Photoshop :: Image To Be Tinted Red / Green Or Blue With Color Info
Aug 26, 2011I have an app on my iPod called "Photoshop Express", and it has the simple option of 'Tint', which will tint the image the color you want (red, green, etc.). How do you do this on normal, desktop Photoshop?
No fancy "how I like it", I want just the image to be tinted red, or green, or blue, and the image have the color info, meaning if I convert it to Black and White, you could tell a difference in lightness and darkness from the original picture (you can tell it was tinted).

I've managed to change the existing colours to make it flat, and I worked out how to make highlighting by painting which saved a lot of heartbreak, but now the overlay comes through as a really garish colour or obliterates all detail.
What is the best setting to colour something like this?

Oct 17, 2013I have a picture of a gravestone on the wall of a church. Because of access I had to take the picture from below so that the resulting image is a regular trapezoid, being longer at the base than at the top.
How can I make the image into a rectangle? Effectively I need to expand the width of the image at the top whilst keeping that at the bottom the same, with everything between being expanded in the right ratio. I am not worried if the images of the brickwork around the stone are distorted - I can remove them.

I followed exactly as described on page2-page5.everything goes exactly like mentioned ,except for last page(5) instruction ,which says " When the positioning of the selection looks correct, go to Edit > Erase Selection to delete the base of the gradient. You should now see that you have created a glossy text effect similar to that that you can see on the first page of this tutorial.

So I took a fairly dark shot and wants to imporve it using Paint .Net. Is there plug-in or tutorial for this? I tried to use auto-level, which is horrible looking. Recently I have seen a pretty effective HDR Simulation effect on Fantacia Painter Free on my WinPh7. The result is natrual and yet brighter. How do I make something like that. Making a fairly dark photo (not too dark) to a better brighter and still natrual looking one?

I want it to intelligently convert pixels of other colours, i.e. a colour that is half-grey half-A becomes half-grey half-B, a pixel that is transparentesque A becomes transparentesque B, and so on.

But when I then go 2 "Effects" & choose/use ChromaKey (again, as instructed) the background pic is now only a small square in the upper left hand corner of the window & the rest of it is white. May 2, 2012I have a light-colored image that I want to make a transparent background of without having any of the jagged white edges and whatnot, to make a signature and avatar and so on. I've tried the magic wand, Alpha Mask, and Alpha Space, none of which have succeeded. As I said, the image itself is very light (the attached image), so it's difficult to achieve what I'm trying to do.

Dec 26, 2012I have a picture of a vase which of course has the shadow of a 3 dimensional object as well as the warp in the image caused by the image wrapping around the round vase. Is there a way that I can "unwrap" the image from the vase and to have the picture appear flat? I tried manually doing it with warp grid but it was a lot of work and did not look very smooth.
