Is there a way to preserve chapter markings when you output to an MP4? I output from VideoStudio Pro X4 to MPEG-4/iPhone H.264 (640 X 480) and the chapters disappear. I'd also like to have a title page, too, but I don't know how to do that either.
View 2 Replies View RelatedTrying to add slope markings on my corridors, and the only way I can find is to do it in the Corridor properties > Slope markings, then click add slope pattern, which asks you to select featurelines top and bottom of slope. Surely there is a way to simply switch on or off slope markings where in cut or fill?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have an oversized drawing that needs to print in several pages. I use the tile option and have also check the tile markings so I have a way of aligning the drawing after it's printed on a "non-commercial" printer. Trouble is, the tile markings are printing in the non-printable area of the page and I have no accurate way of taping the tiled pages together. Secondly, the original drawings aren't always printing original sizes when I create a PDF.
I'm not sure where to start looking for solutions to this issue. (I do have "none" set in my printer dialog box for its print sizing so it maintains the original settings).
Is there a way to reposition the tile markings? Is there a better way of establishing a registration for assembling the tiled pages after printing?
I've uploaded an Inventor project into my cloud account. When the drawing is exported from Inventor DWG to DWF, there are strange circles showing up on the base view.

Where is the best place to get symbols for pavement markings and signage in C3D2009? I used to get the symbols from symbol manager in LDD. Is there a better library in Design Center?

Bridge doesn't Start, Bridge mini is running (PS6)MacPro, i7, OSX 10.7.4
View 2 Replies View Relatedpurchased the 5.5-upgrade to 6.0 Designpremium. Everything seems to work properly except the bridge, wich won't start as stand-alone - works only as Mini-bridge inside photoshop.
While trying to start the bridge from photoshop ("go to bridge") results in a bridge's crash...
In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...
After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using bridge the past 2yrs, currently CS5... and looking to switch to Lighroom4.
Thing is, I'll probably use bridge from time to time, and already started rating stuff in Bridge. I noticed when I opened Lightroom that the star ratings were there which is great, but, in Lightroom I setup a copyright and applied it to a group of images which when in Bridge I'm not seeing.
When doing star ratings, keywords and copyright tags... do the files/images saves that info? I don't want to spend the time cleaning up my system in Lightroom, to find out that when I burn the files to discs and use on other systems or in Bridge the info doesn't carry.

I am new to Lightroom. I have been using Bridge and Photoshop since CS3. I have my own system to name and place folders into Windows My Pictures. I also do Batch renames for images in each folder I upload, including a name and date on the folder of images, which is placed in a folder that is labelled by year. This works nicely for me. But when I open Lighroom and try to import by going to my C drive, and finding the folders, it does not import where I would like it to, does not carry over the information, and in fact, makes a duplicate folder in Windows My Picture. How do I get it to import exactly what I have done in Bridge?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to import metadata into LR3 that I've created in Bridge CS4? Another thread here said it's possible, but there was no explanation on how to proceed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble with my metadata description / caption box when exporting to Photoshop CS6 and saving for web and devices. Once I save for web and view the image in Bridge all the necessary fields are transferred from Lightroom except description / caption field.
Below are the steps I have followed thus far.
> Tick Automatically write changes to XMP in cataloge settings
> Tick the box in the basic info field and caption sub field in Edit Metadata Presets
> (Command, E) Edit a copy with Lightroom Adjustments
> Resize then (Save for Web and Devices) in Photoshop CS6
I was pleased for the first time ever to see some yellow labels created in Bridge retained after an import into LR.
But before I got too happy, I then noticed (and this is why I'm writing), that the red labels I created in Bridge are not there only the yellow ones.
Anything I can do to have LR show all the colors?
LR 5.0
I'm having serious problems with Bridge after the ACR 7.4 update, and I am considering simply abandoning Bridge altogether (assuming 4.4 doesn't foul up this nest as well!). I have important Presets in PS ACR. Can these be exported to LR?
I also have Collections in Bridge I want to keep. Can this be exported to LR?
Hopefully, this can be reasonably accomplished. If so, it becomes a point in favor of the Cloud subscription.
Having organized, edited and rated my photos using Bridge CS4 but recently started getting seriously into LR3 I still want to keep that file structure, either in a transitional period or indefinitely.
I normally use Bridge to import the photos, then spend some time creating sub-folders (one folder per event), organizing them. I'm hoping that I can add those (already organized) folders into LR, but can't figure out how. I see how I can import the photos, but I don't want that as I want to keep them all in the same location (they're all organized on the hard drive as I want them), just have LR "see" them so I can further edit and rate them. How do I do that?
I also want LR to understand and see the edits I've made to my RAW files as well as my ratings, keywords etc.
Are there other things I should keep in mind when having my photos work with both Bridge and LR?
I have highlighted the Caption box and entered the information in the field shown below then Synced Metadata and saved. When I export the file to Photoshop CS6 and save for web and devices as a jpeg the description field shown below comes up empty. All other ticked fields translate from LR to bridge just not the caption/description field.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am saving the metadata in LR4 (as I normally do with LR3) and not all the adjustments are registering in Bridge CS5 or Adobe Camera RAW.
The develop panels (i.e. tone, presence) in LR4 have obviously changed and don't exactly match the current Adobe Camera RAW adjustment panel and so I am noticing that all the topmost develop tools such as Tone (Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks) and Presence (clarity, vibrance, saturation) are not registering/landing in Bridge.
I don't need or want a database manager for my photos. Is it possible to set Lightroom to work in a folder mode like Bridge.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just watched a few Lightroom 4 tutorial videos and it looks like exactly what I have been waiting for. I have been using PS for years but only accidently discovered Bridge on my hard drive a few months back and it happens to be exactly wha I had been looking for to organize my 1000s of SCANNED family pictures.
Today alot of programs are coming out for pictures downloaded from digital cameras (which I plan on eventually getting back to having had my own darkroom in my "youth"). So, I am wondering if this is true for Lightroom. Can i use it for scanned pictures and will it import all the metadata I have been entering into my photos in Bridge? Certainly the photos have to be cleaned up a bit and that may have to be done in PS but I like the way LR4 flows. I have looked, years ago, at Flicker,etc....too remedial.
When I make changes to my jpeg or psd files in Lightroom 4.3, these changes are not displayed in Bridge.
I'v checked the appropriate box in Lightroom's Catalog
Settings "Auotmatically write changes to XMP".
What am I doing that's incorrect?
Digitalmac.
After creating a new catalog in Lightroom 4, the .tif thumbs and keywords won't show in Bridge? .tif files created via the default catalog still show; and from what I can tell, the catalog setting are identical.
View 11 Replies View RelatedAfter importing my images into Lightroom 5.3, I discovered that the GPS location data was imported for some images, but not for others. When I checked the metadata files for the same images in Bridge, the location data was present for all of my recently downloaded images.
Why would Lightroom import the GPS data for some images and not others?
Is there any way to import the location data from the Bridge metadata files into Lightroom?
I was changing names with Bridge CS6 and I then I went to Lightroom 4, and I found out for my surprise that all the settings I had in those photos were gone..
