Paint.NET :: How To Cut White Background Out Of Picture
Sep 21, 2013
i have been trying to cut the white background out of a picture. But when i select the picture after cutting the white background out of it and putting it on a black background the picture surrounded of a part of the white background.
<--- this is the picture cut off the white background.
<--- this is the picture when i put it on a black background
I just started using Paint.net, and while I love it, I am functionally useless with it as of now. I am making a pair of shoes on another website, and I need this image as a picture for the shoe, but no matter what I try, the image always saves as a white background, when all I want to save is the picture itself WITHOUT the white background.
I just learned how to remove an object from the pic. Now this is my question.............i have a pic of a flower and i removed the background. I want to put the pic. on a solid white background. How to do this?
Okay so I'm trying to take the white background off of a picture using the select a color on white, but it takes out a lot or the fur and eyes(it's a picture of a cartoon cat) How can I remove the areas of can from the selection without removing the pieces of cat too.
It's creative commons, so I guess I can post screen shots...
The cat is from [URL]...
A general idea of the selected area
What happens when I take out the selected area
So how can I take the pieces of the cat out of the selected area so when I try to delete the background I don't get an invisible cat?
So i have been desperately hunting around the internet for a place where I could find some Photoshop experts and here i am.My request is if you could make the background white of the picture attached
I'm trying to change the white background on a picture of myself to be transparent. When I use the "Color to Alpha" tool, it works, but when I paste the photo into word/powerpoint/etc not only does it turn the white background 100% transparent but it also makes the whole image slightly transparent.
How can I make the white background disappear without making the whole image transparent? I want to use color to alpha because if I simply use the magic wand tool and delete the white area there is still some white showing through my hair.
I just want to cut out/lasso an item in a pic and not have a black or white background..just the item itself..
I have *picked a photo *click layer *chose transparency *added alpha channel* *cut/lasso item out *selected invert *pressed delete on keyboard *pressed select and none
I then get this picture which looks perfect right???
But when I copy and paste it or open file in paint or anywhere else it ends up like this? I want just the cut out and not the background too but no matter what I do the stupid thing comes with..
In elements 11 layers is there a way to create a white mobile template that sits over a background picture? I need to create a white boarder around a standard 4x6 picture, to create a picture with very specific dimensions, to expedite the trimming process on the final print. This "mobile white template" would allow me to select part of the picture. This White boarder would act a little like a mobile picture frame.
The white border only shows up when i color in a part of the picture, not when its all white and black. I've tried the feather tool but it didn't work. It never happened before when i made my other pictures, it just randomly started!
i am tryen to make my picture black and white with some color.. I figured out how to do it by going to duplicate layers, then blck and white then eraser to what i want colored...BUTTTT when i mess up and i get color in the parts i dont want color HOW DO I fix my mess up?
I am trying to add a background to a picture,so i get a background picture, save it to my pictures on comp, i open it up with paint, its very small, i enlarge and its all distored and blurry and i cant resize it right.
I have a color picture in Paint.NET, and I want to make it black and white, like, something from 1961. Are there any features that can allow me to do this?
How do i blend a picture into a background? It's like this. I make a picture of an anime char and the background is all gray or white, but when i put it onto the background, the gray or white part of the pictures shows up and blocks the background a little? How do i Overlay the background onto the picture gray background? For example:
Picture 1 is what happens, but I want to learn how to do it like Picture 2.
The image below has been touched up (i have cleaned up the lines with the "line/curve tool"), and even redrawn some lines. As you can see, the background is white. How to use the background (all the white) as a "stencil". this way i can use a bold brush to "airbrush" some shading and shadows onto her body, without having to worry about it spraying outside of the lines. i know it can be done, i have done it myself in fact, i just can't remember how. I have the plug-in called "isolate lineart", just FYI.
just downloading Paint.NET v3.5.9(Beta Release build 3.59.4278.36311).
I have a PNG file for which I would like to remove the whitebackground howto do it in this latest version. I found an answer for this issue in the webhowever I cannot find the "Alpha Mask" under "effects" instep #2.
bestand easiest steps to complete this task in v3.5.9.
I have a image that has everything on the background layer. I want to delete some text and replace them with different text. But when i use the selection tool to delete the text, i just get a white/black check box area. How do i delete a portion of the picture and replace it with white blank space?
Oh and how do i adjust the size of the text box when inserting new text?
I took a pic of my kitty against a pretty white wall but it was late at night so the wall came out very gray. I had to catch it before she moved. Can I change the color of the background and not the kitty or the hat?
I have a picture with white background . I want to crop only the picture from there with transparent background .
i read your forum and i use the Magic Wand Tool , and i save the image in png , but the image saved was also with white background . How i can do this .
Basically I'm trying to print a bar code onto black card. I need there to be a white background underneath the bar code otherwise the entire thing will come out black.
I've tried creating a "draw filled shape" with white and pasting the bar code onto a layer above that but it does not work!
I was wondering how do I change the white background color to another color? I do enjoy using Paint.Net very much, it does suit my needs, in fact it's better than the windows paint program, far better!
Bassically i want to create a photo collage of pics. I have used the Lasso Select tool to cut out my images in the shapes that i wanted and deleted the remaing background. i then saved the cutout image but the issue i am having is that the canvas (checkerboard) is larger than the picture. I can resize the canvas however the images are not standard shapes and the area fills up with either black or white filling.
When i use Picasa to do the collage the pics that overlap are surround with a border; basically the fill between the image and the canvas.
I have 1 picture with a blue background and a metal steel basin. I would like to remove the background and change the color to white.
Background is a material so it's not all perfectly the same color, very slight different shades of blue in the picture. The tutorials say outline it but this is a circular metal object. I tried using the circle tool but I can't get it exact and there seems to be no way to select a circle.
