I have had a request to edit an animated gif. I have done so in the past using the agif plugin.
The issue I am having is the text is so small that it gets blurry when I paste it in.
I would like to put GMC on [URL] ... to look like this [URL] ....
What I want to do is select a small area of a photo and alter the brightness, contrast and saturation in it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI created an animated gif in ulead cool 3d. I also have a psd file that is used for a web banner. It contains slices and several different layers including some rollovers. What I want to be able to do is insert the animated gif into the psd file and have it still work as an animated gif while keeping the original psd file intact. Not quite sure what I need to do to get this to work since I am sort of a noob when it comes to graphic design.

Another way to phrase my task is that I'm trying to add a static background to an animated GIF. How should I do this in order to preserve the animation?
What I've tried to do is insert the animated GIF into a smart object in the PSD file but I can't get it to preserve the animation, even after making sure all the frames are copied.
I need to insert a Key Plan as a small part in my title blocks. I have a key plan ready in my model section. I did tried to play around in the block editor but could not find anything useful. I wish I could insert the key plan like viewport in the layout section.
On the side, my file directory always showed up on the paper when I printed my drawing out. Do you know how I can get rid of this ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like to edit an animated GIF. I can open it in GIMP and the various frames appear as layers - all good so far. I would like to paste in an object into each frame then re-export. The problem is, many of the frames have large transparent sections in them. I'm guessing this how the original program saved some space in the GIF file - by using transparency in areas that don't change from the first few frames. Is this going to cause issues, and if so, is there a way to export all the frames as images with the full detail rather than looking like a series of cheese-graters?

In the past, when I open any photo in Elements 10, the image would pretty much fill the space. the bottom edge of the picture would almost reach the bottom of the workspace...whether vertical or horizontal format. Then I would create a duplicate and hit either ctrl + 0 (zero) and the duplicate would be a nice large size. ( Double clicking on the little hand in the tool bar would also do the same trick).
Now , for some reason, the picture opens to maybe 60% of that size. It's way too small to work on comfortably. The duplicate is even smaller. When I hit the ctrl + 0 ...nothing happens size remains the same. If I pull on lower right hand corner to enlarge...it only enlarges the ruler and frame. Picture itself remains same small size. How can I get that back? I tried a system restore. that did not work.
Every time I use the paint bucket on something, it always leaves a small grey outline on the edges. How to get rid of that?

I save the files as GIFs. The files were originally saved to my computer right, they moved like they should. How can I edit animated GIF files and still have them be animated?
I'm working on a collage, and I'm not sure if Illustrator, InDesign or PS would be the best application to use.
I've got 7 sheets of paper, each with a bunch of black and white line drawings, that I've scanned into seven PDFs. I need to be able to select, cut, paste, resize, rotate, and move around each of the little drawings onto one big artboard - about 150 little drawings total.
I did this once in Illustrator already, and I learned the hard way that the "transform" tool also changes image resolution - I scaled the individual drawings down just so I could fit them all on the page, and when I tried to scale them back up again to make the layout look nice, they were extremely pixilated. I'd like to avoid this time loss the second time around!
What is the best way to select all of the little drawings from the larger PDF, copy, and paste into a new master document, erase the white background, and then manipulate the layout?
Why is the text size in the instructional boxes "File", "Edit", "Image" etc: so small that they are almost unreadable. I know its me, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

I have painted a banner and now I will create an animated gif, so the banner should be waving (like in reality). I have tried it with Effects -> distort -> twist but I couldn't realize it that it looks real.

I have a static picture, and a already-made gif from a friend.I want to put the animated gif INTO the static picture, and make it a new gif.
As in, the original animated gif remains animated and functions all the same, but basically now it is just part of a photo which remains still. For example, my specific idea currently is a photograph of my city I took, but I want to put the animated gif over a billboard that is in the photo.
I wanted to use paint.net with Animated Image to convert some gif animations to png animations and in the process reduce the file size of them as well.
I downloaded the files and unpacked into "effects" folder but I can't find anything in paint.net.
Opening a gif animation only results in a flat image.
How can I get this to work?
I just wanted to know if there is a plug in that will let me make animated images and/or banners?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create an animated GIF for use in a PowerPoint presentation. I've created the images in PDN and saved the cels as GIFs with the transparency threshhold set to 255. (I've also tried 0 and values in between). The individual cels have opaque white backgrounds, verified by inserting them in a PP slide overlapping another image. When I load them as layers into PDN and save as an AGIF, then change the extension and load onto the PP slide, the white backgrounds are now transparent!
This wouldn't normally be a problem, except that the transparent areas have an odd mottled effect to them instead of being solid white. How can I correct it?
The little windows (colors, tools, etc.) can be EXTREMELY annoying, as they are always blocking some part of the image or another. I think it would be great to have an option to make them into toolbars on the side or top of the image... something for 4.0 perhaps?

However, There are 4 small sections that appear transparent but when i hit the wand they are a different transparent color (still white and grey little boxes but don't turn pale blue on top when i hit the wand... And, It is these 4 small areas that still print white.
I don't know if i messed it up with layers before ... but i am guessing??? These areas won't erase again because they show as erased.
I tried copying and pasting in paint.net a variety of formats... Gif, Jpeg, Pnd and then tried erasing again and although Jpeg did erase.... i was back to square one and these 4 small areas keep printing white. How i can transparent these 4 small areas?
Im making a forum signature, but I don't know how to resize the image to small so in the canvas the image will show the body instead of just the head
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am working in CoreDraw X6 on Windows XP, and I was trying to create an animated gif banner. When I completed the set up, hit preview, the animation did not work. Thought maybe it was just the preview so I saved the file as an animated gif. Opened it in Windows Picture Viewer, and it still did not work. I also tried the process in X5 without any successful result.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to animate a small thing. A smiley face which bounces up and down. I have set it all up etc. but when I preview nothing happens. On the right hand side, in the movie docker, it shows the correct frames, (all 6 of them).
In the main window, when I click through the 6 frames, they are all frame 1. And when I press play, nothing happens (it says processing in the bottom corner, and keeps filling up the bar and starting again (assuming it is playing, but playing the same frame repeatedly?)
Not sure what to do with it? When I saved it, and opened the file, it kind of worked, all though frame one stayed there throughout the animation, the others did appear and do their thing, just behind frame one.
I need to use when trying to produce small but detailed images using PSP Photo X2? I have attempted to solve this problem numerous times without success.
