My iMac was recalled by Apple for hard drive replacement. I am now reloading my software (I don't use Time Machine). Have successfully reinstalled LR 4, 3 and PS but LR2, where I have a large number of photos in LR2 catalogues, is showing an error and won't download. It could be due to the fact that I have downloaded from the disk twice before to older computers, as and when I have upgraded equipment.
View 4 RepliesI am using a USB card reader to download images to LR4. When I plug the reader into the USB port I get an error message saying, "images on card do not meet download criteria". The thumbnails appear in Library mode but when I click on "Import", another error message appears saying the files could not be read.
As recently as last week I successfully downloaded images from the same card. As usual I reformatted the card before going on today's shoot.
I'm trying to download Photoshop CC. I keep getting error code 302...
View 1 Replies View RelatedAdobe Photoshop.com Inspiration Browser is giving me a download error, no matter how many times i click on try again. the update instructions had me remove the program via the control panel so now i no longer have this on my system. i had no issues removing and reinstalling adobe air (thinking this may have cause an issue) but the Adobe Photoshop.com Inspiration Browser still gave the same download error whether adobe air was installed already or not.

I didn't know there was a special way to delete adobe application so i just dragged it into a program called app cleaner and it deleted all the files. View 2 Replies View RelatedLR printed okay for about 1/2 of a job (~300 prints) I have and then this showed up. To finish I have had to "edit in CS5" now for a few days, thusly one image at a time and no info printed on the print either. After 2 days of printing good in CS5 it too began the dreaded "communication error".This did not happen until 2 weeks back. I spent days proving that the printer is "communicating" just fine. New cables, other programs etc. The printer driver has been reloaded dozens of times. The machine has been rebooted daily.
I do not think it has any relevance however,

LR4 beta is on the machine but not what I try printing from.
I have got a problem about getting user input. In a function i am first getting a selection from the user by editor.getselection(...)
then i show a palette set with my user control in the same function. everything is fine so far.
but after showing paletteset i try to get a string from the user by editor.getstring(...) in the same function but statement continues as i never request it. when i check the PromptResult status it is equal to cancel.

i tried to lock the document but it doesnt work either. when i comment out "showpalette(true)" it works correctly. i realized that if my document window s state is not WindowState.Maximized then my code works just fine but if it is WindowState.Maximized it does not work.
