I drew an image and now want to edit it in photoshop cs3 or illustrator, I want make what ever line that suppose to be vertical or horizontal straight, and curvy line even. View 5 Replies View RelatedI remember seeing a post about a plugin which allows you to remove the background from an image...
Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the plugin....
Or if you can point me to a Tutorial that deals specifically with removing a background colour from a complicated image i.e. an image with a complicated outline...
I want to place the outline of a grid over a section of the image; something transparent - apart from the lines of the boxes - and scalable, in the manner of a MS Word table or a MS Excel worksheet. I tried a gridmaker plugin, but it insisted on covering the whole work area; which isn't what I want.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a black-and-white outline drawing that I want to color in using the "Bucket Fill" tool. There are two things I'd like to do to make it easier:
1. Is there a way to prevent Bucket Fill from leaking through small gaps in the drawing? Usually what happens is, I fill in one region, and then suddenly a much larger region gets filled in. I then have to examine the borders of the region for a small opening, close the gap with black, and then try again. Is there a feature that lets me say e.g. "Don't fill through gaps less than 4 pixels wide"?
2. Once I'm done coloring, I want to remove the black outline to make a more realistic, less cartoony image. However, it's tedious to go and paint over every segment of the outline with the color of its adjoining regions. What I want to do is essentially: Replace every black pixel in the image with the color of the closest non-black pixel. Is there a feature that does this?
Also, if there are third-party plugins that do these things, that would work just as well.
What I have is an image of cloth, tablecloth to be precise and its all rumpled up...
What I need is to place splats (food stains) all over it, well only one or two... I don't mind if they are separate images or created directly on another layer or whatever is the best way...
The thing i'm stuck with is how to ensure they look like they're really on the cloth and take account of the light, shadow, peaks & troughs the cloth already has in its rumples.
How can I make 1 image out of 2 images?
I have made- 1 image with a black line on white background saved as xcf- 1 image with a black letter "A" on white background saved as xcfBoth images are rectangulars. I scaled the height of both images to the same value.
Output should be 1 image - with white background:
- one rectangular consisting of the old 2 rectangulars- area is the sum of the area of the 2 old rectangulars- on left side the "line" image
- on right side the "A" image
- new image can be saved as xcf
Looking for answer in simply consecutive row of commands like:
GIMP > file > open file: image with line > right click on image > image > scale image > ...GIMP > file > open file: image with letter > ...
How can I do to better blend this two picture together as the orange paint is overlapping the metal grill on the door how to make the paint looks more realistic...
View 6 Replies View RelatedIn gimp I have imported an image. I then duplicate the image four times (I am trying to make four different crops of the same image). But every time I crop one corner of the image, it automatically crops ALL OF THE OTHER DUPLICATES TOO!!!! I have tried just importing the same image four times as individual layers, but that doesn't work either! Why does one layer affect all of them?!

Right before putting the image in a normal cloud picture, what's the easiest way to select the part of the image I want in the cloud and have it fade out all around the image like it does in this example? Is there a much better way than the Fuzzy Select Tool option?
make a new image with the same scale "dimension" of the copied object "images".
View 4 Replies View RelatedI wanted to create transparent icon.i created it and i can see black&ash rectangles around the image, this confirm that as a transparent image. But after exporting it to jpg or png White color background is coming when i see it in photo viewer.
How to avoid that white background, am i doing a correct method?
I have gimp 2.8 and am taking a class on gimp. I need to use an image to make text and it doesn't work.
I have followed steps from Google searched tutorials and I can do all the steps but the end result is I still paste a black font. (I tried opening gimp tutorials and it took me to a page to link to the tuts but wouldn't open? So i went to Google.
I have followed a variety of step lessons - some that are easy and some that go on forever. None work. The easiest steps were .. open an image / select tool font / click on image / type text / resize to how I want it to look / move it to where i want text to be over image / click on text layer / right click / drop menu choose "alpha to selection" = text letters become selected (at this stage I can fill with a pattern etc and that works so I know I have a selection) Edit/ copy / open new file / edit / paste / and the text should be written with the image as the letters BUT I just get the text in black.
What am i doing wrong or does this feature not work in 2.8.
I was trying to make a .gif image out of a 4 second video. i though i was able to do this with 2.6 but i really don't recall.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a picture of a gravestone on the wall of a church. Because of access I had to take the picture from below so that the resulting image is a regular trapezoid, being longer at the base than at the top.
How can I make the image into a rectangle? Effectively I need to expand the width of the image at the top whilst keeping that at the bottom the same, with everything between being expanded in the right ratio. I am not worried if the images of the brickwork around the stone are distorted - I can remove them.
I'am not an advanced Paint.net user - I use it somethimes for really easy things to draw. Therefore I have a question concerning the Link at the bottom:
[URL]
Is it possible to draw this easily with Paint.NET and which plugins to install to do this.
I wanted to make text/image glossy in paint.net.so i followed procedure given in this link : URL...
I followed exactly as described on page2-page5.everything goes exactly like mentioned ,except for last page(5) instruction ,which says " When the positioning of the selection looks correct, go to Edit > Erase Selection to delete the base of the gradient. You should now see that you have created a glossy text effect similar to that that you can see on the first page of this tutorial.
underlined part i just cant execute, because that link in paint.net software remains dead and i cant click it.
Is there a plugin I can use to make an image 3D? If not. It could look like the picture attached.

I have attached an image and was wondering how to make pictures like it with paint dot net.
Also, I did try searching but couldn't find what I was looking for but if I missed the info.
If I increase exposure or ISO, I either get blury image due to long exposure or noisy sensitive photo from high ISO. And the flash just looks ugly. So I took a fairly dark shot and wants to imporve it using Paint .Net. Is there plug-in or tutorial for this? I tried to use auto-level, which is horrible looking. Recently I have seen a pretty effective HDR Simulation effect on Fantacia Painter Free on my WinPh7. The result is natrual and yet brighter. How do I make something like that. Making a fairly dark photo (not too dark) to a better brighter and still natrual looking one?
