I just installed Photoshop CC, along with other CC software on Mac OS X 10.8.5. All the other software is working great, but Photoshop refuses to start and give me an error that says that the program will not initialize due to a program error (translated from the french message: "impossible d'initialiser photoshop en raison d'une erreur du programme")
I uninstalled Photoshop, remove an old after effect CS3 that was left (to be sure) and reinstalled Photoshop, but still the same message.I never installed Photoshop on this computer before, so I didn't do something wrong with its preferences.
I can't seem to get my profile start and end station labels to appear even after I checked "Label start station" and "label end station" in the profile view properties.
4. chckdsk for error and fix.still error so I've gone through this.
5. I uninstall Autocad 2014 completely, uninstall it manually one by one, deleted left over folder of autodesk or similar software to it, deleted its registry keys.just like the instruction on how to remove autocad completely in autodesk, I just followed it all. [after Reboot]
I want to start AutoCAD LT without the empty drawing. Just AutoCAD and the welcome screen. How can i do that? I always close the first drawing and begin a new one by choosing out of several templates or start with an existing drawing, rename and modify it. For NEW or OPEN i like to use the welcome screen.
I just installed 3DS Max 2012 with a student license, but I encountered a problem that doesn't seem to go away. Whenever I open it, it gets to the "Starting 3DS Max 2012" screen and then freezes. The process freezes as well. Is there a way I can fix this? I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-Bit, and a Dual-Core Processor. My computer meets all the System Requirements except an insufficient video card.
I have a VB .NET Dll that add a new ribbon in AUTOCAD.When I load this dll from AUTOCAD, this new ribbon is well added.I'm trying to start this dll with AUTOCAD Start.

After running perfectly for months my CS5 will now not start from either the icons or the applications folder. I've done the following;
1. Uninstalled it. 2. Deleted all the relevant folders. 3. Run the clean up utility. 4. Rebooted the computer. 5, Reinstalled CS5. 6. Run the updater. 7. Restarted the computer.
Everything else (Bridge, RAW etc) works fine, and if I open the CS5 package and run the unix executable it fires up. The terminal window does say "No javatime present, requesting insatll", but I have the latest Java running on my machine. I'm running OSX on a 2012 imac i7. All software and drivers are upto date.
I get the message Photoshop.exe - System Error "The program can't start because QtCore4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I've tried reinstalling Photoshop CS6 but the problem remains, together with the message.
I am using Photoshop CS6 on my Win7 - 32b, and it used to work just fine, but recently for no apparent reason it just won't start. There is no error window, no freezing my computer, or anything else, it just won't start.
Today I updated Photomatix to 4.2 and right after I did that CS5 won't start. Before the update CS5 worked fine. Don't know if it's a coincidence or not. what I should try before uninstalling and reinstalling CS5?
I am running XP Pro with SP3 and all current patches. My dvd drive is a Plextor PX-760A. At first neither the CS4 application dvd nor the Learning dvd would start in my drive.
Then I flashed the drive firmware from 1.04 to 1.07. This drive uses the windows drivers. Plextor does not supply drivers.
After flashing the firmware the CS4 Learning dvd starts fine. I also found my CS3 dvd and it also starts fine.
However, the CS4 application dvd will not spin up. The drive makes 2 faint beeps, tries to spin up the disk a few times and then gives up.
Any suggestions on what I might try before calling Adobe and asking for a replacement disk?
I dont know if this is related to my problem... but i installed about 1,500 fonts yesterday. And today i tried opening PS7 and i am getting the attached error. It displayes the splash screen and when it is done it displays the error. I tried using the direct file link, making a new image, opening an exsisting image. All does the same thing. Once i click okay it bombs out. Any ideas?
I entered the serial, I got the green checkmark, clicked OK, then PS just randomly closes.
I try to open PS again, and some license agreement comes up, I click Accept, and that window closes, followed by PS NOT starting up. I even got the latest updates and all that. I've been google searching this crap for an hour.
Ive been using PS CS3 for a long while. All of a sudden it wont load. The logo comes on the screen and you can see it reading files. When it gets to reading preferences it stops and just hangs.
whenever I run ps cs3 it loads everything but after its done it just closes the window, I even tryed running it as administrator and it just says it closed because a problem caused it to stop working correctly, I meet all the requirements to run it and just some extra info:
My version of PS4 that was working fine has stopped working, it crushes at start up. I clean installed the program several times but the result is the same.
I installed PS CS6 and it immediately freezes after it opens up. I can not do anything... nothing works. I have to use task mgr to close it down. This is running on a refurbished Dell PC with a SSD Win7 & NVIDIA Video Card. What gives?
I've seen several similar threads with problems with Bridge, nothing recent with run issues with Photoshop CS6. I have installed most of the programs downloaded from the Cloud. Most run. So far, I've found Bridge, Encore and Indesign encounter a "Problem" upon opening and close with no further message or details. Dreamwever, Flash, Illustrator and Premiere run as far as I've tested.
From my user account Photoshop CS6 brings up a message about a locked scratch file and cannot run. I can start PS CS6 using Run As Admin and everything seems to run fine. Changing permissions on discs and on my user account still has PS CS6 fail to start. I've read similar posts on earlier releases. I have tried purging the preferences, both manually and using the crtl+shift+alt start. I still cannot get PS CS6 to run from my user account.
FWIW Gigabyte MB, w/ i72600k Windows7 64bit SSD for C: standard disk for user accounts standard disks for scratch and file storage (each its own disk)
I tried the uninstall / reinstall game without any change.
I am wanting to start using buildings in my art, what is the best way to do this? ... do i use the pen tool and cut the buildings out of an image or could i create the buildings from scratch?
I recencly purchased a new Mac. Specs: OSX Version 10.7.4 and installed my copy of Photoshop CS4 onto the machine.
When ever I restart Photoshop it always automatically opens the last doc in the program from the previous work session. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?
i moved some files around in my "Documents" folder in win 8 , the next day when I restarted my laptop I got two errors about AAM Updates, so I looked into the folders that I moved around & see that a folder labeled "Adobe" that was usually in my documents folder was in the new folder where is was moving things to, so I moved it back to my documents folder.
I tried to open Photoshop & it didn't open, didn't even come up with a error, so I assume that I should check my running processes to see if maybe it is just hanging but it wasn't even running so I figure next things to dod is check my event log to see what kind of error it is leaving there. So I am left to think that I messed something up by accidentally moving that "Adobe" folder, I was wondering two things...Is there another folder that is placed in windows "Documents" folder besides the adobe folder that I may have not noticed that got moved, can someone verify what folders get placed in "Documents" folder upon installing Photoshop & other Adobe apps & second can I just repair my Photoshop install instead of uninstalling & reinstalling?
Also it my event viewer error log it is saying something about MSVCR100.dll...maybe that is what is crashing.
Computer is about 6 month old running Vista. Installed and used program without a problem for last 6 months now it begins to load at the start up screen and then freezes. Task manager says "not responding." Re-booted several times however locks up at the same point near the end of the start-up screen load.
