem was there. I'm using Photoshop CS4 on a Mac.
Original image
Duplicated layer blurred (lens blur) -notice dark "halo" above hair
Masked to reveal sharp (original) layer for subject. The halo is of course still there. Not very flattering
I'm working with the attached photo. As you can see (or rather, can't see) Jeanine's eyes are obscured by the glare on her glasses. I'm sadly finding little blips and blurbs such as this on all the outside shots because this event took place on an absolutely spectacular day (not that I'm complaining given the bizarre weather we've been having). It's just I could not see in the camera's display some of the problems. I even had a couple that are completely blurry though they looked fine on the display at the time.
What is the simplest way to quickly correct this? I have several similar shots of her but the glare is present in all of them. It's actually worse in a couple of them.
Is there a tutorial for cutting out part of a photo and using it in another photo. I have seen one on youtube but it is not detailed enough. It dosen't fully explain how to add your cut out part of a photo to a new photo. That is, how do i put the cut out part of a photo on top of a new background?
I have a photo that includes the date the picture was taken on the front of it. The text is in yellow and part of the date covers my suited arm. My question is how can I remove the date, and have the area where the date was reflective of the colors that are in the background (i.e., my suit is gray, so I want the area that the yellow date originally covered, now to appear the same color as my suit.
I want to get Lightroom 4 and I think I read somewhere that instead of having to erase and clone unwanted objects in a photo, one could click on object and remove it and the computer would fill in the background to what it should have been. Ex: photo of a church with light pole in front. click on pole, it disappears and what is behind the pole is pictured without the pole in front. I saw this a few months ago when a friend sent me the info. Cost of software then was about $199. Now I cannot find that feature listed and also the price is much cheaper so not sure which software.
I'm kinda new to Xara Photo and graphic Designer 6. I have photos of appliance spares. I need to use only the images of the spare parts for an advert(of which the background will be white) - I dont want the background of the photo.
I have this photo I want to completely remove everything in the background from. That would leave the bear without a background which could be shopped into another background.
I have not been able to find a function for adding descriptions for my Flickr photos directly in LR.So far I have done it directly in Flickr. There is however one problem when I do things this way. If I update and republish a photo from LR - the description in Flickr dissappears.
I've blown up the attached image to 200% and cropped the most problem area -- this is only for online/RGB viewing, not hard-copy print. The hand/body part of this crop is from a frame taken with my Canon HV30 camcorder which only goes to HD resolution (1920x1080i) and due to low-light, it's got some bad artifacts. Mainly the green splotches.
I've already done as much Transform/Fix Interlace as I can up to the point where it can start losing definition.
Seems like the only thing as far as I know is to dive in and clone all those areas one by one using the clone took by borrowing "good adjacent territory" to clean up the mess. I've tried a close up "Replace Colors" but it's a bit too hit-and-miss.
I'm trying to clean up an image for a friend. He's a painter and his photo shows all the hatch marks of the canvas. I have tried noise removal but it doesn't remove enough. I have tried despeckle, destripe, deinterlace and antilais. The option that works the best is the oilfy filter but to achieve a good result I lose details in his painting.
I tried to do heal selection but it tells me Error: eval: unbound variable: plug-in-resynthesizer. When i go to the registry i find resynthesizer scripts URL.... I install the scripts but still get the message.
Any other tool or script that will be useful besides healing sections of the photo with the healing brush.
